  1. I agree that it should be an option to toggle. I liked being able to quickly solo old FPs for moddable gear. That said, I'm not going to rant about things.
  2. I'm for this change, if three things are true: 1. XP scales up to represent the increased challenge / level of the mobs (already confirmed). 2. Loot / credits / drops also scale up (haven't seen this confirmed). 3. It's optional (sometimes it's nice, for whatever reason, to be able to stomp the mobs or avoid them easier). Either way, though, it's not really enough to scare me away from the game as a whole.
  3. You know, given that one of the best features (if not THE best feature) of this game is the class story from 1-50, I'm not sure getting a free 60 boost is worth it at all. I actually like the idea of not having to worry about gearing my companions. That all said, I agree with Kurin, nothing on the OP's post makes the game any less or more difficult. It reduces grind, but not play difficulty.
  4. I'm not sure what the post 2.0 mod change prices are, but I stopped swapping mods a long time ago because of the cost and just overwrite old mods with new ones.
  5. I disagree. I think double XP should be a legacy unlock for alts on the same faction.
  6. I really am surprised that HK isn't more popular.
  7. Healer - So far? Doc. Melee Tank - Khem Val (Come on ... he's a monster that devours the souls of force users. Think about that). Melee DPS - Kira Carsen or Ashara Zavros. Ranged Tank - Kaliyo (She's just so dangerously tasty). Ranged DPS - HK-51, hands down. This list will likely change as I play more of the classes.
  8. Sorry to rain on this parade ... but nothing.
  9. Most of this is pretty good, but I think you have a big hole in this point. We HAVE player housing. Our ships. They are just houses that move you from point A to point B.
  10. I think the whole ship should be a rest zone.
  11. I'm a saaaaaaaaaaaaaad panda. Force Unleashed was cool. But I suppose that Unleashed 2 and Kinect were bad and the company doesn't make enough money to justify it's existence. It is what it is.
  12. I agree, here. Dual spec would be absolutely awesome, and would only enhance the game. I think AC changes should be expensive, so folks can't do it trivially, but you should be able to do it. I love that my Knight can dual wield, but I wish he could tank. I would pay a lot of credits to be able to tank -and- DPS, so I'm more versatile for groups. That's fine. If they are different classes, then give them different class quest lines. Oh, wait.
  13. I feel your pain, OP. I wouldn't be against this, but I'm not sure BW would be down with this idea, either.
  14. I think what hit me the hardest was that I wasn't making money fast enough between levels, so training my skills was breaking my bank!
  15. Really depends on how much of the items and content are available to subscription players. EA says all is available at no extra charge. Then they tell us that subscription players will get an allowance of cartel coins. If all is available to subscription players, why do we need coins? Why wouldn't they be available to us in-game? If it's a question of technical issues making sure that F2P players can't get access to cash shop items for free, why not give subscription players unlimited access to shop items? Just seems like EA is telling half truths, and we'll have to wait and see how the subscription and cash shop relationship shakes out. but my gut says something smells and it's not my toilet.
  16. I'm happy with this game as it is. I don't want it to go F2P. I'm worried that EA will abuse the cartel coin economy for unscrupulous profit gain. If all content and items are available to me at no extra cost (should I choose to remain subscribed), why on Earth do I need a monthly allowance of cartel coins? This makes me wonder if the monthly allowance won't be limited in such a way as to encourage me to spend extra money to afford the more expensive shinies in the coin shop. And ultimately, however many things that are available in the coin shop, is the number of things that were not made available in game for credits or as legacy perks, or whatever. At this point, I'm going to take a "wait and see" attitude, but I'm not optimistic. This whole thing smells.
  17. If things turn out the way I expect EA to direct them to, TOR will be losing one more too.
  18. In the spirit of quoting Dr. Cox in this thread, I have only this to say to you, OP:
  19. I think the problem here is, Thunder, that by announcing it, players open themselves up to being insulted and lambasted for not doing things a certain way. If we follow John Gabriel's Greater Internet F*ckwad Theory (given the profanity in the comic this originally was founded, I'm not going to link to it, you can google it), it would logically follow that one should do one's utmost to protect oneself from ridicule. Since you can't see who is "holding up" the group, best suggestion I can give to those who want to see the story is to play how you play and the spacebar players can leave if the run is taking too long for them.
