  1. Owh for the love of god....not even commenting on this freaking trollish post /ignore
  2. Look i aint saying it cant be done, ofc it can, its just with TFB on the horizon, why adding this new mechanic NOW? Honestly im seeing this as a bug, a reply from joveth or allyson here would be great tho
  3. Nope. never. It allways was like it is now.
  4. In PvP it might be the reasons that you point out, aye. But operatives in PvP have been since patch 1.2 the best healers around in PvP. Havent played my sorcerer in a while in PvP but i think your reasoning make sense. In PvE tho, thats a completelly different story and Sorcerers Healers have been the best healers around since launch. In terms of PvE all classes are pretty much well balanced in TPS/DPS/HPS. PvP is also about survivability and operatives there beat you but not only opers vs sorcs/mercs but also other classes vs other classes. Thats the problem when you make an MMO thats both centered in PvP/PvE end content game with the same trees. TOR has the most well balanced classes ive seen for PvE, in PvP it has its issues in class balance but thats a problem affecting every MMO outhere that uses same trees for both PvE and PvP, im afraid. Thats my 2 cents anyway.
  5. About us Uncharted is a semi-hardcore PvE empire guild. We founded this guild with the same philosophy that we had in WoW for 6 years, meaning that, uncharted is a guild made for all type of players. We support players that are casual, semi-hardcore and hardcore players alike. We will have a 5 days (Sundays till Thursdays) raiding schedule from 2200-0030 BST. We have guild rules that will backup the players that parttake in our activities by giving them item priorities, guild bank benefits and raid spot priority. We fair in a total social enviornment, where maturity and friendship will be our primary weapons towards sucess. Uncharted will only recruit +21's years old in order to try and maintain an adulthood enviornment. We are interested in how good you are but most of all we are after players that do love to be here and raid with us, reguardless of wipes. We are interested in players that above all are polite and friendly. We are after all those that are tired of extreme hardcore and unsocial guild philosophies. Uncharted is a guild made for all those that enjoy playing the game by raiding in a friendly universe reguardless of top premier sucess. If this is a guild of your liking, do make the sign up process at www.unchartedtor.net Currently Recruiting: Juggernaut DPS: Low Juggernaut Tank: Low Powertech DPS: Low Powertech Tank: Low Assassin DPS: Low Assassin Tank: Low Marauder: Low Sorcerer Healer: Low Sorcerer DPS: Low Operative DPS: Low Operative Healer: Low Mercenary DPS: Low Mercenary Healer: Low Uncharted Guild Rules: GENERAL GUIDELINES: - Any offense to a player race/creed or religious beliefs will result in the guild kick of the offending player(s). - Its not allowed to swear in any chat available on the guild with the intent of insulting another player. This will lead to the guild kick of the player in question. - We are an international guild and as a result we allways talk in english in all channels that involve guild players, including ventrilo when opping. - Putting a guildie on the ignore function will lead to a warning to the player in question. Subsequent ignore actions will lead to a guild kick. - We guide ourselves with a warning points system to every member. Anyone reaching 3 warnings will be guild kicked. Guild warnings will wane in 30 days, if after 30 days the member in question havent gained anymore warnings, the entire warning points of the affected player will be cleared. - Use of ventrilo is absolutelly mandatory in order for a player partake in an operation. Failing to comply having ventrilo instaled and working will put the player in question automatacly out the operation group. You dnt need a microphone, you just need to listen to the raid leader commands. - In order to maximize our operations leadership analisys, every member entering operations must have installed and functional, Mox Parser. Mox parser is an offline aplication that is used to count healing/DPS done on fights. Download Mox Parser http://memoriesofxendor.com/parser/desktop/MOXParser.zip and follow installation instructions in http://memoriesofxendor.com/parser/desktop/. Note: The combatlog folder they talk in the instructions page is located in My Documents/SWTOR/Combatlogs not inside the instalation directory of SWTOR itself. If you dont see a directory with that name is because you havent yet enabled the combat logging in SWTOR preferences ingame. Dont also forget that to see Mox parser properlly inside the game you must use SWTOR in windows mode (fullscreen) or normal windows mode, i recommend the full screen (windowed) tho. GUILD RANKS: Sith Overlord = Guild Master (Full member) Player in charge of Uncharted. Sith Master = 2nd in command (Full member) The sith master rank is awarded to a player trusted by the guild master. This player(s) rank will replace the guild master in whatever dutys he is supposed to perform. The sith master will not suffer demotions reguarding attendance unless the sith overlord does so wish it. Sith Lord = Officers (80%)(Full member) Sith lords will be the officers of Uncharted. They are in charge of dutys as raid leaders and even sometimes web admin. Officers will have to have the same attendance percentage as of the core members (see above), if they fall below this percentage they will demoted to the respective rank percentage. Sith lords will be invited by an officer council if he/she so wish it. Sith Loremaster = Core members (80%)(Full member) Also known as core members, they are players that will distinguish themselves from the remaining hardcore ranks through player skill. Core members have raid and item priority over sith elites. All core members will be promoted through dark council voting after they reach 80% of attendance on the last 30 days. Sith Elite = Hard-Core Raiders (60%)(Full member) Hard-core raiders are members that overpassed 60% percent of attendance on the last 30 days thus being automatically promoted to this rank. They will have raid spot priority and loot priority over the remaining ranks below them. Sith Knights = Raiders (30%)(Full member) Sith knights are most commonly known as members. Players with 30% on the last 30 days may be promoted to the full member status within the guild. Usually they are players deriving from adept ranks (trials) or acolytes (casual) after some percentage of attendance. Knights will have raid and item priority over acolytes and adepts. Sith Acolyte = Casual player (0-29%) Casual players also known as sith acolytes are players that have earned over the course of guild permanence the right to be inactive from TOR for 60 days and still remain on the guild roster. Players that have proper explanations on the why they are AFK will be able to stay in this rank for 6 months. Members that have over 30% of attendance over the last 60 days will adquire this right. They will automatically be promoted to sith knights when they reach 30% of attendance. They will have loot priority over adepts but not raid priority. Sith Adept = Trial members (0-29%) Adepts will be all the new members to this guild. They will become knights when they reach 30% percent of attendance in 30 days and pass the voting through the dark council. Sith Slave = Low level main chars This guild does take low level main chars to our ranks. A non 50 lvl main char will allways be inserted in this rank till he/she reaches lvl cap, when that happens they will be promoted to the adept rank thus following their rules (read above). Sith Clone = Alts Clones will be the alternative characters of guild players. There are no restrictions to the number of alts that a player can have however, only full members (every rank apart from adept's) can have an alternative character alltough there are allways exceptions. This rank will only be effective ingame, in the website there will be no chars on this rank due to lack of syncronization for guild websites mechanics. - All promotions/demotions will be updated every tuesday morning. GUILD BANK: - All BoE Crafting materials can be bought by guild players (full members only) by 50% of the actual GTN price and they are only sold to guild full members with the purpose of upgrading their gear. Whisper/mail GM or any officer to request these crafting materials. - Guild bank tab 1 (Consumables) is destined for consumable items (Stims, Adrenals and Medpacks). - Sith clones will have no bank privelieges whatsoever. - Sith Adepts will have no bank privelieges whatsoever. - Sith Slaves will have no bank privelieges whatsoever. - Sith Acolytes will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecsing up to a value of 5000 credits per week. - Sith Knights will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecsing up to a value of 10K credits plus withdrawing 2 items from the guild bank tab 1 (Comsumables) per week. - Sith Elites will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecsing up to a value of 30K credits plus withdrawing 4 items from the guild bank tab 1 (Consumables) per week. - Sith Loremasters will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecing up to a value of 60K credits plus withdrawing 6 items from the guild bank tab 1 (Consumables) per week. - Sith Lords will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecing up to a value of 60K credits plus withdrawing 6 items from the guild bank tab 1 (Consumables) per week. Lords can also make deposits. - Sith Masters will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecing up to the value of their attendance, meaning that if they have for example attendance as a sith knight than they will be able to use the guild bank money as if they were a sith knight. Masters do not have limits to withdraw items from the guild bank tabs. They can also make deposits. - Sith Overlord will be able to use the guild bank money for withdraw, make repairs and respecsing up to the value of their attendance, meaning that if they have for example attendance as a sith knight than they will be able to use the guild bank money as if they were a sith knight. Overlords do not have limits to withdraw items from the guild bank tabs. They can also make deposits. OPERATIONS: - Sith Adepts will have raid priority over Acolytes unless there's an issue with the operation class balance. - Sith Knights will have raid priority over adepts and acolytes. - Sith Elite will have raid priority over adepts/acolytes/knights. - Sith Loremasters will have raid priority over adepts/acolytes/knights and elites. - Officers will allways have raid priority over all ranks due to raid leading issues. As long as an 8 man operation have at least 2 officers in it, the remaining may rotate raid slots with loremaster ranks. - Officers include Overlord, Master and sith lord ranks. - Every guild member must have augments mk-6 installed on all of their gear. Failing to have mk-6 augments installed will make that player in question loose operation spot priority. - Every player inside an operation from difficult level hard mode and nightmare mode, must have at all times consumable buffs. Refusing to do so will lead to a operation kick to the player in question. - All SM operations are open for guild members to make them with PuG's, also, EV/KP HM/NM are also available for PuG's. Players that become locked in a pug operation not allowed will receive a guild penalty (see below). LOOT DISTRIBUTION: - Sith Clones if they are in an operation its only because there was a necessity for it, therefore, the players having the alt on the op will have the same item priority as his main. - Sith Acolytes will have item priority over trial members (adepts) - Sith Knights will have item priority over adepts and acolytes. - Sith Elite will have item priority over adepts/acolytes/knights. - Sith Loremasters will have item priority over adepts/acolytes/knights and elites. - Sith Lords will have the same item priority as the loremaster rank. - Sith overlord and master will have the same rank privileges that their % attendance is. Meaning if they are atm on the same % attendance than for example the sith knight rank, than they will have the same item prioritys of the sith knight. - All BoE Crafting materials will be for the guild bank. Read above on the how to get these crafting materials from bank. - All SM operations will be handled in a need/greed system. - Whenever by whatever reason it might happen we do have a player that doesnt belong to our guild, in our operations, than the loot system will change to need/greed system and no rank prioritys will be applyed. - HM/NM operations will be handled in a master loot system with rank item prioritys. Were waiting for SWTOR combat log gets more robust to fully switch to an EPGP system. GUILD PENALTIES: - Going with PuG's to not allowed operations: -20 attendance points + 1 guild warning
  6. Another troll post, whatever..
  7. Kophar

    Sith sorceror

Nerfs??? What... O.o, amazing, simply amazing...sigh
  8. Exactly that but if you also read the interview till the END they were having some problems on the final part of the WZ when all hell goes loose and explodes. Meaning that most probably it wasnt ready preciselly cause that 1% u said that is still missing.
  9. Ok let me try to see the logic on this reply: 1 - This post is about End content, wich is what majorly QQ'ers around here do claim TOR lack. Why they claim it, its really beyond me, either they only played TOR or i have no clue of what theyre talking bout. Sure the game needs a paralallel path of end content in terms of mini-games or whatever, so peeps have more diversity apart from ops and WZ's and the game surelly need WZ's built in for masses (coming Jan-Mar) but claiming that TOR is lacking end content is just plain and simple trolling around. 2 - Are you saying what i think ure saying?? WoW has a better levelling experience?! Cause if you are, surelly you must be paranoid. Ive seen plenty around here complaining just about everything but complaining about the levelling experience of SWTOR...!! Now thats a fresh new one for me. I shouldnt be suprised really, since these forums are filled with naysayers that just complain about TOR for the sake of complaining. Really hope BW would be more strict on their forum policy, more than allready is. The only good thing in the near future is that all this QQ'ers that the majority arent even playing TOR will have their voice closed down on F2P. Perhaps starting from November this forums will become actually a nice aid for BW and a good place to be reading.
  10. For me, games without cutscenes with dialogue choices are not viable anymore. Specially MMO's.
  11. Not that i know off because plain and simple, it cannot be proved. So if there are any websites doing this job, they cant be trusted with the results shown. Heard somewhere BW would add this in time.
  12. What a bunch of whinners full of bullocks really!!
  13. Owh dear lord, and this is a big part of our community, gg.... They really should ban this type of players from posting in our forum, honestly, sigh....
  14. Good for you, so have i been on PTS before i had my character copied over on 1.3, reached lvl 20-30ish with some chars there. I dnt have to test out the changes to know i like them. Its the same story with the changes that were made to sorcerers on 1.1. Everyone was throwing themselves from the 7th floor because of them and i said backhan that they were just and that we sorcerers just had to adapt to the mechanic change and guess what, were still the most OP healing class in PvE and ive encountered several sorc healers in PvP that are pretty hard to kill. I tell you even 1 more thing before i just unsub from this post and put you on ignore, in 1-2 weeks after 1.4 there will be raging posts to nerf sorcers to the bone, just watch and see. Every change outthere was well thought and I agree to them all. The difference is that im expressing MY point of view and speaking for myself, i aint speaking for others and thinking my opinion is the reason. Since u insinuated that everyone felt like you, im telling you that i dnt, so u arent speaking for everyone that were on PTS, since ive seen lots of posts saying that agreed with the changes.
  15. Eheh, just because u havent seen me it doesnt mean i dnt agree with the changes installed. Saw and read lots of post totally agreeing with the changes and also saw other posts disagreeing with the changes. As its usual with all class changes, some will like it and some others will not but that defenetly doesnt mean that you speak for all others around here. Ive been on PTS since i do have a lvl 50 there and i do have read all the changes reguarding my main, wich is a sorcerer healer btw and ill tell right now, i do like them, so since you dnt speak for me, im guessing that you arent speaking for all the others as well, so do us all a favour and speak for yourself.
  16. Keep them coming BW , i bet it shutted up plenty of disbelievers outthere
  17. Im wondering, you just started playing now or....? Cause the features for patch 1.4 have been announced 1 month ago. Not seeing why ure complaining now really.
  18. Ok it might have been i didnt heard the "shortly after" in the interview
  19. I know ive heard it in the past somewhere and i know it was supposed to be released on 1.4, thats why i didnt even bothered to confirm it on patch notes., it seems it isnt, i apologise for my previous reply. They even said EC NM would drop the same gear that drops on TFB HM so... It was supposed to be released in 1.4 perhaps it wasnt working properlly yet and they removed it. Anyway, EC NM on June next year is just honestly not true since makeb might hit before or around that timeframe. EC NM is pretty much near.
  20. Sigh... Guys EC Nightmare mode is coming on 1.4, if you want to speculate go ahead but at least do your homework.
  21. Uhmm, it might aye, usually when theres no maintenance on Tuesdays its because something is cooking on BW department The patch notes have been in smaller quantity on PTS, so you might be right but dnt expect too much. Its expecting too much too soon that makes all of the doomsayers in here creating all of those griefing postings.
