  1. I agree. The way stuns and CCs work in PvP is just wrong. Stun->break->stun->stun->death is just nowhere near a fun PvP experience. I have nothing against stuns mind you, just against a stun after stun after stun combo. The game is meant to be played, not spent watching your character die without an option to do something about it. This could easily be solved by introducing a few second stun immunity after the stun effect has worn off (either by breaking the stun or simply by surviving through the stun) so that I can, you know, have a shot at surviving the encounter.
  2. They JUST added a new flashpoint and increased the size of Kragga operation. What more do you want in a month? there's not much they can do about it, people like playing the bad guys, how can BW change what people enjoy doing? That is what the game was going to be like, they always said it is going to be like this, so while I agree that there's always just one way to go, it's just what many RPGs (moreso MMOs) are. Can't be fixed in 5 weeks Buddy, you have to realize that the game has been out for a month now. You can't expect them to fix bugs, improve crafting AND add new end-game content IN JUST A FREAKING MONTH. Give them some time, it'll get better. Or don't and unsub for a few months. But don't blame BW for not fulfilling your unrealistic expectations. Not listening? They're trying to fix ability dealy, there are gonna be macros, customizable UI (read the post where they talk about what's coming up)... Seems like they are adding/fixing things players are complaining about, which seems like the very definition of listening to playerbase to me.
  3. that's, of course, your choice and on one can blame you for nor should anyone berate you for it, but why do you people think that anyone cares? Why do you have to create a new forum post just to tell us that? Everyone here has is own brain to decide whether he or she likes the game or not; if s/he does, cool, if not, unsub button is right there. We don't care whether you keep playing or not, and we sure don't need you to explain your choice to us in a three-paragraph long forum post.
  4. mercenary; yes, loving the game ever since early access.
  5. Jesus Christ, when I started playing Lotro and got to the Everswim zone, I skipped the entire area because of how sick and tired I was of swimming all the time. Everybody, and I truly mean everybody, hated the zone because of that, and yet here on the SWTOR forums some people are whining about being unable to swim...
  6. would be awesome. Always loved housing in MMOs, displaying my hardly-acquired rare junk and stuff like that I think that this is something that wouldn't bother those who don't care about such things while make those of us who like this sorta stuff immensely happy. Win-win!
  7. sounds like an overheating issue to me...
  8. Wut? Unreadable wall of text, moving on...
  9. yep, in some interview with SR he said they know about it, that it's a bug and that they're working on it. Am too lazy to find the interview tho
  10. they're working on it. Not the first thing on their to-do list, but they're working on it.
  11. didn't read it, but I disagree. Loved Bioware ever since I was a kid, grew up playing their games, but they are just, I'm sorry to say, incompetent at managing MMOs. I'm not unsubbing since I still like this game, but if things don't change fast, I'm not gonna resub when my 3 months run out.
  12. I don't care if they do emergency maintenances during afternoon from time to time, but they could at least be competent enough to stick to their announced schedule, and if they know they won't be able to, at least. announce it BEFORE you fall behind it. Wasn't able to log in today at all because I figured that it's pointless since it's gonna be downtime soon, then they delayed it, now they've delayed it again... In the evening I'm going out, so I'm not gonna be able to play today. I don't care all that much, have other things to do anyway, but sticking to the schedule and announcing it in advance when they fall behind it is, I think, a common courtesy to customers who're paying you and financing the game...
  13. hate WoW, love SWTOR, but have to totally agree with this statement.
  14. how many have you played at launch, mate? It sure is one of the smootest, if not the smootest, launches I have ever been in. The game sure isn't perfect, but the launch pretty much was.
  15. and here I thought that there was some kind of a fake trial containing a trojan... And it's just another one of those reviews no one really cares about
  16. yeah, hate it to... Especially when Im leaving the planet after finishing all quests and can't wait to get out of there, the orbital station always makes me mad.
  17. And what a glorious day that will be. Can hardly wait! Xugos, get your facts straight and stop distorting any information ever put out so that it would fit your "the end is nigh" agenda. I'm now playing about an hour a day, on some days I don't even log in at all. Does it mean I am having less fun in game? No. Does it mean I am gonna unsub? No. I have finals at my university and have to study. My guild went from 60+ members online during peak hours to 20-30. Are those other people quitting? No, they just don't have as much time as they had during holiday. Christmas holiday has ended. People have other things to do than playing TOR all day long. Get that into your head and maybe you'll finally understand why everyone's flaming you.
  18. http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/131/351/eb6.jpg?1307463786 I agree with the OP, I hope they start fixing this asap, otherwise the game won't keep many costumers after the free month runs out...
  19. yeah, this is kinda pissing me off as well, the music in this game is cool, but I'd also like to hear it every once in a while...
