  1. Nice statistics, that really shows-- wait, you made them up? Like most people do all the time on public forums? Huh. You realize if he WERE apart of the 99% then that would be ample justification for giving him what he wants, which is less penalties on losing. 99% is an overwhelming majority and SHOULD be obeyed by game devs. So, really, you're just showing how big of a moron you are on multiple fronts. Also, LOL.
  2. I heard of a smuggler named: "Captain Captain Captain"
  3. The heroic moves can only be used with a companion out.
  4. Well, just don't expect to have any fun healing until you get EMP.
  5. If you queue up for 30+ warzones a day, you're not bad. That much dedication yields results, no matter who you are.
  6. My god, just use it to your advantage. Run the hell away from everyone/objectives and pull the idiots that chase you out of the fight. If they stop following, heal at max range, do what you can. Sorc bubble is op and instant anyway. Staying means death but recognizing you're being targetted and pulling them away from objectives is intelligent gameplay.
  7. And knockbacks are more powerful then grapple. Who cares.
  8. I play a scoundrel, so no abuse of the ability here. I agree with a slightly longer cooldown but a 15m range is ridiculous, no point in having it at that range. 30m is fine. Also, if your group is escorting the ball carrier and one guy pulls the ball carrier.. just have the runner pass the ball up. Pull has as big an effect on huttball outcomes as knockbacks do. Its a part of the game that I actually really like, despite being unable to do either. It turns the tide of a cap in a heartbeat making huttball more of an ebb and flow.
  9. Actually, if you have the same gear its MORE skill focused because instead of fighting people with less gear then you, thus giving you an advantage or handicap, you fight people and the outcome is based solely on how well you play your class. All this change does is level the playing field a little bit. Also, the new tier of pvp gear, war hero gear, will be gained only through rated warzones.
  10. You assume that all Sith Purebloods support the Empire and are force sensitive. There might be a splinter of which that defect to the Republic. Racism has no place in space.
  11. I saw a scoundrel using force choke in the new warzone when they were talking about the legacy system, is this going to break the game?
  12. Don't know why they would turn off the stream other then to inconvinience everyone who wasn't invited and to show how much better the guild masters are then us, and other guild masters who couldn't make it. Do you really need to stroke their epeen, bioware. Just leave the stream on.
  13. "Now we talk about the secret stuff" What the hell?
  14. That paraphrase was rather inaccurate. I'm simply disagreeing with you. Also, I play a scoundrel so the mirrors of those spells are emergancy medpack(instant) and slow release medpack(hot). Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure what you do versus dps, but if its ranged I'll do my best to LoS, which luckily there are many opportunities to do such in every warzone, and versus melee I'll try and kite to the best of my ability and keep my hots up on me, and everyone near me for the UH stacks, if the stress isn't too great. Now, adressing the whole what I would do if my main heal was interupted in a 1v1 situation, I'd obviously keep my hots up, but I'd blasterwhip for a free UH stack for an EM. Our cleanse also provides a small amount of healing, so if I'm starved on UH stacks and have two stacks of my hot then I'll pop that as a filler while running. For ranged it really depends on your LoS because, well, if you LoS you can usually get the cast off and if you can't blaster whip isn't a very good option. I usually just gun it for something to hide behind, tbh. In a 1v1 vs ranged their damage has never been crazy enough to kill me alone before being able to hide behind something. Positioning in general is rather important, I tend to favor cluttered areas with things/pillars to duck behind. I do my best to never stay in 1v1 situations long, and run towards teamates often. I do quite well regardless of how much supposedly easier it is for other classes to heal.
  15. You raise some good points, though I still think we're fine. Having SRMP on more targets means more chances of producing a stack of UH, regardless of what their health is at. Try that and get back to me. Don't forget not to let UH exceed two stacks.
  16. I have a columi healing/dps set and have a champion healer set. Tell me I don't pve/pvp at 50. I perform quite well and don't see an issue, other then with what I've mentioned. In the case of this thread, the problem lies with the player, not the class.
  17. Our healing is fine. All we need is a fix to our aoe heal and kolto pack to be redesigned and we're set.
  18. What could I possibly have to gain by lying. Seriously, what advantage do I get, explain it to me. If I felt underpowered I would share your sentiments and those of many in this thread but I DON'T at all. I explain my own experiences for you and you just call me a liar because it conflicts with your idiotic, inconclusive, bias finality that we are awful at everything. Every class has defensive cooldowns so factor that into your inane rambling of a response. Also factor in taunts and CC. Am I really a liar now? I clearly stated that I couldn't keep them up -every single time- but a lot of the time I can, delaying death at the very least where another class would fail far sooner. If people are CCing and taunting, which most of the time they are, then that adds to survivability in the case I mentioned in my last post. Obviously if you're picturing me alone with one other person and healing them while 4-5 other people are on them then thats your own lack of foresight and apologies if thats the message I put across, because that is obviously impossible. Maybe I should clarify what I do. I usually have hots on everyone within range and lets say someone starts to get dangerously low, I'll EMP them continuously until they get nearer or above 30%, I won't cast EMP past 30% unless I have a second stack, I keep one stack on reserve. Once I get them to that safe area I'll cast an UMW, seing as how those EMPs were completly free, I'll have the resources to cast one(UMW cast) followed by an immediate EMP right after the cast. So thats a 6k crit, as you say, plus a potential 3k crit making me heal for potentially 9k after a 2second cast, without factoring in hot ticks. Now, I have several options at this point, I can either cast another UMW(+another EMP after the cast) or cast a second EMP, depending on where their health is and whether I want to sacrifice that reserve stack of UH. At this point the danger is gone. Though, this was an ideal situation where someone was saved, obviously people can still die despite our great emergancy healing capabilities. ^with that in mind, tell me we're god awful healers. We have the best emergancy capabilities.
  19. Why is there always at least one person who brings up rationality, logic, and 'facts' in every single thread and claims whoever disagrees with them lacks any, or all, of the three.
  20. LoS, ranged problem solved. Better get good at running and healing from the melee.
  21. Fact, huh? Sounds ENTIRELY speculative to me. EMP is never alone, there are hots in addition. I've kept someone from dying with a group of 3-4 on them. Other times I've prolonged their life for roughly ten seconds or so, which makes a world of difference in a team fight. And my point was, Sawbones emergancy healing capabilities far outrank the other two classes.
  22. The 2k is a noncrit. And most scoundrels will have minimum 30% crit so a third of your heals will be crits. So 2-3k each GCD plus hot ticks every three seconds. Its a lot of healing. Try and think of -any- class that can dish out 2-3k hits every gcd. They can't. Try and think of a healer who can do the same, you can't. Also, as a scoundrel our resource is limitless as well, if managed properly. I'd say scoundrel is the hardest healer to play but I would never say its the worst. I'm regularly on top in warzones. And as we've no parses to compare the three, we can't know how the three compare to eachother other then our own subjective and limited testing of the three choices. Scoundrels are also underplayed and underrepresented, the metagame currently frowns upon them but I'm guessing that will change as scoundrels get better. I play all three specs of the scoundrel and I suppose its a little frustrating because I have to constantly justify my class spec to nonguildies who haven't had much experience with strong scoundrels and they just turn you away because 'they heard scoundrels were bad'.
  23. You don't 'let' them get below 30%, you heal them normally but when they do dip below that number you have the best tools to keep them from dying, if you're smart with them. Its easy to lose a stack mistakenly when the threat isn't gone.
  24. Well, for this particular case I was responding to a comment about our healing.
