staying with your own questions ... my thoughts, experiences, and opinions ... 1) Are trainer-bought schematics useful? What's a better strategy for using them? What craft levels (1-400) should be paired with what game levels for efficiency? i found that they are all useless, until you get into the RE "Dark Purple" items and "Orange" items ... DK Purple comes from the schematic that starts out blue not green ... and the Orange ones i've only gotten from the GTN and from Underworld Trading 2) What is RE-able? What isn't? Is it worth it? so far everything i've made was RE-able ... some items i pick up from kills and boxes, i could RE ... not really worth REing them, i'd rather get the credits 3) Where are schematics? At lvl 400, the trainer gear is pretty limited--I assumed being an armorcrafter would equate to being one who has lots of outfit choices. find the more interesting and harder to find schematics on the GTN. as far as outfit choices? synthweaving is primarily for forceusers, and armortech is for blasterusers, although you could switch them around if you want to be a trooper running around in heavy robes 4) Need gear to get gear? There seem to be some bottlenecks. As a lvl 50 character, the only trainer schematics that upgrade my own gear require a crafting material that apparently only drops from Hard Mode flashpoints? not that i've encountered, i've been using Orange gear that i obtained from quest rewards and have been upgrading the mods to keep it up to date ... but then i haven;t been doing Ops or HM FPs 5) Was Synthweaving meant primarily for making non-moddable gear? as it should be, there are a few moddable schematics to be gotten which is better than most standard gear, but if you want the really good stuff HM FPs and Ops are where you need to be ... ... ... in all i find that most of the crafting professions are useless, except for biotech, and cybertech ... but its been my experience that crafting has always been an after thought and only really becomes necessary as the game "grows up" ... i've always ignored crafting in the beginning only to have it "bite me in the arse" later when it actually becomes something, so as pointless as it is now, i'm leveling my skill up so i'll be ready when it does finally change into something good ... but thats just my opinion ...

got mine for free noticed from a distance that someone had opened it for the datacron ... so i thought, they are permament objects, only the ability to click it disappears when "you" click ... so i ran over there hoping it wouldn't "reset" and close up on me ... but i made it and saved 5k credits

you can bet that there will be server consolidation coming ... but its probably not of their priority list ... on any typical friday or saturday night, you can clearly see the busy and slow servers ... mine is always on "heavy" on the weekends, as with a few others and the PvP and RP servers ... but a lot of the others are "light" ... even the busiest times which is the weekend ... sorry for you guys on those low population servers, guess BW made too many servers to lessen the quaries at launch in order to get everyone playing. now that the server load has balanced itself out, and people have chosen there server to be with friends, the excessive server amount will eventually be thinned out. if its any help and you want to reroll, the Shadowlands PvE server is pretty well populated ... even right now as i write this, the server statis showed us at standard (on a tuesday morning 11am) where almost all others are light ...

yes all you need to do is look on the GTN and you'll see the different crystals ... same color crystal and same level, but different "colored" names, in green, blue and purple. all with slightly improved stats.

that should be doable ... just like in real life if you screw up with someone you deeply loved and cared about but made critical mistakes, it would really, really be hard to regain their love and trust ... but with hard work and dedication you could (not always) gain their love back ...

No and i'll tell you why ... this isn;t a book, and an event and after you finish the companion storyline the event is over, there's no going back. reliving the companion storyline is stupid, you make your choices and thats that. can you relive your own storyline?!? of course not so why would you be able to relive your companion's?!? this game is about making choices and there's no going back. if you want to relive the companion storyline, reroll your character an play it again.

don;t know if there's a thread for this ... i apologize in advance why is there no reviving/resurrection during combat? healer spec'ed classes should have a revive/resurrection ability that works during combat. i don;t know for other classes but i know the Jedi Sage lacks this ability, its not even on the skill tree. if its only for certain healer classes, well thats just stupid. a healer is a healer no matter what class and its a basic function along with healing abilities. i've played a few MMOs and can't think of any of them that lack this function.

i don;t know what your class story is like but i've been back to Nar Shaddad, Hoth, Alderran, and back to my home planet twice ... and yes i had new quests on those planets at my level, and they were 10+ levels higher than all the others ... all you complainers seem to forget that this game is less than 2 months old, and you expect tons and TONS of content right out of the box ... thats not what an MMO is about, its about an evolving and expanding game.

Yes but i still have many reservations on it, simply cause its new ... not to mention it needs revamping on a few key points ... 1. crafting : is a joke 2. too linear : needs more openess 3. leveling is too easy : you can be lvl 50 and still have 4 more planets to goto otherwise still enjoy it

if you play a healer class with a tank companion, you can solo elites your own level ... if you're gear is up to date with current armor, mods, and enhancements and your tank is geared properly you shouldn;t have any problems doing elites. i'm able to go into a heroic 2+ area and solo it with my tank pet with no problem ... that is until i meet up with a champion, then it gets interesting ...

when you first log in and its uploading you onto the server, you are given your little intro ... we all know it its at the start of EVERY star wars movie ... Chapter IV : A New Hope (etc etc etc) ... it tells you ... as a Jedi Consular, i'm now on Chapter 3 called Children of the Emperor ... chapter 2 was called the Rift Alliance ... and chapter 1 was called the Jedi Plague (i think) hope that helps ...

anyone else getting and error message "STTOR Launcher has stopped working ... ... ..." i have been getting that message ever since patch 1.1.0 ... it doesn;t seem to affect me playing the game because either option i choose, [X], Ignore, or Check for Solutions ... the game still launches and plays normally ... just wondering if anyone out there has this quarky bug.

check the name again ... i'm almost positive it says Hutt Trade Network ... not Galactic Trade Network that should give you some indication of its intended useage.

true it seems the imperial side got all the really cool bells and whistles, but thats still a players choice. play the underdog and step up to the challenge ... i wanted to play the sith sorcerer as well, but went republic when my friend really, really wanted to play a JK. so now i;m enjoying the republic side. will try the Imperials, when i play all the Republic classes.

apparently your on the Imperial side ... thats your first problem right there ... EVERYONE wants to play the Imperials, and thats not BW fault, thats the populations fault as for playing in the mornings ... your an idiot, even on the weekends, mornings are the slowest times of the day, i know cause i play during the morning hours and see an average population of around 20-30 on various planets, except on the fleet station which is about double that ... so your playtime is also no fault of BW ... whats a level 50 to do you ask. well if you have to ask that, you are either guildless or you haven;t a clue. good bye and don;t let the door hit you on the way out oh by the way did you read any of the forums?!? the servers were down this morning for a quick patch, which means people who do play early on the weekends couldn;t and when the servers whent back up, the populations was even smaller than usual cause, beleive is or not, people do really have a life outside of gaming not that i;m one of them
