i could see this as a fair compromise. Even if they dropped the rewards for the pvp dailies a little to compensate. The only problem is that those lazy players that were dropping out of pvp whenever they started to lose would now just be afk'ing...

As of now i would say ill definitely be hanging around. I think the march content update could make or break that though. Honestly as long as they keep supporting it they will have my 15 a month.

actually the it would effect your pvp quite a bit. You want Republic to play warzones, and you should want there to be more republic players as well. The only reason why you are playing huttball nonstop is because the faction imbalance is such that there are so many more imps queuing than republic that most of you never even see us.

I dont understand these threads.... I play republic and on my server we win as many warzones as we lose, and ive gone days where i didnt lose at all. It might be because people are too focused on winning the match to QQ about how powerful the other team is... No joke, we won a game of huttball last night in which 2 of our ops members were deliberately running the ball to our own side and just letting the imps kill them so they could have the ball. Even with that nonsense going on we managed to pull a victory.

I went through that in WoW as well. I dont think there is anything wrong with it, you just kind of have to find which class suits you best.

Lol he wasnt offering to make a guide or anything. Google is a wonderful tool. You can find tons of guides for just about anything you could want to learn. I built my computer for this game, and i did it with absolutely no previous experience. I just watched some youtube videos, read a few guides, and that was it. Honestly not trying to dump on you man, but seriously the guy was just making a suggestion about looking into overclocking as a solution to a common problem.

There is nothing stopping pug groups from using guard effectively. This is an MMO, try talking with the group before the match starts, ask one of the tanks for a guard if you think its so important.

Ive had the opposite problem in my experience... I outlevel and end up just rushing through my class stuff so that i can move onto the next planet. However i am also doing all of the heroics, a few warzones, and daily space missions as well. I also try to do a flashpoint whenever i can get a guild run together. Edit: When i say "rushing through my class stuff" i dont really mean rushing, i meant more like skipping everything else so that i can continue my class plot.

Im on Vrook Lamar (west coast, RP-PvE) Im on republic side, and there is occasionally some trolling in general, but it doesnt get out of hand. People are definitely willing to help eachother out most of the time.

I had this problem as well. I had to reset the mission to fix it. fortunately it doesnt reset the entire instance, it just sets you back to where you have to have the opening dialogue again (and the fight obviously.)

I really like the legacy name as RealID type function idea. SWTOR needs some kind of functionality similar to RealID especially since the game is so alt friendly.

no sarcasm. Im just tired of reading posts by haters. Honestly say what you will about any other aspect of the game, but i think that the PVE is fantastic. I enjoy pvp (i dont in other mmo's) I really like the crew skills system. I think that we need some work done on tanking mechanics especially in the UI department. Like i said, the game is far from perfect, I just happen to have much more fun than frustration with it.

I just wanted to take the time to thank Bioware for crafting such a great experience. I just got done running a couple flashpoints with friends, and I cant say enough how much fun they were. My wife is in the military, so a move around a bit and i dont really get a chance to make close friends with people before we move again. This makes the time i get to spend with my close friends back home all that much more important. Say what you will about the bugs, and patch issues etc, I can personally say that my experience with SWTOR has been excellent! Of course there are bugs, and mechanics that could be smoothed out, but playing through the story and doing flashpoints with friends has been an incredible experience. This might seem like a pointless thread, i guess it is... but I figured with all of the threads there are with people raging about one broken aspect of the game or another, all the threats to unsub etc, i would take the time to post that my friends and i are enjoying the game immensely from Soloing to flashpoints to warzones. not even close sir. I was in the preorder leak thread the night preorders went live and that had over 400 pages. Im not even sure that that was the longest thread.

Now i keep seeing this argument and i have to ask... Keeping in mind that i dont have a level 50 and have never been to illum. Isnt it possible that those turrets were supposed to be the thing that insta kills players from the opposite faction? I mean why else would they die when they enter?

HA. i think you are a little optimistic... Lets be honest here, i doubt even a quarter of the people who threaten to unsub actually do it. And im sure the most of the ones that do will be back shortly.

While i dont think that they did anything wrong, for the sake of preserving the end game pvp experience any players that gained an unrealistic amount of valor today should have some kind of action taken. Not a punishment, just an adjustment. If they are allowed to keep all the gear and valor they "earned" today it would throw off the balance of pvp for a considerable amount of time. There is no way to make everyone happy in this situation, but there is a way to preserve the balance of the Endgame pvp scene, and that is to take away the valor and gear gained by those who exploited Illum today.

lol i understand you are upset, but making up numbers and threatening to threaten to cancel your sub is not really going to help. They have said that they are looking into the exploit and how to deal with it. that should be enough i think.
