No, it wasn't a star wars game. It was set in a medieval period. I can't remember what it was called!
When you get the quest, you're told a group of vicious villains is attacking outlying villages, and you're told to eliminate the attacker. When you get to the village, you have the option to explore some of the buildings and find evidence that suggested they were part of a cult that causes violence to children of neighboring villages. Then you discover the leader of the group was a victim of these barbaric acts for most of her child life. While she was primarily after these cultists, she targeted anyone that took her fancy.
Soon after you fight her, and if you wanted to save her, it would require like 5 or so rounds against her, with you winning all of them. Eventually, she gives up pledging herself to you once she realizes she can't beat you.
If you want to compare it to a KOTOR battle, think along the lines of Darth Sion from KOTOR II but every time he goes down you have the option to either kill him or try to redeem him. Eventually he gives in and either dies or goes to the surface of Malachor.
I suppose there would be similarities. However, this fight wouldn't be spread over multiple (8) chapters? It would have been like the fight in KOTOR II against Darth Sion. Every time Vaylin would go 'down' you could have the option to kill her or wait for her to get up and continue the fight. Eventually, exhaustion would have kicked in, (Though I suppose you could argue it would a test of your own endurance and patience) and that would have been the perfect time to stun her.
Yeah, Juhani fled the temple out of fear when she thought she killed her master. I don't remember much of her backstory, but I don't thnk she had it as bad as Vaylin did.
