hiya:) I was in JTd when I was on the Bria Server. Had a friend Jyzia that was Jedl for awhile. Loved the RP community within the Guilds associated with you guys.

I have been playing since Beta. Overall I am dissapointed in this game. Several months back I got to the point where, I well....could'nt be bothered playing any more. For me this game does not cater to my game style. The Graphics are nice, as are the class Quests. Unfortunatly for me, thats where the good stuff ends. The things that keep me interested in a game, are: Crafting, (the crafting in this game requires no thought. Get resources, and click Button, and poof ya have an item. No compexity in the crafting) PvP- . Warzones are actually pretty good. But Open world pvp is non existant. This topic has been thrashed in other posts. no point going over this again. Player Housing and Decorating- non existant. Ships are not peoples Houses....please! hmprh maybe it is just me, but heck, I am bored of Theme based games like TOR. I do check forums after content roll-outs to regularly see what stuff BW has added. Who knows, maybe one day there will be something in this game that will once again get me interested in playing again. I am, though at the point where I just don't care anymore about playing this game. I do hope you all enjoy ya game, and get a lotta pleasure outta playing.

I am on PvE server (Dalborra). I focus a good chunk of my game time on PvP. I have enjoyed this update. It is definatly nice to see so many flagged players running round illum. I am also in a guild that mainly focuses on the PvE aspect of this game. I have heard from a lot of people (mainly PvE players) that they hate how people have been Trolling/Ganking them in this update. I am one of those players that will happily jump someone, or a group of people who are flagged for pvp....weather or not they are in the Illum contested area or PvE area of Illum. I make no apologies to people who dislike being engaged in pvp, while they are questing, or generally running around. 1.7 was highlighted as a pvp update. There have been several people in this forum posting that have offered some good advice to people that dislike being involved in pvp. Please feel free to read those replies. In the meantime, I wish you all the best in this update:) Enjoy it, because from what I have seen of it so far.....it is a pretty good content update. Peace, and mungbeans:)

It is again very food to see Illum inhabited by more than the local NPC population:) I have had an awesome time hunting, harassing, (and generally being as annoying as possible) Imp players that have strighed to far from their group members on my wee Scoundrel (dirty rotten Scoundrel!). Sigh:) almost reminds me of Illum days back not to long ago after launch. So many flagged players running round Illum killing NPC's, other players, and generally chomping through the new content!

I do agree with you about being rolled and trolled by the same faction. I would have liked to have had this update focus more on faction Vs faction rather than having the contested zone in Illum a "free for all" area. Bringing back Valor for killing an opposite faction player would have be a bonus as well. Still I guess with the problems BW have had with their servers and large scale open world pvp Battles, this update is probably the best they could have done, with the resources they have available. Definatly have mixed feelings about this update. Still for whats its worth, it is good to see Illum once again inhabited by more than the local NPC population.

I was dissapointed to read this as well. But I am hoping there are ways around this for people on PvE servers. Can we have multiple gruops of 4 in the same area? I am thinking so.

I am not to fussed on weather or not there is any PvE Objectives in this update. PvE Players (aka carebears) already have enough content. Players that enjoy PvP are in need of more content other than the same old reptative Warzones.

Hi Guys, I was wanting to know if the Ranked WZ's were still happening at all? I have a wee lvl 50 Scoundrel that I was hoping to get into a team. I am hoping I can make it depending on my work commitments/Real life etc etc on Weds, and Friday nights.

Hiya, I am not to sure if you know this, but a group of people have resurrected SWG (NGE). Currently they have a Test Server up and running, to stress test the server stability etc. ProjectSWG is the link for it.

Serious? we get a stack of silly fireworks to celebrate this game being out for 1 year. Prft! what a waste of time that is. I would have thought BW would have thought of something more orginal that Fireworks.

1) Space-Control of Ships. Open Space Sectors that I can fly round in, Space PvP, and standard PvE spave Quests 2) Player Housing, and decoration 3) Open World PvP- Rewards system for being involved in OW-PvP (Open World PvP), similar/on par with Warzone Rewards.

I am not holding my greath that BW will do something about giving people a half decent reason to be involved in any form of Open World pvp.

OP- Nice post! I don't pvp as much as I once did.....but when i have pvp'ed recently I have been plesently surprised at the speed at which teh "regulars" decimate groups, and also at how well they work togather:) It is obvious from what I have seen lately theat there are quite a few people within the pvp community that not only know how to play their charcaters extremly well, but also work incredibly well togather as a group/team.

Things I would like to see: *Space/Ships": The ability to control my ship, and actually fly it in open Space sectors. It would be very cool if we could also include pvp in space, and also have "Quests" to do throughout the differant Space Sectors. Sorry but the "Space Content" we have in this game right now is frankly a bad joke......that should have been left out of an MMO. In its current state it is more suited to a 1st person shooter game. Open World PvP Ideas: a lotta people have come up with some very good idea's for open World pvp. This topic has already been thrashed to bits. Maybe one day BW will actually start to include some form of Open world pvp content into this game. cynically though I am not holding my breath that this will happen any time in the near future. BW has in the past "promised" stuff on this subject, in the past then failed to ever follow through on it, mainly because of other "issues" associated with open world pvp. (lag for one...servers not being able to handle large amounts of people in one area, and so on.) Player Housing, & Decorating I would love to see some form of player housing, and decorating included into this game. And please...NO....Ships are not Houses. They are ships. I am a big fan of decorating out Houses, and ships for my toons. It gives me something else to work on in-game, other than the usual "killing a trillon NPC's for so many cooms" Story (and also me crafting which I do enjoy! oh and also pvp)

I was thinking the same! 1 Mill creds is not much. I suggest if the OP wants to complain about 1 mill then maybe he should look at running all his toons through the HK-51 Quest line. That ways he won't have to worry about spending the 1 mill. The only other thing I can say to the OP is....well "oh please!.....whatever!". I had thought of several other things I could say...but well the GM's could take offense.

I played SWG when WZ's (Battlegrounds in that game) were launched. They didn't kill Open world pvp in that game. The vast majority of people did Warzones (in SWG) for the Gear/Weapons. Once I had the gear I stopped doing them as much as I once did, and focused back on open world Pvp. I liked the fairly large scale battles (with the oposing faction) that Open world pvp offered in that game. The Battles could go on for several hours at a time, or over the course of a morning/afternoon. It was very cool. The vast majority of people in that game, (that did pvp), prefered Open world pvp. But like myself they also liked WZ's, cause of the gear/Weapons. The rewards in Tor for OW-PvP atm is valor? In SWG it was called GCW. anyways thats my 5 cents.

yeah i hear ya. Unfutanelyas you have already said..... most people are way to lazy to co-operrate....or to be more Persise....to lazy to get off their backsides and organise a group of peeps for Open world pvp.

OP, I definatly like your ideas about Open World PvP. Who knows, maybe one day BW will actually do something about implementing Open World PvP content for people in this game, based around idea's like yours. I am however not holding my breath that BW will come to the party, and play ball on giving people a reason to be involved in Open wolrd pvp. Miracles have been known to happen though. As for the lag though....lag is always going to be a factor when a large amount of people, and NPC's get togather to whale on each other.

I do miss the player Housing from SWG, and EQ2. It was definatly a time sink for me decorating out me houses. I am not holding my breath though that BW will introduce player housing,and Decorating in this game. Frankly at this stage I am way way to cynical about that ever happening in this game.

m8 the sad thing was, I remember a posting from BW saying that they would Sometime Soon" do something about fixing Open World PvP". But heck it is their wallets right? Maybe I am being to cynical...but darn it all...I do want Open world pvP back in this game! I have always wandered what the other 60% said as they canceled their subs.

Agreed with a lotta of what you have said. I know a lotta other people that have un-subbed have said the same/similar things as what you have written. Unfortunatly at this stage BW is putting the bulk of their resources into making this game F2P. Who knows, maybe one day they will actually start to do something about bringing stuff into this game that we have been asking for, for the best part of the last year. But until then, have a new Companion, another FP, and WZ. Oh btw can I have fries with that?
