Also... my main is a tank and I enjoy playing him alot and its my favorite role by far. BUT some nights, you just feel like raiding and not having the pressure, or your watching a movie on the sides, or you want to have a few beers while playing, then I play DPS... if I make a 3 seconds mistake as a DPS who will know? or who will even care? Some fights are so easy with DPS we just burn up the boss and I am having a discussion with someone in RL pressing one button... It feels like most of the tricky mechanics end up being the tanks job, not all, but most. Healing is half way in between, IMO, but healers get more love, since you see their name in big green letters whilke they are saving your *****. When the tank does well, its a good team effort, but when the tank ****s up its his fault, Im a hockey goalie in RL and it kinds of feels the same way lol.

I agree with you, but I would like one more skill for taunts. There is nothing as frustrating when both of em are on cooldown and you hear someone getting hit. Sorry but you will have to wait 18 seconds...

I dont understand why they are not doing this. The content is there, it only needs to be adjusted. That you like an FP and not another one is irrelevant. They should just all be available for HM.

I have been enjoying this game since launch and still loving it. I had afew disapointments here and there, but nothing major. I simply wont be able to go back to a game without a decent story, I tried GW2 like many people, I saw one dialogue with "my super virtuous american paladin sounding dude" and I never played again. I played lotro for years before this, and I would like to see a couple of their features copied: the Open world PVP there is great ( The Moors) and I prefer their shop where I can buy what I want without the random packs. Still, Swtor is my home now for many years to come.

I am waiting for it to get to 500k, then maybe Ill get it.

People want a sandbox? Nothing stops them from creating a sandbox planet. Open world pvp? I dont see how hard it can honestly be, I look at lotro that has a open world pvp that has entertained people for years. Just copy paste that model in swtor version.

Your not "forced" to get HK, yea thats true but cmon give these guys a break, they are not forced but they have been awaiting HK like everyone else. You cant expect to say : "hey lets go farm holocrons tonight and will get Hk in 2 weeks.". Just know this, usually griefers are compensating for a bad situation in RL and they need something to feel stronger, probably they were born with a really small *%*#& and that makes them angry, its not theire fault, so give em their little moment of glory, at least they are not acting out in rl. Maybe you can wait until people get bored from it. Outlaw Den will be a ghost town soon enough. I agree If they want to promote open pvp they should do something else, like giving pvp comms when you kill someone in an open pvp?

I dont think they should have used HK to promote the outlaw den. Compagnions are only used for pve anyway, so it should come to no surprise that some of the pve only players end up in a unwanted pvp situation. I understand that... now to make this an issue worth quitting I think is either: -a complete exageration out of a moment of frustration. or -a lie. or -a display of immaturity. Its like the girl who dumps you because you did not pick up your socks, chances are she was going to leave first chance/pretext she gets, so good riddance. For those who want to look at alternatives, if your Ebon Hawk Imp side, tonight I will be there running people with my guild, send Mateops a whisper and we will escort any PVEer that wants to for free. The friendly atmosphere did not leave when people left, those of us that stayed got along.

I think this is very expensive. But hey you can try to get what you want from it. It wont stay rare for long, if someone is ready to pay 10 mil and up to look different for a week or two then go for it. How long can you hold on to it before it becomes bound? 3 days? If thats the case then either you will have to lower your price or be the different looking one. Good luck

I have seen people putting down romances on most games that have the option. And seriously, while I have no scientific proof to my theory, I believe it is unhappy people that indulge in romance slamming. It probably makes them feel superior and makes them forget that deep down inside they feel helpless and unloved. Like I said I cant prove that, but its my gut feeling. I know in RL I have had quite a career as a romancer, so the "get a girl in RL" is not a valid point. because I already have one. Thing is she is not blue or a drow. Having that opportunity in games give me chance to act out a fantasy. I know I have been a in game romancer since Aeri broke my heart because I slept with her too quickly. The fact that it is fade to black is not a bad thing either, just like when your reading, what you dont actually see can have a powerfull impact on your imagination. The thruth of the matter is you cannot deny that in every Epic fantasy or sci-fi story I can think of, there was a romance, SW, lotr etc. you name it, there was romance. Because when face with death and danger, your emotions are higher, life burns harder inside you. Its a instinctive thing. I know I would never go tank a huge foe in real life and throw my life away for any country or religion or anything. But for a girl I love, I would charge that thing and give it all I got. Now finally for the less romances for girls I agree, I believe in time this will change and you will get more equal treatment (I mean in games in general) but things take time to evolve, when I was younger finding a girl gamer was near impossible, that was just the way it was, it changed and the games will adapt I am sure. Until then you can always come to my cantina and ERP with me (I got all sorts of sexy aliens for you)...

I liked your post, I heal Imp side, usually with my guild so I dont have bad surprises. The thing I find the most difficult with healing is Boss fights that require other side work, I get very concentrated on those health bars and then I have to move etc. Still, healing is fun

1 year from f2p, thats what I think. I hope you are right but I am 99% sure by mid december they will still be dealing with f2p matters. New content every 6 weeks will be small stuff most of the time, paint jobs etc. A paid expansion... is very unlikely, they invested too much money and got so little in return yet. They probably cant afford any more of those grandiose voice over projects. Sad but probably true.

The game itself was years late. Some people were saying the usual: "id rather have them give us a polished and finished product take your time, have another year!". Everytime they took an "extension" people hope went up. To the point where its impossible for them to keep up with the expectations they help create. Comments like this are irresponsible, but I guess in an environement where you can get fired anytime, why not go for the hail mary right? As for bugs well I havent seen any really big bugs since launch (except f*ing Soa), about one month ago oh boy the bugs found me. The WZ queue breaks etc. I really hope this turns around, and I believe they can do it; the big question is can they do it in time...and so far since day 1 swtor was announced, time was not their strong point.

That is my experience with this server also, whatever your into, you can find others. You can have your occasional smart ***** on the general chat but thats anywhere really...overall its a very decent server. When my guild was forced to relocate here, at first I was upset but it did not take me long to warm up to it.
