  1. I doubt the 30 second extra on the enrage timer will suddenly make everyone kill the Dread Guard. So far all the kills I've seen have had Kelsara enrage and not die until well into the enrage. Guilds who are not ~top 25 (worldwide) will spend a lot of time wiping on the mechanics and only then have to worry about enrage timer, which is still extremely tight.
  2. To be honest, I've yet to see a kill where they managed to beat the enrage timer...
  3. No, I do not have any option to hide titles and legacies on OTHER players. I only want to see other players' names, nothing else.
  4. Would be nice to have the option to only show the other players' name on the name plates. Currently there's no way to turn off titles or legacies which adds quite a lot of clutter on the screen. Please add an option to hide titles and legacies, like you can disable showing the guild name.
  5. As the title says, I'd like to know if there any plans to make Armstech more viable crew skill. Currently it by far the worst crafting crew skill. The best barrel schematics are much harder to get than armorings, mods or enhancements (compare operation weapon drops to armor drops). Armstech crafts the worst augments, with only Overkill (power) augment being any good, and even then majority of classes use main stat augments (created by armor crafters). Sure we can craft augmentation kits, but so can some other crafting crew skills too. What actually prompted me to write this post was the 2.1 patch notes where ARTIFICE (the Jedi/Sith weapon crafting crew skill) gets yet another thing they can craft (dye modules). Artificers could already craft color crystals on top of the weapon stuff. When you put off-hand schematics in to the game you only gave them to Artificers. Armstech has nothing going for it. Nothing really unique or something easily acquired when compared to other crafters. I think its time for an Armstech buff.
  6. Conqueror is worth it if you want every advantage. More stats is more stats.
  7. They need to change the Adrenaline Rush to useable below 30% but brings you up to 50%. At 30% you can still get one-shot by most ACs.
  8. Updated on 16.4.2013! Now recruiting a healer for our second operations group.

    Level 55 in WZ's

I did read your post. Just because the item quality goes up to level 63 does not mean it will be valid to level 63. Bioware will want to "reset" the gear grind at 55 so people will have a new carrot to chase. This can be achieved by giving elite war hero quality (grade 27, item level 63) gear from 50 to 55 quests. Also, in PvP, balance is paramount, thus there needs to be a max level only bracket.

    Level 55 in WZ's

Level 10 - 54 bracket, bolstered to level 54 with War Hero gear stats. Level 55 bracket, Elite War Hero is the new Recruit set. There will be a new set (Conqueror?) to farm at 55.
  11. To be a bit creative about "run and gun" style of an ability: Steady Assault (toggle-able "stance" or maybe gunnery specific ammo, making choice between ammo regen and mobility): Reduces your movement speed to '70%' of normal, but makes you completely immune to slows, roots and interrupts and makes you able to cast on the move.
  12. MMOs are for the most part very CPU-bound and SWTOR is no different. So if you have the money, get an i7 over an i5.
  13. Insight killed Warlord Kephess on Nightmare mode, thus clearing Explosive Conflict, again. Corpse of Warlord Kephess
  14. Insight destroyed Stormcaller & Firebrand and killed Colonel Vorgath on nightmare difficulty in Explosive Conflict. Twin Tanks Minefield
  15. Insight killed Toth&Zorn on nightmare mode some hours ago. http://i.imgur.com/d8jE9.jpg We also cleared hard mode Terror from Beyond some time ago.
  16. Insight is an end-game focused guild on the Republic side of the Progenitor. We are a group of determined players who want to tackle the hardest possible challenges available. Current open spots: Last update: 16th of April, 2013 Progression group: Closed Second ops group: One healer of any class Player vs Player: Open (all jobs) We always consider exceptional applications even if we are not actively recruiting. We recruit based on player skills and personality. Insight's Old Republic Operations End game PvE operations are our top priority. We currently raid three times per week (from 20 to 23 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays), with more raids during progression. We expect our members to have deep knowledge of their own class and the challenges they are facing, but we do not expect them to spend every waking minute in the game. However we would like to see each operation member be able to attend every operation each week. We also have a handful of people who are serious about PvP. We do play together from time to time and team up with other guilds for rated and non-rated PvP action. While we are not a role-playing guild, we do expect all our members to respect the rules of the server. We do encourage everyone to role-play and attend events should such opportunities arise. We also have activity in other games, such as World of Warcraft and often play online multiplayer games with each other. Contact Info If you have any questions, whisper one of our officers in game. The current officers are Resh'dayn and Verne. For more information and application form, visit our web site at insight.enjin.com.
  17. I wouldn't mind the grind if recruit geared people only faced other recruit geared people.
  18. I would like to see some "legacy Battlemaster's gear". Requires legacy level 15 or higher and valor rank 70 or higher. Gets you Battlemaster gear you can buy with creds and send to alts.
  19. Target markers should just be removed from the target once it dies.
  20. Adaptive gear means that previously light armor only social gear now scales to medium and heavy armor depending what is you maximum skill. For Trooper, it means that all social gear is heavy armor. It has no effect on any other armor.
  21. It doesn't really matter if you go for Aim or Power. Power is very slightly better, but in the end it probably won't make a difference if you have Aim augment instead of Power.
  22. Well, there are always some choices you can make when it comes skill specialization. I would take Steady Hands over Weapon Calibrations myself and Treated Wound Dressings over Med Zone. A pushback at the wrong time can be devastating and less threat done is always nice (especially if the encounter includes adds spawning from thin air). I also see constant 4% damage reduction superior to +20% healing received when reactive shield is up. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800ZrfR0RdcdkqZrck.2 That's the build I've used forever and it's great for pretty much every situation from levelling to operations to war zones.
  23. You can use Recruit as fresh 50 gear until you can replace it with Tionese and Columi. You can use Battlemaster gear to fill in slots without Columi or better. So Recruit -> Tionese -> Battlemaster -> Columi -> Rakata -> Campaign.
  24. Expertise is a PvP only stat. The PvE gear progression is Tionese -> Columi -> Rakata -> Black Hole / Campaign The PvP gear progression is Recruit -> Battlemaster -> War Hero
  25. Mathematically, it all depends how much of the secondary stats you gain. For example, losing 40 aim to gain 60 power would be a definite upgrade. Also, you can just strip the Campaign cannon off its mods and put them to an augmented cannon to keep the augment bonus.
