  1. I, both unfortunately and fortunately, do not have that problem. As a male Jedi Consular, I've only one choice for romance. Good luck with your choice.
  2. This is probably my favorite idea. Only new content I haven't seen before to level up!
  3. I said something in a thread long ago that I think rings relevant here: "You know what's funny? Going against the good guy cliche by being dark, gritty, and edgy is now very cliche. Either that, or this new era of dark and edgy in entertainment has given the human race an excuse to show its true colors: they are selfish piss-ant d-bags who revel in others' misery."
  4. My highest level character is a 48 Jedi Consular Sage Telekineticist. I'm not even to endgame yet. I've specifically avoided most of the endgame stuff like space dailies, ground dailies. I've only done 1 flash point, the Esseles, twice. That way all this stuff is fresh and new when I hit 50 and do them on HM. I didn't expect BW to have tons of endgame, and I'm happy to wait until they do get more out. I hope they take their time and make everything they provide as high quality as all the other stuff I've done on the way to 48.
  5. While I'm not quite so enraged about it, I do agree about the Market. Don't know anything about PvP. I would, however, like to point out the irony / hypocrisy of the title and the text.
  6. Ok, bye then. Oh wait, you're one of those who keeps subscribing despite "hating" the game.
  7. I'm not sure how they'd implement it, but if they can pull it off well, I think this is a swell idea!
  8. Anyone think this is kind of arbitrary? Just seems like of silly to me. I suggest that at some point BW remove it or reduce it to the global cooldown.
  9. I would like to have a second spec for PvP, and potentially second AC, so I don't have to play the consular class all the way through again.
  10. I think 2 things about your ideas OP: 1. Player Housing is already in the game. Your ship. It moves, but your friends are all there, and you have a bedroom in it. I think the only thing that should change is your ability to customize its look. 2. Player run cities is a bad idea for only one reason: MMO communities. Quite a lot of players are immature, stuck up, self important losers that act entitled to certain things for one reason or another. They would ruin something like player run cities in a week. Player run anything that is supposed to be for the enjoyment of all would not go well.
  11. My name is Tir Gavin, and I support this message.
  12. That's fine, but can I get a last name for each of my characters? I'd really like that. I made the mistake of thinking that each character got a legacy... /facepalm
  13. "Second Life is not a competition. There are no winners or losers in Second Life." "Oooh, there are losers ..." The only line I remember from the Office, but absolutely true. Hated that "game."
  14. D*mn right! Exactly how I feel.
  15. Anyone know if they've talked at all about allowing multiple legacies for accounts in the future? I'd really like that so some of my characters can have different last names.
  16. Unfortunately I've seen a lot of this in a lot of MMOs. Not just TOR. I think it just comes down to this: John Gabriel's Greater Internet Theory: Normal Person + Anonymity + Audience = Total F***wad Personally, I think there are a lot of people out there that use the internet to air the "dirty laundry" of their attitudes because they have anonymity and what they feel is immunity for their words and actions. IRL, they are forced to exercise more social grace or risk losing friends / family members. Couple that with the possibility that many MMO players are nerds / geeks, which have an abnormally high number of socially stunted people, and we get MMOs that are full of people who are selfish, immature and refuse to conduct themselves in a civil and friendly manner. I mean think about it. There are MMOs that are purposefully left so open and free that half the point is just running around and ganking / griefing other players. *cough*eve-online*cough* MMO communities and American politics are doing a fine job of killing my faith in the human race. My my. I ranted a bit long there, didn't I? Move along. Nothing to see here.
  17. Interactive cut scenes are one of TOR's best features and one of the only things that makes it stand out. I whole-heartedly disagree, OP.
  18. Everything this guy said, plus voiced and interactive cinematics that connect you to the story of the game and allow you to build your character's personality and morality.
  19. You know what's funny? Going against the good guy cliche by being dark, gritty, and edgy is now very cliche. Either that, or this new era of dark and edgy in entertainment has given the human race an excuse to show its true colors: they are selfish piss-ant d-bags who revel in others' misery.
  20. I would have a fifty, but I took 10 days off at the end of December to work on Skyrim during my vacation. Level 43 Jedi Sage Telekineticist
