  4. ________________ Summary: A post story add-on story intended to be sold for cartel points. This story includes 3 chapters and focuses on the character acting a Military commander. ______________________ Starting off: The character is first given the rank of Lieutenant and assigned a small command a mix of republic and resistance fighters on Balmorra. The character fights along side her/his troops but directs them as well through dialog options. Options such as attack, take defensive position or move to the flanks. The player starts out with just 3 squads which are each commanded by talking to the squad leader. _____ As the Character progresses, which happens quite quickly- The player will reach the Colonel rank ( by end of first chapter) and be assigned their own lieutenant. This lieutenant is a companion but he has his own special crew missions, as he is able to send orders to units under your command and send them on crew missions for credits an commendations. ________________________________________________ Progression of command: While the amount of troops under your command increases with rank, special units maybe purchased through credits and commendations. units are also locked according to rank and according to rank the number of units you can have is capped. Units additionally have a quality which ranges from Weak to Strong to Elite to Champion. Examples of units bought through commendations: Basic Infantry: weak /strong or elite Assault team strong/elite or champion Ambush team: weak/strong or elite Sniper team: strong/elite/champion Combat engineers ( bunker in placements) weak/strong/elite or champion Walkers: Elite or Champion ______________________________________ By the rank of colonel the player switches to General mode of command and in addition to fighting along troops has options to plan defense or assault strategy through a simple interface at the beginning of each missions and can tweak her/his strategy on the ground by talking to crew chiefs and squad leaders. Additionally, the character may dispatch her/his companions as special units on the battle field and they always elites or champions. Some like Doc serve as a combat doctor and reduces casualties from units cut down on the battle field. ______ The rank of general happens at the end of 2nd chapter/ start of third chapter and will require the player to manage some times multiple front battles which emulate the increase in responsibility of rank and command. ___

  6. At level 10 we pick advanced classes- So I am suggesting here that at 50 there be an Option to pick a Master/Darth Class choice with specialized saber styles and skills. Every class should have 2 Options with in common for their Basic class. Example: Jedi Knight: Jedi Guardian ----- Long Saber Mastery ( skills and a light saber with a longer blade 1.5x) \ "Le-cho-form " a bare handed force martial arts style specializing in fighting saber wielders / Jedi Knight: Jedi Sentinel ----- Blade Dancer ( a Mastery of Dual saber martial arts) ________________________________________________________________________________________ Jedi Consular: Jedi Sage ----- Force Sabers ( skill set controlling 3 sabers with the force ( like Darth Treya) ) \ Force storm ( a style that specializes in AOE attacks ) / Jedi Consular: Jedi Shadow ----- Typhoon saber style. ( The speed at which they move allows them to use short distance saber throws with extreme speed and accuracy) _________________________________________________________________________________________ Smuggler classes get: Sneaking ( healer class) Bow caster ( in common) or sub machine guns ( dual wielders) _________________________________________________________________________________________ Commandos: "Something" - Very Heavy Armor ( in common ) "Something"

  9. Yes I would imagine that attributes will be assigned independently of the color at the creation of the crystal. In other words you will pick the attributes you want than the color. As for the black+ color crystals, it depends on how most people will want to treat black on color.... You can either make it remain a special gear color, or you can have it just be a a very expensive high tier crystal.... the color of your weapons should be a preference first and fore most so you can either set it up like a Dye system ( which I would prefer) or you can make it a specialty gear like it is now and Bind on pick up- like it is now.

  11. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Introduction Hi there, this is a attempt to suggest an Alternative way to do crafting in general but I am focusing specifically on color crystals for this post. The reason being is that color cystals where the core of my thinking for writing this, how ever it is my hope that these ideas will encourage new ideas to strengthen crafting all together! There is a link to a sample of what the new crafting GUI might look like. Don't forget to comment and share your thoughts, please don't post one liners like "never gonna happen" try to be thoughtful with your reply. Thank you ________________________________________________________________________________________ The idea behind this is that Color crystals should be both no big deal and yet, a very big deal at the same time. Currently we are Limited to the following colors: Standard Colors: Red Blue Green Yellow Special colors: Magenta & Organge ( end game ) Purple ( pvp) Light blue ( ? ) White: ( Only seen it in game a couple of times) Under my model you would have about 16,000 colors to chose from. How ever, there is a catch! The new crystals would be called "Custom color crystals" ( original right?) and as the color highlight implies. Only Artifact level crystals will be eligible for Custom color. Premium and Prototype will remain confined to Standard colors. The catch is that the Custom colors use a combination of R.B.G and for some colors, Yellow also. and they can use Alot of them depending the crystal color. In addition Artifact quality materials will be required to make the custom color crystals. Thus making them very expensive to make but also highly individualized as such a wide array of color should definitely satisfy a desire for more customization in the game. This will also add money making potential to Artifice crafting. Where as currently the schematic controls both color and attributes. The new system will have Color "as a given" and Schematics will control attributes such as Endurance,Critical rating, Power, Expertise...etc..etc _________________________________________________________________________________________ Quality of materials in the new system _________________________________________________________________________________________ Would be regulated based on the Attributes your assigning to the crystal. So for example: Assigning attributes like +4 endurance ( Tier 1 artifact quality) would have the crystal demanding Tier 1 materials to make. _________________________________________________________________________________________ "Special" crystals under the new system _________________________________________________________________________________________ Well, we still need something to be an exclusive status symbol right? so lets change the shape of the blades for special items: PvP special: Burning blade ( schematic drops from grade 6 pvp box?) ---- The color plasma of the blade is unstable and sheds away from the blade giving the appearance of being on fire. PvE special: Miraka blade ( just made it up) ----- The blade is highly focused and thiner than a normal blade, which causes the optical illusion of the blade having a curve. ( it looks like a Katana) Special event: to those people with special colors that aren't available any more you can make some sore of exclusive color crystal only they have access too... maybe a rainbow color effect on the blade? _________________________________________________________________________________________ Black + Color crystals _________________________________________________________________________________________ I honestly think these are silly, but obviously some people really like them - so you can add a special crafting material into the mix to enable Black + color or you can just have them drop from boxes. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Buying a custom color blade _________________________________________________________________________________________ Crtl+ right click on a custom color blade will give you a sample of the blade color. the same way Crtrl+ right click will let you sample armor appearance.
  12. Additionally... I do possess some basic understanding of coding. So to you Whining *****es who can't do anything when a complaint comes around, except tear into a person for posting it. There is something called "The pretense of knowledge" which is a fancy way of saying your an arrogant **** who just assumes he/she knows a persons background from 1 post.
