  1. Excuse me, but Twilight is very...imaginative. Nothing wrong with it. Even though I hate it with my every being. You know what we should do. Star Wars fans and Star Trek fans (of which I happen to be both), should unite to wipe those dumb wolves and vampires off of the face of the earth!
  2. Well, if they are working on something, then the only answer they can give is "we're working on it." Honestly, its the same thing with some people. You rush Bioware to release the game. Then, you're upset because some features were excluded from launch. Now, you're rushing again. Honestly, at this rate, patch 1.2 will have everything except for the patch.
  3. That's really good to see. I may be able to get a few group quests done.
  4. You've basically repeated what I was saying. :-) While those shows are impossible as well, they still make more of an attempt to be realistic than Star Wars does. Those shows have limits that are clearly defined within their universes. Star Wars does not. Anything is possible in Star Wars.
  5. Like others have said, it's unfair to try and compare SW with ME. ME is bound by attempts to at least be realistic. SW is not. SW is basically fantasy with some sci-fi elements mixed in. For all we know, they could just imagine a new technology and it'll just poof into their labs. The technology in SW constantly goes against just about every universal law in existence.
  6. Actually, studies have shown that snacking and eating small meals every few hours instead of eating normal meals 3 times a day is an effective way of losing weight since its maintains a constant supply of energy and discourages your from eating more in one meal. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/29183790/ns/today-today_health/t/pig-out-drop-pounds-snacking/#.T0BKxbyF9PE Anyways, I've never really snacked while gaming. I usually keep a bottle of water, but never any food. Snacks tend to get into my keyboard, so I avoid it. The last time I snacked at my computer, I would hear crunching sounds every time I pressed a key. Or maybe I'm messy. I imagine that if I did snack, it'd be something like carrots. Love carrots.
  7. Many games have these items. They are called "junk items." You use them for nothing but extra credits. Sell them to any vendor for a few hundred credits. Or delete them. That's about it. You can also send your companions off to sell them for you if you're far away from a vendor and need to free up space in your inventory.
  8. I play on various times of the day. I don't really have a set time that I play since I'm in school, so I just play whenever I have the chance. I'll admit, though, that today my server had a Standard load and i was able to do some Flashpoints/Heroics, so that's a plus.
  9. If anything, IMO, games are a great tool for storytelling. Since you're controlling the main character and moving the story forward, you're a part of that story instead of being on the outside looking in.
  10. Wow. I really was hoping to avoid any major spoilers. I'm gonna go bash that from my memory now.
  11. So, most of the quests on Taris dealt with attempting to resettle the planet, but with the rakghouls, nexu, and other mutated wildlife, it just seems a nut...pointless. Should the Republic just consider Taris a lost cause and use the money for, say, the war against the Empire? I think they should. I mean, it's been 300 years and progress has been minimal.
  12. They really do need to do some merges. There are 125 servers for the US alone, and only 5 of them ever reach standard. The community is spread out much too thin. The server I play on rarely, if ever, reaches 100 users.
  13. Teeseven (who is awesome) hasn't teamed up with me in a while. I've been using Kira lately. If you don't like Teeseven, don't use Teeseven. I never would have compared the game to Power Rangers (which was awesome). If anything, I would have compared it to Star Wars. Because, you know, it is.
  14. I love this feature as well. It reminds me of Mass Effect 2 where certain NPCs that you interact with would send you an email giving you an update on what's going on around them.
  15. Do I enjoy SWTOR in its current state? Yes. Do I see room for improvement? Of course I do. Any game will have room for improvement. If development were to stop, I'd be highly disappointed.
  16. Yes. I was playing KotOR yesterday and got to play the swoop race minigame. I loved it. I would definitely play that one a lot. And holo-chess is always a welcome addition for me. I'd love to see Pazaak as well, though I wouldn't play it much. I get frustrated with that game. Blew about 500 credits in kotor so that I could finally beat that guy in the cantina.
  17. My only problem with the one you put at number 4. I had the iPhone security key app (because I'm too cheap to pay $4 on a physical key). Lo and behold, my iPhone went mad and I had to restore it. While the app was still on the phone, it had erased the settings, etc. Basically, I was locked out and had to call in to get it reset. I'm holding out on the key until my physical key comes in. But, whenever an extra layer of security (especially during this time of self-righteous hackers and Internet "freedom fighters") it's really important to try to keep you account as safe as possible. Use the extra measures that you've been given. Don't disregard them because of some minor conveniences.
  18. I think he was right to say that. Sure, it's not worded as sugary as you'd like, but the guy has had to say the same thing over and over again. Stop bothering him about EGA. You'll get in when you get in...IF you even preordered. This is a really busy time what with the game launching, trying to make sure everything goes smoothly, etc. He doesn't have time to have to deal with people who are too impatient to wait for an email.
