  1. Still with the zombies BW? Really? Did I miss something somewhere? I didn't real that Raccoon City was in a galaxy far, far away.
  2. I'm using the shield. I actually notice it firing quite a bit in PvP. I know its only on white damage attacks, but it still pretty cool to see it fire along with your deflect. I mainly use the shield and the survivor's main hand to boost my endurance over 18k unbuffed. Check out Powerr's guide to shadow tank pvp: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=225827
  3. This. Yup...and with FP, its your nuke. With ST now building stacks of HS (which last 30 seconds) I find myself having it available a lot more. I love the feel of the KC shadow even more now. It makes it feel as though you can weave melee in between your kick *** force abilities, which is the way I think the Devs originally designed the class. EDIT: Yeah sorry, didn't catch the "dps" portion of your post. I cannot speak to that, but its a must in a tank build.

  5. Indeed. I wish Tumult could be used in PVP. That would truly give the shadow/assassin a Darth Maul type feel when used in conjunction with SK. It certainly looks cool in PVE.
  6. Thanks Powerr! I love this spec. The utility is just awesome playing this way. A couple questions though: 1. Why the shield as your offhand? Is it purely for the endurance? I was under the impression shields are broke for PvP (except for white damage). I find myself using a focus and ignoring KW all together for this reason. 2. Do you have specific key binds for this build? If so, can you please post them? Thanks man!
  7. I like the change. I played the 23/18 spec quite a bit and found it hard to keep track of my free MC, so I was looking to drop it anyway. Instalift is all I miss, but I've been critting 1300 to 1500 (in crap gear) on 5 targets with ST and get a snare/debuff. Loving it atm. For whatever reason I find it easier to keep track of the Harnessed Shadow procs than the free MC procs. Probably because I know its guaranteed after 3 and I just keep count as I go. Now if they would just fix the Force Potency bug, I would have no complaints and not miss insta force lift at all.
  8. I've been playing full KC spec (with upheaval) and I must say....I like it. At times though I wish ST worked more like FiB so I can drop it on crowds from afar, but over all I think it works pretty damn nice for pvp. I've even had it hit 5 targets for 1300 (with 2 killing blows) which made my day (my gear is kinda crappy atm). Got 9 medals while not guarding a post and had 191k damage.
  9. Thanks Darth, That link cleared it up. Its broke. Take the DPS gear even if you are a tank. Can't wait till dual spec makes it in game.
  10. Yeah, I've been reading up on defense on the pvp thread (which I guess is where I should have started) and found that defense is only for the "white damage" attacks as well. Looks like I have the same survival chance as an infiltrator minus the burst. I do LOVE the utility of KC though.
  11. Because they only block "white damage", weapon only attacks. They are useless against force and tech attacks.
