  1. expertise wouldn't matter, since you will be putting WH mods in the PVE gear, so you'd still have the expertise just no augments, since the PVE gear obviously isn't augmented still, 8% more damage to railshot is impressive, it just depends what is better, more overal damage or more chance to crit
  2. hi everyone the pve set bonus is 8% extra damage to rail shot the pvp set bonus is +15% critical chance to rail shot we all know this now a guildie of mine is claiming that the pve bonus is the best, so 8% extra damage to railshot i'm not so sure about this, because if u take the pve set, u can change the mods to WH mods, but you are losing out on augments on at least 4 pieces to get the pve set bonus at the moment i have 31.5% crit chance and 76.5% surge with the +15% crit to rail from pvp set bonus, i suppose my railshot should almost crit half of the time now i'm not sure that losing all that crit chance + the stats from the augments is worth getting the 8% more damage to railshot from the pve bonus set has anyone done some extensive testing on this? thanks
  3. this I don't understand I actually lose 110 power if I take the WH gun, but that's because i have an augment on my BM gun and should remove that from the calculation So my question still remains, does the gain in weapon damage compare to the loss in power? anyone know? because -100 power really seems like alot I suppose i could get the 100 power back, but that might take alot of time to get those power WH mods so for the time being it's more wise to keep my BM gun?
  4. Wen I compare the WH gun to my BM gun, i lose about 100 power but gain 30 max damage Does this add up? Or should I stick with my BM gun til I can replace the mods on WH gun? I think I'll first get the WH armor pieces before I get the WH gun...
  5. that's what I'm thinking also see my thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=406305
  6. no idea what you are trying to say, but PFT ticks for 1000 with my char still don't understand how some ppl claim to get 12k damage from it?
  7. lol no, that's not the case it ticks 3 times for +-1000 damage so total 3k damage like i said in my first post
  8. I've specced full AP this morning and went to test PFT on a testdummy (didnt have the time to test it in pvp) I used immolate and FB to get my 5 stacks, ready to unleash FT....i do 3k damage..***? am i doing something wrong? I've read in other threads that it's supposed to do +12k damage? My FB did crits of 2k damage on the dummy, why is the damage of my FT that low?
  9. lets say for example you have to take out the enemy ballhandler running towards your endzone, he's about to score I can take him out faster when i'm specced MM/ENG than LETH or LETH/ENG the biggest damage will be done in a few seconds ( shatter shot, instant snipe with laze, followthrough, ambush+explosive probe, takedown) (and legshot or interrogation droid to slow down) while with LETH my dots are still ticking when the ballhandler lives long enough to score although I must admit that I cant take down a heavily geared tank with his defence CD's on, even with all my burst from MM/ENG or I have to get lucky with crits and adrenal
  10. i've read several times that it's a 45% accurucy debuff only for weapon attacks anyone thouroughly tested this in pvp?
  11. just a small question, what's so great about diversion? the only thing it's useful for as far as i know is for keeping other snipers/gunslingers from using cover it also reduces accuracy for 45% for a few secs, but most classes aren't affected by this because they use force/tech/ etc damage
  12. your primary damage seems low, i have close to 10000 with my pve gear do you use buff from biochem?
