  1. running the Esseles (republic) or the Imperial equivalent (can't think of the 1st flashpoint when you get to the fleet station) will give you on average 160 social points with a 4 person group ... run that once a day and you can level up your social points VERY fast. if you outlevel the quest no big deal, you still get the social points and you can do it within 20 mins ...
  2. i've never had an issue getting people for H4s ... except maybe the near end planets like Corellia, or the bonus H4s on Hoth or Voss ... you can always go onto the next planet and then return and solo the H4s when your +10 levels over the zone. no xp but you'll still get the credits which are always useful.
  3. i run the Esseles flashpoint for the social points really ... you listening to the conversation over and over get boring ... i look for or advertise that i;m running it for social points, those joining then expect that it will be a quick run through ... BUT if i'm helping others who have never done it before, i wait for them to enjoy the story and never rush them. after all its the experience they are looking for ...
  4. 9400 lightside / 600 darkside; Sage healer speced; used Qyzen Fess after the fight the responses i used were (both were the first of the three choices); 1) to save Master Syo then; 2) tell Syo to fight the effects of the 1st Son (or something to that matter) and he survived ...
  5. no, no, no! the lightsabers are exactly how they are suppose to look like ... sorry if your bored with it, but you can change eveerything else about your character (outfit wise) but leave the lightsaber alone
  6. Space Combat ... when will you change it so we have Free Flight controls like other combat simulators ... after all the space combat missions are exactly like a combat simulator but aren;t restricted to a "pre-designated" flight path, where you shoot at things ... please give us, Free Flight controls ...
  7. not all droids are salvageable ... must be "strong" of higher for you to salvage anything from them
  8. ok i find space combat somewhat fun and a nice diversion from the traditional MMO quest grind ... but what i do not like is that fact that the space missions have a time limit and that controling the ship is extremely limited ... wheres the free controls for flying your ship around?!? wheres the ability to focus on 1 target until its obtained?!? whats up with the time limit?!? i'm currently trying to complete Hydian Way Blockage ... and the speed at which i fly passed the mines and minelayer is way too fast and its Constantly circling around in a wide circle which takes forever to return to the location where is was trying to disable a particular minelayer ... this is not enjoyable at the least ... the time is too short and it seems to take forever to destroy parts of the minelayer. hell i can destroy parts of the imperial destroyers and dreadnaughts in other missions quicker than i can destroy the engines on the minelayer ... and i have all level 5 equipment on my ship, so i don;t know what the problem is ... except for the 3 above unexplainable questions ... you want to know what was a fun star wars space combat game? X-Wing, Tiefighter and the pinnicale game, X-wing vs Tiefighter ... these were star wars space combat games done right. free flight controls, missions had time limits but with the free flight controls you were able to focus on what exactly was your mission, and not have to worry "oh how many more times am i going to circle around until the time runs out" ... come one BW ... you really have not done your research on this too much, and if you though of limiting the flight controls was a good thing, well then you were wrong ... SO WRONG ... look at all the awsome flight simulators out there, almost all of them (that mattered) had free flight controls ... GIVE US FREE FLIGHT CONTROLS IN SPACE COMBAT!!!
  9. i have checked all over, and cannot find an option to hide the xp bar ... so i guess theres no way to turn it off
  10. why did you buy it then?!? it was clearly laid out what you were getting for the money ... the DD clearly laid out what you were getting as well ... so you should have gotten the DD. if you pre-ordered 6 months earlier ... why did you do that, when you know that you can order the EXACT same CE the day before or the day of the release ... hell i see the CE sitting on the shelves at Best Buy. i bought the CE because i always buy a CE of something i look forward to playing, i could care less about the color crystal, and all the other junk they gave you, except for the speeder bike. and whats wrong with the speeder bike?!? i;m level 50 and still using it, and i;m glad i have it cause the cost for buying the skill to use the higher bikes is CRAZY ... i'm not a money maker so i'll be using my bike for a long time.
  11. Nar Shaddad has the Hutt Cartel Market which is useable by both sides ... do both sides use it, not really ... the amount of stuff on the Hutt market is rather low, so i;m not sure if no one is using it or most people don;t know about it ...
  12. ok so whats up with the loot system? haven't done many Ops but i have done quite a few FPs and it seems the loot system is a little sketchy. could you incorperate a Smart Loot System into the game? Everquest 2 introduced a smart loot system to there raiding portion that would drop loot that was specific to the classes involved in the raid. now if you had every class in the raid, then naturally it would drop anything. but if your raid makeup was missing, lets say an assassin, shadowknight, or a berserker ... then the chances of loot dropping for those classes would be a 0% chance. here its a bit different because there aren't many different classes currently (if this ever changes i don;t know) so an 8 man Op could very well have 1 of every class or only lack 1 particular class. also the factions do not mingle while doing Ops, unlike EQ2 does (both evil and good classes could work together in raids) ... just a thought and maybe something to incorperate in the future ...
  13. i would have to agree ... i'm a 8 year veteran of Everquest 2, and they had that function very early on, i'd like to say at launch but i can;t remember that far back.
  14. yes yes yes OMG yes ... its so damn annoying ... there are very few head pieces that actually look nice but its all jacked up when its visible. i have a Miraluka, and she has a high ponytail, it cuts through EVERY time, i have no problems with the vail just the ponytail. now i'm stuck with showing no head piece at all or just using her robes ... come on BW get someone on the graphical end to work on this ...
  15. in a word, you're an idiot ... think about what you just said, now take in to consideration what day of the week it is, the time it is, the fact that the servers JUST came back up and lets not forget that its a holiday ... get a life ...
  16. yes, i also want to have a custom signature ... a friend of mine recently made one for me and i really want to use it ... what say you, Bioware?!?
  17. none of you people have played a disfunctional MMO before ... i have and its running pretty damn good ... patches, hotfixes, updates are all normal in the MMO universe and if you say otherwise, you're full of crap! all you people complain about bugs and problems in the game. have you ever realized that the gaming community is to blame for early releases and problems in games today? everyone pushes and pushes for developers to realease games before they are finished and then you complain that it doesn;t work. even regular RPGs, 1st shooters and others have bugs and problems, because the community always demands new games at a pace that they don;t want to wait for. look back 5 years ago (PC, 360, PS2, PS3) and count how many games that they released that didn;t require some sort of patch or bug fixing. gone is the time when you bought a game and played it without having some sort of problem with it. the public demands the games, not tomorrow or today, but they demand it yesterday, regardless if its 100% functional. and the industry knows its can make more money getting it out early, and worry about patching the bugs later thanks to an internet connection. so stop complaining and play what you can ...
  18. agree ... i haven't a single issue with game play with any of the patches they have made, just made level 50 about 2 days ago. my friend is level 36, and so far hasn't had any problems with game play either, probably because we have almost identical system configurations and far exceed BW system recommendations.
  19. yea i just reached 50 yesterday and saw the in-combat rez ability ... dunno why they waited until level 50 to give it, well actually i do, you really need it for Ops i guess, but it felt weird not having it until the end. as for Commandos, that sucks they don;t have 1 ... whats the point of being a Medic then, i;m hoping its just an oversite.
  20. i have never had anyone hanging around a quest giver longer than a minute or two, and most of all the class story quest givers are in seperated spaces, away from the main flow of traffic, so again, whats the point of cutting off the area from everyone else? i'm just saying, the feel of the environment would be cleaner if those green/red forcefields would be removed. i like to explore and look around, and being cut off from a certain part of the building because its "trooper zone only" is kinda stupid. but its a minor thing and i'll get over it
  21. don;t care what george has to say ... the original format of episode 4 clearly shows Han shot first ... thats the way it was released and thats the way the story is told ... end of discussion
  22. whats the point of Class Only zones being restricted to "that" particular class?!? these "green" / "red" forcefields seem pretty silly IMO, simply because in the Options you can allow others to enter your zone. just simply leave the areas accessable and leave all the NPCs inside there, i mean only the player with the correct class can talk to your NPC and get their update. and as for specific targets to be killed in that zone, simply make it targetable only towards that class. i think it would clean up and give the game a more polished look ... opinions?
  23. Absolutely ... i'm a Consular Healer and have been using Nadia ever since i got her, at first with her general start up gear it was a bit shaky, simply because my lizard was outfitted with all his latest and updated gear. but after 2 changes of gear so far, she's kick-*** awsome, she does more dps than my lizard, and i have hardly any need to cast my offensives except maybe my AoEs for group mobs. otherwise i just shield and heal ...
  24. they should give a free reset every 30 days, that way it'll give you a chance to use it for a good amount of time before you prematurely deside to reset it again. they should also include an item where you can store a selected skill set and switch it whenever you want (swap between dps and healing) ... this would be an awsome item to included in crafting, specifically cybertech or biotech make crafting meaningful could be something like ... Matrix Cube of Change "change your skill set, while recording and storing your current setup" level 50 restriction 1 per character requires cybertech 400 (or Biotech 400) to make useable by anyone
  25. i agree ... i would make suttle changes ... - "Telekinetic Throw" would yank various items out of the ground - get rid of "Project" and replace it with "Force of Nature" using various effects like a cyclone, hailstorm / blizzard, thunder & lighting ... all of which i think would be ****** (imagine seeing a hailstorm / blizzard on tatooine from a distance ) the inquisitors definitely got the cooler of the visual effects
