  1. <Element Zero> are now 4/5 TfB story. Will update again on Sunday after next raid. Also could someone confirm, I believe Regret has disbanded in swtor. If you wanna remove them, or leave it, but maybe put a note so ppl don't try applying to them etc.
  2. I don't think have different alts in different guilds is a big deal, but I prefer having them all in one. It's all about building acommunity makes the game like twice as fun. And unless the guild disbands or really stops delivering what I want (raids or PvP whatever) then I usually stick with a guild for as long as possible.
  3. Probably not a bug. Was reported several times on PTS. If Im not mistaken it's attempting to keep Storymode nice and casual but in return also keeping the rewards light. It's also likely to make sure people keep using the Group Finder to farm BH comms as well as making sure nobody can gather BH comms too quickly. No proof to support this, just an educated guess.
  4. They're staggering releases now. Instead of one patch every 3-6 month's it'll be several smaller ones every 6-8 weeks. So maybe the WZ will be next in Nov and the flashpoint. And then and event is planned for January too. I imagine Makeb and Cathar will come after that.

  6. Yep this is my guess too. Supposedly a dev mentioned that they might not be able to fix the bug on the last boss of TfB before it goes live. Which suggested it will either take a long time to fix, or the patch it getting deployed either way sometime very soon. In the end the bug did get fixed. They also mentioned that theyre working on trying to improve the fps issues due to the new shadows that some have complained about. So yeah, I agree with your last point. They probably didn't want to (or maybe didnt need to) do a maintenance this Tuesday knowing that they're pushing to release 1.4 this week also (requiring another downtime). So there's a good chance they'll announce a Thursday maintenance + deployment of 1.4 or something. Either that or nobody's there to do the weekly maintenance cause they all booked a day off to play MoP jk ofc...kinda

  9. The method you described seems amazing if not a bit overboard. Will the single healer be able to deal with the amount of damage against Vorgath and the turrets at the end? Otherwise I don't really understand the issue. I've never done it with 5 droids because it always enraged and we always died. However I've also never done it with only 3 droids, because I've never been that lucky. I was under the impression that clearing it using 4 probe droids was the norm. And if your dps is as high as you say it is, following the method you described you should have no problems whatsoever clearing the minefield. My only tiny tip that you didn't mention but probably already know, is to start calling the next probe droid while the yellow mine is being defused. Although it has been known to bug in the past, from what I can see as long as the mine is completely defused before the tower guy finishes casting calling the probe droid he won't bug out on the field.
  10. Just chiming in to say, tanking is great in this game. Trash tanking isn't that fun, but with the increase to aoe threat made a lot more manageable. The trash in the new Op is a bit more fun too. The way taunting works might want to be reworked in future as except for use of bosses dropping threat, threat becomes pretty trivial after the first 30-60seconds on a single mob or boss. It definitely doesn't need more dumbing down. It's challenging enough to be fun and strategic but not too easy as to just be a walking meat shield who just stands there doing nothing. As for PvP I think tanks are decent there too tbh. They're great for defending objectives, staying alive until backup arrives, and fantastic in huttball. Aswell as being very useful with guard and taunts to protect allies and reduce damage. I'm not saying they couldn't be tweaked a bit...but to say tanking sucks is a gross exaggeration.
  11. Apparently some choices seemed to make a much bigger difference back in beta but was changed due to player feedback of not actually liking the finality of certain choices such as killing companions.
  12. Although we are still recruiting, we've brought in a new Jugg and Merc DPS as well as a Merc healer. Nonethless all exceptional applicants are welcome An Op healer and PT dps are currently most desired though
  13. That's because they're all stacking Endurance. I can see it being useful for an Assassin, but more than like 28k for a PT is a bit overboard, you lose too much mitigation. Sure time to kill increases but there's nothing in-game atm to warrant needed such a large TTK. I've said all I need to say in my last post about why Juggs are still very useful and others inc healers have said their piece, yet you're still unconvinced. As for why people prefer a PT or Assassin in their group...just like others mentioned, its because most people have had bad experience with Jugg. And why have most people had bad exp? Cause its a difficult class to play, but there's too many morons out there who can't play their class properly. I don't know about Assassins, they seem to have a lot of control, but speaking from a PT point if view...its such an easy class to play. You got like 6 main buttons and a few cooldowns. Since its so easy to play you're less likely to run into bad powertrchs.

  15. Everyone secretly wishes their class is the best despite claiming they just want it to be balanced End of the day, the dev quotes from that interview speak for themselves. First you thought PTs and Ssins had knockbacks, which we dont. Secondly, Sins have a pull, Juggs have a charge, PTs have both. Again I agree they may lack one or two utilities, but these are the things that make classes different. They are the most balanced though, and I genuinely do believe a great player playing a Jugg vs an equally great player playing a Sin or PT will perform just as well in most scenarios. And about HP. Cba explaining why some feel high HP is prefferred wheras others prefer achieving maximum mitigation, but for example, my main is a PT tank. Apart from Orange Belt and Bracers I'm pretty much BiS gear. I have 25k hp, 20.1% Defense, 54% Shield and 58% Absorb. Currently my spec has the Flame Burst and Rocket Punch talents chosen to produce higher damage and threat, and my gear is pretty balanced but favouring mitigation. Which is pretty much fine for farming current content. Prior to Terror from Beyond coming out, I plan to drop the extra damage talents to get the 3% Endurance (which is like 700 hp) and trading a couple of Augments or Enhancements to boost my buffed HP to about 27k. Going beyond that seems like too much of a loss in mitigation, even for progression content. Increasing the time-to-kill is great, but too far down any side of the spectrum is gonna be worse than balance. You said you have 26k HP, that's more than satisfactory. Stop worrying about the HP, I understand that looking at HP is often used as a measure of how well geared a tank is, but only a naive player would solely judge a player on their HP value. As for the tools, as I said, they have some. Look at your defensive cooldowns for example, Juggs are the ideal tanks for situations where heavy cooldowns are required to survive phases of extremely high damage (Think Toths Bezerk phase etc). They lack a CC, not a big deal. They lack a pull, something which is useful for trash in PvE but not very useful for boss-fights, which is what matters. They lack ranged damage, well that's just something you gotta deal with. As for PvP, yeah the pull is quite useful there, as are ranged attacks. But in return you have Guardian Leap or Intercede, a truly awesome skill in Huttball for example. Also useful in PvE and PvP such as getting out of an AoE by leaping to a teammate. Without sounding rude, you're focusing too much on your class' negatives without taking into account all of the class' positives. If you still refuse to see that your class is very useful, then I don't know what else to say other than roll an Assassin or PT then. Juggs could use a small tweak sure, but nothing major. They're quite close overall to the other two tank classes. And as I said before, tanks are most likely the most balanced classes in the game compared to the differences in DPS classes and Healers.

  17. You're misinformed, Juggs are the hardest to play tank, but in terms of performance they are pretty close to the others. Their high defense ratings and great defensive cooldowns can make them preferable in some fights. Also maybe I'm being silly but what pushback do powertechs have exactly? I'm struggling to think of it. Honestly, the tanks are the best balanced classes in this game. Imo anyways.

  19. Correct me if im wrong, there was some suggestion from a Dev for 'new places for players to hang out' on Makeb. Which sounded like a new hub to me. But that was a long time ago, plans could have drastically changed by now. Personally i'd like to see a new city on Makeb, shared between both factions, owned by Hutts or something (like Nar Shaddaa market district) with a direct shuttle to fleet to access Ops/Flashpoints but having everything else there, along with a duelling area
  20. I'm not usually one to assume things and jump to conclusions based on one quote, but I guessed 1.4 would be released either this week or next a while ago. Dyou reckon this kind of confirms it? Maybe we'll get more specific info in tonights livestream thing
  21. Well I have a few on my PT: 1. The usual yelling: "Get Over Here!" when grappling someone towards me, followed by a rocket punch in the face 2. Using Death from Above, and then as soon its done casting, using Jet Charge to fly straight at them from mid-air Just look awesome. And then followed by a Rocketpunch to the face
  22. Its a shame you're a Commando and not a Merc You'll want to transfer to Tomb of Freedon Nadd, its the only English EU PvP server now obviously.   24. It may just be shadows but it also mentions general game optimazations. This is a great step in the right direction if it works out well looking forward to it. It's also evidence that they have no intent on letting this.game die.like so many haters wish. F2P, content and game optimisations, all steps to improve the game

Maybe a small spoiler warning would be useful but hey people are smart enough that if they don't wanna know, just don't keep reading. Overall nice and simple guide. Keep it up regarding the.first boss: There is a set routine where he burrows. As for the Jealous Male and the Pheramone pools, I know there's a set number of locations that they might spawn but I don't think its a routine (could be wrong though)
