  1. No. It does not matter if you disagree with those points of view that you mentioned. The fact is, they are very and very valid reasons why one should not get the story titles via boost. The simple truth is if you want to experience the same rewards, you have to do the work. It is quite simple as that. So even though you may be disappointed this is the way it is and any other way just smells of entitlement to me. And no your option of buying those titles is not acceptable either.
  2. Yeah I'm not so sure about this. See, it appears to me that what you were doing could be construed as spamming. Also, I'm not sure if CS has the power to terminate a sub so I call BS on that. Sure not getting achievements is bad, but the best approach is to keep sending bug reports. It has nothing to do with CS.
  3. You know, you should actually go and take a look at the suggestion box sometime because the discourse there is actually pretty solid. You must also understand that some ideas are just badly thought out and that brings disagreement However, I have seen plenty of ideas gain traction and support because they are well thought out and I actually believe that to some degree they do implement what they can.
  4. The fact you posted this on an open forum opens debate and whether you care or not about our opinion is actually irrelevant The fact is, the way you have presented yourself at least to me, seems rather elitist and rather mean. I mean you can't force people to contribute, but to outright deny them access to what is deemed a social aspect of a guild is well harsh. So I echo others when they say If I saw a GM post that, I'd be gone in a flash.
  5. Bioware is here to make money, not their fault players were taken in by the material. Who are you to say it is lame? I know many players who are really enjoying the new content so instead of admonishing the entire company, why not just speak for yourself?
  6. I don't think you can possibly equate no mans sky which was a dismal failure to SWTOR. First of all No Mans Sky is a massive sandbox with no multiplayer and SWTOR is an MMO. What SWTOR needs to be relevant is more content such as further Raiding and PvP. But the whole vast universe thing, works for a sandbox not a theme park.
  7. Says who? You? No, it does not work like that and in my view player bounties are fine as long as their is an opt out feature because this game is not SWG, it was never designed as SWG and therefore systems like that may not be the right fit. Also, who are you to say that if one does not like bounties they can't PVP? Seems a bit elitist to me honestly and lastly, please don't say WE in your title as that infers that you speak for everyone and from my view you don't speak for me or anyone else for that matter. EDIT: Just saw your other post in response to another poster. You're right, this is a different generation and a different game so it is not actually your place to say if people are entitled or not. It's more on the lines of people feeling differently. So again PvP bounties could work in an open world game, but SWTOR is not open world nor is it SWG as such people should be encouraged to PVP not forced.
  8. Most of us work for a living here as well. Also most are not rich here either. I work 9 to 5 every day, pay bills, have debts etc. However, just because you bought the game once doesn't entitle you to all the benefits that a subscriber gets. So, if you want more companions, support the game by subbing and earn them.
  9. That is entirely your opinion on the matter. I tend to feel quite unique on my characters in the sense that every decision I make is based on my play style and how I have grown my characters, so for me immersion is the same. So I can understand your point of you on this, I honestly think it's quite alright as is.
  10. I highly suggest you edit out the part about data mined information. It is a ban worthy offense.
  11. Interesting concept, but ultimately I can't support this. This game is realistically not SWG and the tool set used for tanks is much different. As such the ability you have described comes across a bit over powered as it has the ability to taunt as well as shield. It is entirely two different games and thus two different ways of tanking and being a light sided Jedi should have no influence on what abilities one could use. So again interesting concept, but no it should not apply here.
  12. Please cite your sources for your claim. I mean don't know if you are aware, but the game is making a killing on CM sales so there must be some revenue being generated, so I fail to see where the claim "maintenance mode" comes from.
  13. It's not going to happen. Although I understand the reason for the request, why can't you simply ask at the beginning of the instance if you'd like to watch the cutscenes.
  14. Um no. I don't think they will make you Emperor. But feel free to keep dreaming
  15. With respect, that is your problem and not Biowares. Sure taking care of your child is important but that isn't Bioware responsibility to cater to your needs or anyone else's for that matter. Their goal is to make content and make money period. Now to your next point. No and No. HK55 is NOT a punishment. It is a reward for those people who subbed on the day of the promotion that is it. And the excuse that people don't have a computer anymore is again not Bioware's fault, because if it mean't so much to them, could they have not used their phone or gone to an internet cafe? The debate on what F2P people deserve is a tired one and I am of the opinion that if you do not contribute anything you don't deserve anything. Besides, those player's get the entire base game for free yet, some restrictions should be lifted but that is a different discussion. So no, it was a Subscriber reward and if you do not meet the deadline then tough. Subs already get so shafted enough.
  16. The speeder is fine in my opinion and I've also been here 3 years so yes I do indeed play. Now you spent $100 on the game and think you deserve more? Yeah see that it isn't a tad bit, it's completely elitist. Do you want to know how much I've spent on the game? Try maybe a grand maybe more. The difference is I do bot believe they owe me anything. Also the HK reward was for subs who MADE the deadline. If you missed it, that's on you.
  17. Enlighten me as to how that is a power hungry player? Or is it perhaps that player is simply better?
  18. He wouldn't know and neither would I. Probably a team of designers. But on the topic of animations, I actually disagree with you entirely and think the animations especially flamboyant strike or Ravage for example are amazing. My personal favorite would have to be Jet Charge and really don't think any changes are needed to be honest. Also you won't be able to contact the devs directly. Here they read all suggestions and sometimes act on them but that is about it.
  19. No one in their right mind is going to read all that unless you actually make some paragraphs. But onto the idea itself. It's decent but I feel there would be too many hurdles to overcome. Like for example, if someone has a decked out GSF fighter that one shots people, how is it fair. Also I feel there should be an opt out feature as some want their guild ships for PVE or RP. You're definitely got a nice concept, but I highly doubt it will happen.
  20. It's quite simple, I play my characters based on my own moral decisions. Each decision whether dark side or light side, I weigh on what I'd do or how I envision my character's to be.
