Yeah they could have done a lot better with that moment. I'm not sure what they were trying to do with that scene. Maybe make us hate Vaylin? Had the party split up or paired up with the various Alliance Alert companions you pass before that cutscene then we should have been given the option to save both Torian and Vette.

That all depends on the writing quality. The traitor arc for me really ruined Theron's character with each flashpoint. Should her character end up in a scenario similar and to the same quality they gave his story, then yes I probably would kill her off too. At this present time? I don't know. There are other characters I would like to see come back more than more Lana content but they will require the same resources too. (Watcher II, Vaylin, Valss)

Well after watching characters take lightsaber wounds and blaster shots to the chest at point blank range and walking them off like it was nothing, I'm not even sure most of the people we encountered during the last few expansions are truly dead. - Darth Marr could have pulled the same stunt as Luke did in 'The Last Jedi' maybe he fears the Emperor and has run off to the corners of the galaxy. - Vaylin and Valss could have gone into some form of hibernation while their wounds heal like what happened to the Outlander when S/He gets stabbed in the chest by Arcann. - Theron may have been saved by Satele / Marr before perishing. - The 20+ people who returned during the Nathema flashpoint could simply be unconscious in those chairs. - The Emperor could be napping again. If all else fails just clone them or use some Sith Alchemy on them?

I tried to make a character at 60 and start from the chapters but it's very dull. I couldn't motivate myself to continue that character with knowing what was coming. It took 3 years for these expansions and they butchered it nearly every step of the way.

Story wise then yeah Dorna is defiantly alive if you choose to side with the Sith Empire. With Quinn it's the same unless you're a Sith warrior. He'll either come back to you or be killed off. However regardless of the story as I said you can claim both from the computer on Odessen. I wish they would do it for Vaylin, Acina, Marr and the other temporary or back-up companions.

Yeah, it would have been a great way to introduce the Zakuulan lore. Even if the Zakuulan characters shared the same story. I didn't mind kotfe, it wasn't until kotet/fa I started to notice all the wasted potential with this plot. Even the data-mined stuff for 5.10 isn't that encouraging.

So we clone Marr a few hundred times? An army of force sensitive clones is something I could get behind. My warrior would clone the strongest opponents she's encountered to serve her and the Sith Empire.

That would have been a good way in my opinion to introduce a third faction that could rival the Republic & Empire. Granted they probably would have likely been a beast to fund.

I don't remember much back from when kotfe was first introduced. I do remember one of my guild mates telling me the chapters didn't live up to the hype created from the trailer though. He thought we were going to end up in a three way war with the Sith, Republic and the Eternal Empire.

I think the introduction of the CXP and RNG grinds remain the main culprit for killing a lot of subscriptions. Story may have played a role too but not on the same scale.

Do you think Bioware will recover from the state they've put themselves into? whatever action they take it will likely annoy one group of fans. That said whatever happens I suspect will be drowned out by the dislike towards the new gear grind.

Well so Vader says but I wouldn't want to take his word for it. At least two were 'sane' from the cloning process in that game. Starkiller and the Dark Apprentice. If they cloned Marr would it still be Marr or would this new Marr start to develop different characteristics the original never had? Similar to the Starkiller clones above?

We've also got Starkiller who was cloned by Vader multiple times.

I would of had Theron return after he identified Vinn as the leader. The fleet I would have had Scyva take complete control over and return them to defend Iokath from the Imperials and Republic.

Wasn't there a story blog before KOTFE was released that had Darth Marr take on a new apprentice? Tell him the Sith Empire needs him and he should come willingly. Even in death he still fought to protect the empire.

Not a bad idea, personally I would go with the clone idea and transfer Marr's spirit or essence into the new clones body or better yet just hurl his body into the Belsavis machine and tell it to 'rebuild' him. I think there are plenty of ways we can bring back the dead. It's just a question of why we would bring back Marr, Vaylin and anyone else. Give us some two minute AA's with our favourite characters devs! Or just throw them into the computer on Odessen.
