  1. I'm hardly an MMO veteran but when I play PvP I tend to find my matches are pretty balanced and fair. If I die I'm always able to accept that its down to my inexperience with my class and playing PvP in MMOs. I can also accept that there are players who play this game far more than I do and know how to spec their chosen character to give them the best advantage in PvP and have far more experience with assuming a specific role, whether it be a tank, healer or whatever.
  2. Having mini games in areas like cantinas will allow players to congregate together in one area between quests. It will allow for more social interactions like trading, organising groups for Flashpoints and recruiting for Guilds. Occasionally questing can feel like a chore so rather than having players log out when they get bored it would be nice to have these games as a welcome distraction. The KOTOR games had Pazaak and Swoop Bikes so why shouldn't this game have it? You could gamble with other players for credits, commendations and PvP gear. I think they would be extremely popular.
  3. I've seen a lot of "clues" in game that would suggest it may be coming anyway!
  4. There have been loads of posts requesting these. I created one myself here, also suggesting swoop bike races as well as the games you mentioned: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=297715
  5. I heard my companion say I have Sabaac face but he hates Sabaac. I've also noticed a huge area on Nar Shaddaa with Sabaac and Pazaak tables as well as computer terminals, unfortunately its useless at the moment because you cant do anything with them but I think Bioware are teasing us with this and are planning on bringing all this in fairly soon.
  6. When I bought this game on release day I logged onto Chuundar server and had to wait in a queue as the population was very heavy and continued to be like that for a good few weeks afterwards. Now its population is one of the lightest of all the European servers and as we don't have character migration I cant change to a more populated one. I fear the release of WoW: Mists Of Pandaria and Guild Wars 2 as I believe that most current players will leave to play these when they come out and SWTOR will be deserted.
  7. Theres several of these Pazaak threads floating about. Unfortunately they seem to be lost in a sea of far less important threads lol!
  8. I noticed a large open area on the Promenade on Nar Shaddaa that had loads of Pazaak tables and computer terminals. Also I know Nar Shaddaa has a casino. Might be just wishful thinking but it looks promising!
  9. Dejarik is the game you are referring to. It was in Star Wars Galaxies and KOTOR 2.
  10. Its a great game. Buy a bottle of wine (or beer) tonight, log into a Standard or Heavy server, chill out and play until your arms drop off, thats what I did and still do.......I'm actually typing with my nose!
  11. I play as a Sith Sorcerer and my mate plays as an Sith Assassin (both advanced Inquisitor classes) and together we make a pretty formidable team!
  12. I'm currently finding it hard to get a decent amount of credits in SWTOR. I'm level 19 Sith Sorceror and only have 6k. I'm finding that class trainers abilities seem to be more expensive as you level up and sending companions off on skill quests can soon mount up so I never bother with them. Is there any way of gaining funds more quickly than grinding through enemies and selling the grey items you loot from them?
  13. I've noticed Dejarik and Pazaak tables in some cantinas already but you cant interact with them unfortunately.
  14. Are there any european servers that have a lot of players? I'm starting to wonder if I'm playing an MMO or a single player RPG at the moment!
  15. When I started playing this game on early access the servers were bursting with players, you had to queue to get into some of them. You had to race to kill enemies and complete objectives at the start as about 10 other players were doing the same thing. What happened? I didn't bother to activate my game when early access expired as I had Skyrim but I've come back to SWTOR now with my lvl 26 Jedi Shadow and now I'm lucky if I see 2 players in any one area at the same time and when I checked the player counter in the top left of my screen last night there were only 11 players on Tatooine! Where is everyone?
