I think I'm helping people out, I wanted this game to succeed as much as any one else.
Bioware's arrogance is not helping any one in this game, I wish it was not the way it is but it's obvious that most servers are doomed to fail and transfers will be the final blow. Then there is the stack of other things that I wont mention..

Not fanboy, troll. Simple facts. If everquest had 10 million and warcraft only had 1 mill, I'd have said Everquest. I was simply correcting the OPs misinformation.
I was one of the ones hoping SWTOR would do well but it really isnt doing well at all. I can go hours on my server and not see another soul.
But you giving your truthful and honest opinion about your experience inflames the fanbois.

I think it's fair to say that BW has botched this project.
I doubt I'll log in more than 1 day for "1.2" which is more like a hot fix lmao

JO: No, we’re not going to. Merging servers is not something we are looking at. We have a very healthy game right now, so that is not something we are looking at in the near future. We're always going to look at ways to make sure a server is healthy. There are a whole bunch of different ways you can do that. We're discussing them. We want to make sure players feel like there are enough players on their server to play with.
So Re-roll or roll out.

I'm having tons of fun. The transition to end-game was difficult for me; I've never made it to top level in an MMO before, so I really didn't know what to do. I have since figured it out and enjoy pimping out my Bounty Hunter while raising up a few alts. I'm really excited for 1.2 and future releases.
PS. my wife loves it too, and she's never really played an MMO before at all.
Truth is this game was made for people like this, it's good business. SWTOR is more of a single player game with multi-player PvP.

yep, just saw that. I was surprised to not see 100 of these threads up.
It's not that exciting tbh, I'm going to try it out but I pre-ordered GW2 and feel more excited about that tbh. If this game is better than GW2 than I will re-sub here but for right now it remains to be seen.

I played the GW2 beta, the game sucks balls. People are raving over the pvp in that game but it's terrible. talk about unskilled and terrible combat mechanics. Stick to star wars, it's miles better
Well I pre-ordered GW2 so I will try their pre-order beta and see for myself.
If that's the case I can always re-sub here, my sever is a ghost town anyway.

Ohhhh boy. I like your enthusiasm but this thread could turn ugly very quickly. You just insulted two games that so many people around here seem to believe are both the second coming of the MMO world. I agree with your assessments of Tera and GW2 having had the chance to try them out but just as some advice next time try to say it in a way that doesn't sound like "eff the rest of you".
No he's allowed to have his opinion like every one else. I'm sure the majority of people like GW2 though.

The part on the video where they ask:
"If you could go back in time, would you have played on a different server"
That part made me wish i could pimp-slap everyone in BW. I have a bunch of toons on my server and my entire guild quit the game along with more than half my server. Nice thing you guys are doing and I wish you luck but I'm not going through all that trouble again. It would be nice if BW offered us something to look forward to like free transfers or a way to transfer and combine my legacies from different servers but that wont happen.
To answer the question, If I could go back in time I would never have spent a dime on anything this company touches..

Well I know I wont be re-rolling no matter what, i have 2 50s and a bunch of alts so the list of reasons why to NOT re-sub continues to grow. Tuesday I'm pre-ordering GW2 and I'm sure I wont be worried about SWTOR one bit once I'm Playing D3 may 15th and playing GW2 beta sometime this summer. It's sad really but seriously, even Aion was better than this crap lol.

Yeah but I believe that merges would have been better cause at this point it's clear SWTOR is no WoW killer. Why not try to help create a solid community on a few servers and then send out all the F2P passes?
It would guarantee a decent experience for most players rather than the lame experience everyone is having. First impressions are hard to get over..

Agreed but I think they want to charge people for transfers rather than merge servers.
I know I would not have canceled my sub if they had merged by now but 1.2 being so lame and Legacy is so ridiculous with smugglers force choking etc that there is just too much fail to get over it all and pay a sub.
SWTOR... 33% off barely 4 months into release.

I'm not the OP but this is not just about the discount, the game is failing regardless.
The only people that don't see it are the people on The Fatman, Swifture and like 2 other servers..
