  1. The WZ pop is capped. And even if you are getting absolutely zerged on Illum, you'll still get your weeklies/dailies done -- unless you simply aren't trying. You may die more, you may need to camp a turret, you may need to go get the stragglers at central....but you WILL get it done too. So where is the IMBALANCE coming from slick? Doesn't make a lick of difference if your server is 4:1, it's still capped in WZ's. If anything, Empire has a harder time with a bigger pool of crappy players. If you are losing, look in the mirror first -- because your excuses and complaints make zero logical sense. BW can't make you gear out your greens. And if those are your records, like the last poster, maybe you should look inward. I've destroyed BM's in Champ. I destroyed Champs before I got champ. But then, I am a decent player and I took the time to still gear the best I could (which includes crafting, auction and dailies). I have my hotkeys bound on my mouse. I am situationally aware. I LoS threats. I will stall objectives if I can't win. I will focus on my team's targets. Etc. I bet despite what you say, the two of you do none of that. And that's the only difference that matters.
  2. I disagree with most of the OPs claims -- the only place the imbalance really matters is open world. And no, unless BW makes some serious changes or the numbers are even, that won't change. For WZ's though, it really doesn't take long to gear. And if you are just grinding to BM anyway, winning or losing doesn't really matter -- plus it's not like BM > Champ by any large margain. If you are losing most WZ's, chances are you are bad...or at the very least, the people you are playing with are bad. It's not a gear thing. I think pound for pound, Reps are better players. The lower pop means quicker burnout/quitting at 50, so most Reps that stick around are geared and addicted. And Reps play far less huttball. Just my theory though --- but I rarely had trouble winning WZ's, especially with the late night crew on Twin Spears(9 out of 10 wins on average...lucky if 2 count for the daily though ).
  3. People go for the greatest reward for the least effort. Always. So as a developer/designer, you structure your systems in a way that incentivizes to play "the way it's intended". The OP's suggestion is actually the opposite. Making your game less fun is a stupid & short sighted way to design unless your intent is solely to piss off your players. Nothing about the OPs suggestion is good and it will never happen.
  4. This game has a fair amount of "skill" involved, it's just that outside of 1v1, it turns into a focus fire affair/dps more than skill. It's Biowares fault for ramping up damage/heals with rather simplistic mechanics and aiming for fast paced pvp. Outside of 8v8 warzones, pvp is nothing more than a zerg fest. The game scales pretty poorly.
  5. Illum pvp isn't fun for most people (for a variety of reasons), so no -- the goal for most is dailies/weeklies.
  6. Kill trading doesn't matter, it's efficient within the system BW created. Why drag out the process with zerg fights/camping when the goal is still the same? As for the OP, Bio+already BM+no hotkeys+unmoved group bars= scrub hypocrite.
  7. No matter how many times the OP says it's not, it really a "l2p issue".
  8. Lightweight. Lineage is a real grind. Koreans are nuts -- I think they are all masochists.
  9. Damn russkies. try http://www.torstatus.net/ and look at the top servers -- then choose the type & coast that works for you.
  10. In game experience tells me your videos could help 100's or 1000's of people. Good video, I hope bad players learn these simple concepts, stop yelling for random nerfs and just get generally better. And make no mistake, EVERY class can benefit from using LoS to their benefit - yes, even merc/commando.

    Healing help.

I assume you mean shock frozen water.

    Frustrated!!!

I agree with most of what you said and the guy you quoted is clearly clueless -- but that said, our knockback is decent and useful in more than huttball. It's a poor mans interupt and a situational defensive/offensive equalizer.
  13. I love how people that do not know how to play desperately latch on to the idea that they are not terrible and something else is to blame (and thus needs to be nerfed). It's biowares fault too though, classes are really just rock-paper-scissors, combat is too quick and there is no combat log.
  14. Even the fanboys need external motivation to make SWTOR pvp "fun". Not surprising but good to see the admission
  15. I disagree. Still, was a nice substitute for KotOR 3.
  16. When you say silly things like this, you are just telling everyone else you have zero idea what you are doing. How is your OP sorc/sage doing btw?
  17. Tracer builds win 1v1 against no one that plays their class properly. No one. How is your OP sorc/sage doing?
  18. You know WoW merged some servers early on, though they blamed it on some fudementally broken servers (ie. Frostwolf). No one really complained. I think it's how they approach it -- "We greatly optimized our server capabilities and now are looking to combine several servers to assist in balacing faction populations." Sooner are later, Bioware has to address it...and if it's later, those people stuck on low pops will have long since left.
  19. I agree with the OP. My main server was Twin Spears and I had an alt on Nadd's. You can /who each zone, it's not hard. Population is currently abysmal. People can say, well my server is awesome! I'll take your word for it. But since low pop is an issue for a lot of formerly full servers, we still have to accept these people have either left or rerolled on the higher pop servers. Either way, not good for the game. And it's more likely they bailed than rerolled.
  20. Ah, but you are forgetting, if you rearrange the letters in STUCK, you get TUCKS....as in Tucks Medicated Pads...Medicated as in Medcenter. So as you can clearly see, Bioware intended the console command to be used after a Medcenter rez. The signs are all there. You people are blind if you can't see that. Until BW says differently, it's a feature. *covers ears* lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala

    Warzones Solved !!!!

    This. End of story.
  22. Whatever you want to tell yourself, swift. The labelling of an exploit or not by BW is irrelevant, they aren't going to do anything to enforce not abusing it. So Bioware has zero motivation to say anything. WHEN they fix it (and they will), that will make it clear it was unintended but this thread won't be around and you will have long since scurried away. So this is all meaningless. However, feel free to entertain me by trying to logically support to position that usage of /stuck command in this way is intended. Make a real, albeit stupid arguement instead of just crutching on "well if Bioware doesn't spell it out for morons, how will we ever know what an exploit is!!".
  23. There is something fundementally wrong with you. No intelligent discussion can be had when that is your reply. So for you and you alone: "Yes, they included /stuck so that on a Med Center Rez you could console command yourself to the location you died. It is in FACT an intended feature, not a bug. The only reason we have two rez options and disable one in certain locations was actually just for 'lulz'." You are a smart cookie
  24. I have the ability to deduce the inclusion of /stuck was not intended to plop players back to battle but was in fact included to solve...getting stuck. But hey, I am wacky like that. I don't need mommy BW to explain simplistic concepts like I'm five years old. It circumvents the two rez options we have, and the places where only med center rez is meant to be available. From the EA RoC: It is a violation to abuse or exploit bugs, undocumented features, design errors or problems in the game. From the BW RoC: 17.Exploit any bug in the Service to gain unfair advantage in the game and/or communicate the existence of any such bug (either directly or through the public posting) to any other user of the Service. If you are NOT smart enough to conclude the usage of /stuck for pvp is a design error and unintended then something is fundementally wrong with you. People that abuse is should be disciplined...but they won't. By the same token, we should be temp banned for even discussing this...but we won't.
