Agreed, I love my rocket boost, well worth the 4.5 million credits (btw I'm not joking, they're ace). Old information. If the average player still doesn't have over 400k then they are doing something seriously wrong.

TBH I hate the assault cannons the commandos carry. That being said, as a Powertech tank I certainly would not object to being able to use a blaster rifle/carbine.

I sell my items at the price I want to sell them at. I never bother to check what the current market price is, I just list them at what I think is a fair price. If they don't sell immediately, oh well, you get your deposit back so you haven't lost anything. Agreed. I played my bounty hunter as a true professional throughout his career (i.e. got the job done how the contract specified) and this still bothers me (and I'm not even a RP'er).

What about when you want your companions to fight to the death while you cheer them on? Definitely worth the time and money getting presence gear!

Ooh, nice idea. Perhaps is should be an option like trade, i.e. the person wanting to trade clicks and the other has to accept it. On the other hand, the internet being what it is nothing is sacred these days. Anyone that has played/plays "that other game" might be used to having themselves under the microscope via the armoury.

Find out which faction they are by making a level one character on both sides and trying to add them to your friends list. Send them an in-game mail explaining your situation and see what happens. If a reply is not forthcoming, it may be that they are either a placeholder character (which should become obvious by their character level, i.e. if they are level one) or an alt that is not played very much. If this is the case, it may be worth asking in general chat at peak times if anyone knows which guild they are in or if they are someone's alt. Although there is a lot of rubbish in general chat (a la Barrens chat) most people are generally helpful. Hope this helps.

Agreed. I collected a few datacrons post-patch and there was no quest marker above it but I still received it.

Have you tried contacting the guy who has your name in-game? It might be an alt or something and they may be willing to let you have the name if you ask them (or bribe them).

Sounds like you need to take a break from the game. Try not logging on for a week or two and see if you still feel jaded. I went through this phase until recently, but I'm enjoying our raiding and am levelling up another character atm. I'm still very much enjoying things

A lot of people seem to be bashing the OP for "poor problem-solving skills". While they could indeed use a work-around of logging in 20 mins before they play, this kind of misses the point. However, when the game went live many of us has queues of nearly two hours to get in-game. These queues eventually subsided and it is my belief that this will be the case with these queues. @OP: If you are still having to wait 20 mins to get into the game in a week or so, then you may have a legitimate concern. Until then, patience is a virtue

The pre-campaign gear set bonuses not transferring is indeed annoying, but we've just got to learn to live with it. Personally I got sick of the look of my rakata BH gear so just moved my armorings/mods/enh to gear that I liked the look of. I know I'm missing out on the set bonuses for the time being but they are not the be-all and end-all for me (I realise however that for some specs they are nearly mandatory, just not all.)

I hate carrying other people which is why I love 8-man raiding; it becomes obvious pretty quickly who is not pulling their weight and you can kick their freeloading *** to the curb.

I spend about 20 minutes a day dedicated towards making money and I make around 1-2 million credits a week. If I was really bothered I could increase that number to one million a day. Study your server's GTN and see what sells. Easy money.
