  1. Hey. Just wanted to ask what the situation with gear set bonuses is nowadays. Is the set bonus tied to the shell of the gear piece, or to the armor mod, or what? I have tried replacing an armor mod from underworld set piece with an armoring mod from the dread forged set piece (I hate the look of that set) and it warned me that if I were to do that, the set bonus from that item would be gone. So if I want to keep the set bonus, do I have to wear the fugly dread forged gear, or is there some way to keep the bonus while wearing underworld gear modded with df gear mods? Thanks
  2. Hey. I have resubbed and started playing swtor again after more than a year and have a question. What stat (accuracy, power...) should you stack nowadays? Back in my days, it was mostly crit and surge, is this still the case or has it changed? Thank you!
  3. So I just got HK-51 on my main, bought the unlock on my alt and summoned him. Now a red icon is blinking next to HK's icon telling me that he does not meet the requirements to wear the gear he is currently wearing. I have read that his gear is supposed to scale with his level but I also read that this was bugged few months ago and I could not, for the life of me, find whether this bug has already been fixed or not. So, has it been fixed? His stats seem to be way below what mine are, so I am not sure... Thanks
  4. wait a minute. WAIT A MINUTE! Face masks not showing on Sith Purebloods is WAI now? ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME?!
  5. Yet you felt the necessity to write this completely irrelevant and pointless answer to this thread. Bravo to you, sir. From this point on, I shall take YOU seriously. To stay on topic, I always felt that there should be 16 slots. There are, basically, 16 story lines, so it is only fair to assume that some people want to experience them all.
  6. Ah. The email I received says that "the free 30 days will appear on your account by April 24, 11:59PM CDT, April 25, 4:59AM GMT" Guess it was pushed back a day then. Thanks for clarifying.
  7. anyone actually received the 30 day reward or the pet yet?
  8. Anyone received the 30 days or the tauntaun legacy reward pet yet? It's way past 4:59 GMT and still nothing here
  9. I'm not arguing with you that something is wrong. The tooltip damage is higher than the damage the ability does ain reality, that is a fact. However, I was testing this yesterday for a good hour, both on training dummies and in warzones, and I usually did around 1800-1900 damage without any heat signatures and around 2300 with heat signatures applied. This equals to 25% damage increase. I didn't have any buffs applied on me. Right now, the damage is really low, especially for our hardest hitting ability with 15 sec cooldown, and it really sucks being a mercenary now--especially in warzones. But that doesn't change the fact that HSM still benefits from heat signatures and when 5 of them are applied on the target, the damage of HSM is increased by 25%. Armor penetration never had an effect on HSM even pre-1.2. The damage always got increased by roughly 25% after 5 stacks of HS were applied, so if anything, this problem has been there for ever, and only now has become much more apparent because of what they did to our damage. Again, I am not defending BW or saying that the changes they made are OK, because, as has been stated previously by other people, they redesigned this class with the bugged damage of HSM in mind and then increased that damage by another 10%. After 1.2.0c, the increase got decreased to a point where HSM isn't hitting much harder than TCM, and that is a problem. But I strongly believe that HSM is not bugged. It's just that by fixing this bugged ability, they completely crippled our entire DPS output.
  10. The damage of HSM still is increased by 25% when 5 stacks of the debuff are applied, so HSM probably really is WAI now. The damage is lower, so there probably really was a bug that made the skill interact with other buffs or debuffs or whatever. But heat signature still does increase the damage. The ac not being much else than food for other classes in PvP now is an entirely different problem that just begins with what they've just done to HSM.
  11. Yeah, you just won't be able to use it, obviously
  12. They gave it to people as an apology for not releasing ranked warzones in 1.2 and not announcing it until the patch was basically rolling out. If you're not 50, you still have stuff to do (level up, play hard modes, do operations). Many of the players with lvl 50 chars are bored to death and were sticking around only to try out the ranked warzones.
  13. Believe me, the truth does not make my blood boil. I really couldn't care less about this game anymore, and am only posting on the forum from time to time if I feel like I can somehow contribute to the discussion. I really don't waste my time with meaningless flaming and bashing the game, believe me. If you like the game, then more power to ya. Back on topic then. Sure, they aren't obliged to comment on anything. On the other hand, if they want to retain their customers and make them feel like those who get their money actually care, this utter silence and ignoration of what people are asking on the forums sure is not the way to go. I have played a lot of MMOs up until now and the only other MMO where ignoring and not answering almost any questions asked by their paying customers was SWG, and we all know how that ended. Heck, even there the devs answered at least sometimes. This is, hands down, the worst treatment of customers I have ever encountered in any MMO I have played. Now I'm not saying I have played every single one of them, so it's entirely possible that there's a company that treats their customers even worse (if that's even possible) but I have played enough of them to say that this silence and ignoration is not an industry standard. They can, of course, choose to be silent, but not every customer is going to be happy with that and in the end, the customer will take his or her money elsewhere. Some may not care, some may be happy that complainers are finally leaving, but let's see how many players are gonna be left for you to play with. The servers are empty enough as is, one would believe that BioWare would do their best to keep the ones left happy. In this case, however, one would be wrong.
  14. not sure if trolling or... You do realize you are a PAYING CUSTOMER, right? If your internet stopped working, would you just sit in front of your computer for days, weeks or even months waiting for it to start working again, or would you call your provider and ask him what's wrong and demand to have them fix it asap? And if the provider didn't answer the phone for several weeks or even told ya "yeah, we aren't gonna tell you what's wrong and when we'll fix it", would you just say OK, hang up the phone and kept on waiting? I think not.
  15. Yeah, I really wonder who, when seeing these monstrosities drawn on a paper, thought "Yeah, that looks awesome, let's put it into the game". I really, really wonder who that person responsible for making these kinds of decisions is, because that person needs to find a new job.
  16. Yeah, it plays during the infernal council fight (a boss fight right before Soa in EV)
  17. Yeah, because Warhammer is such a successful MMO that whatever feature is missing in that game might as well be missing in every other game, because those millions of players enjoying the game have proven those features to be not only unnecessary, but downright stupid.
