  1. I wanted to move all of my characters to the new transfer server, but due to timing, I am now stuck with a single character stuck on Zhar Lestin with Pleasure Barge being unavailable for transfer. This is devastating to my legacy, now forced to different sides of the border between servers. This cruel act should not be allowed by Bioware. If we have any characters on a server, we should be able to bring the entire legacy, being that we can really only be playing one at a time anyway. Its time to march on Alberta, and end this travesty once and for all.
  2. How does this work out with the number of buttons. I know I use around 16+ different abilities on my characters at max level.. how does that work with a controller?
  3. Also new level cap means new ability purchases, either a money sink just to get your abilities up to par, and/or new abilities added, and honestly, classes as they stand have plenty of abilities. Not sure what it actually adds to the game.
  4. Sweet, I've been wanting to play a Cathar.
  5. Yeah this happens to me now and then, I think not hitting the respawn button the very moment you die helps, so projectiles with knockdown have a chance to hit you.
  6. Are you kidding? Level 10s hit like trucks, they can spam one ability and melt faces, because that is all they have. The lack of utility hurts, but they are far from useless. Use the level 10s to melt faces, and use the level 30+ guys to carry the ball, respond to incs, etc.
  7. I have to say that the legacy unlock unlock system was a disappointment. I thought they would do something like give you a point to spend on unlocks every legacy level like a skill tree, but instead legacy level just opens up cash sinks you only half care about anyway. I don't mind a few, but the idea that you can't get any unlocks from legacy level alone is really just sad.
  8. In a previous Q&A you noted that the varied durability for armor types was something that no longer made sense in the final design of the game, which leads me to wonder about what value we get from the armor type system as a whole. The restrictions it places seem very arbitrary. Troopers can dress up like Jedi without penalty, but marauders can't wear robes with breastplates under them. From the point of view of the developer, is there anything the armor type system adds to this game in its current incarnation?
  9. This makes sense to me balance-wise, but then again, its very counter-intuitive to the player. When someone takes a talent that says "Ability does X% more damage" I think it is reasonable to assume that ability would do X% more damage than it did before the talent was taken. Not that I expect you to redo all your game math, but perhaps using a phrase like "Ability does and aditional 25% of Base Damage" and consistently use "Base Damage" to mean the same thing.
  10. You desperately need the ability to make the chat box click through. The idea of having it up top was great, except I always end up clicking on the corner while trying to click on enemies. This is make or break for tanks. Also, z-indexing of GUI elements, and snapping to center/corner/other ui element.
  11. Do that planet where the clones were made in episode two. It has a cool interior style and there would be lots of aquatic vistas, which are cool.
  12. We need click-through on the chat panel badly. And why is it not configurable as part of the UI customization like everything else? I have a feeling its on a different system or something, which may explain the implementation difficulty, but for the love of god, this is something i want every day I play.
  13. You don't read patch notes I am guessing
  14. I think it would be neat to have some mission be rail shooters, and others be a little more free form. It really wouldn't be too hard. Think starfox 64. Most of the missions were tube shooters, and then when you got to a boss they fixed the camera to the ship and let you move around yourself with zero change to the interface. All they had to do was make you auto turn around when you got to far away. I think that was a great model, and it would be awesome to be able to control your direction on missions where you are attacking a station or capital ship. They could even have missions including both.. just like star fox 64. hell. I am just going to play starfox 64 while I am waiting for crafting to finish. The big problem with the current state of the tube shooter is that they have no where to go progression wise. Better ships mean more boredom on your 6 minute flight. Fixing that I think should be the first and foremost consideration to any further development on space combat. Even giving us a huge number of targets and possible bonus quests (impossible to do all at once) would help, in that we could always accomplish more with better ship upgrades.
  15. I think the timer is a good idea in general, though it does ramp up a little fast. Penalizing people for dying in MMOs is generally a bad idea. It really prohibits the designers from challenging the player, as anything you cant beat in one or two attempts forces the player to kill trash over and over again. Its not fun. I wish it would slowly ramp up to a minute and stay there. Enough to give you time to think about what you are doing and act as a good inconvenience, but not force you to go home. They should scale down repair costs for the same reason.
  16. drop it and get synthweaving. Armormech is for Aim/Cunning Synthweaving is for Strength/Wisdom Don't worry, you will still make metal looking heavy armor.
  17. Honestly I just wish we could use the basic attack more often, just because it has an awesome animation system that I never get to see anymore.
  18. Well that is cool to hear. I have been wanting to track down a narrow blade, as I feel like they better resemble original trilogy lightsabers. Do you know if there is any rhyme or reason to which are thin vs thick?
  19. One that slowly changes color would probably be weird, but what about one that changes color in motion vs being held still. I think this has a certain optics logic to it.
  20. I think if nothing else they should make more variety in colors. The yellow-black lightsaber isn't exactly iconic but I am glad they added that. Why can't we have purple lightsabers till end game anyway? Also, I think even subtle effects on the blade would add a lot without destroying the iconic aspect.
  21. Yeah its kind of ridiculousness that as a female there is nothing she likes at all. For he to like any gifts you need to be a romantic interest, which is really pretty dumb. I don't have that problem myself, but my wife rages about it. Nothing like it exists for males. I don't know if it was just an oversight or what, but they should really fix it.
  22. Why are all light sabers other than the red ones blurry? The red ones are nice and crisp and look great, and every other color looks fuzzy and all around less impressive. Even in loading screen we can see a nice crisp green one. What gives? Using other color just feels sad. Yes I know this QQ is trivial, but it needs to be said.
