what if you cancel then pay the 15$ month sub fee on the 20th......profit??? I assume they would have something to prevent it but does anyone KNOW that to be fact?

I will have to try out hooking it up to my led lcd tv and see what happens. Im not sure what clock speed is being used but will find out when I get home from work. The strange thing is I also had similar strange issues in Beta where i would be fine running around 30-40fps in a crowded dense area and then suddenly for no apparent reason drop down to 10-15 until i restarted the client.

The little slash means and or lol On BF3 it was NOT on the highest settings

Other then doing Christmas with my daughter on the 20th and 21st I am scott free till new years. My Fiance plays too so no nagging over the holidays lol

see previous post where im running a geforce 555m and still having issues. The laptop I got a few months back has been able to run max settings on anything I have thrown at it so far

Hmm I also have a desktop with a quad core amd OC to 3.8ghz, nvidia 1gb video (forget model about 2 years old though) and 8 gb ram that does the same 10-20 fps. btw on both computers the fps meter is green which was video card to my understanding? edit: remoted to pc to get video card model. nvidia geforce gt 9600 Not a great card by any means but has ran games like rage and bf3 (yes i know they are fps games) at high/highest settings

There have been multiple reports of issues with higher end pcs having fps troubles. Hopefully a driver update gets released by nvidia cause i was getting between 10-20 fps last night on a high end computer 2.8 quad core intel geforce gt 555m 3gb (yes 3) video card 8gb ram Also try turning off shadows. As in beta this tends to make a big differance

Yeah in my experiance 3d vision works best in FPS games. MMOs kinda fall short due to txt and some skill animations. Played Rift a little in 3d and it was meh. TOR is probably gonna be the same but def gonna check out the space combat based on the review

bah can't find the link for the article but someone played it with nvdia 3d and said over all not bad. Nameplates were a bit screwy was the biggest gripe and space combat is supposed to be amazing. Didnt fiddle with 3d personally during beta but will test it out tonight when i get home. If i can track down the article I will link it for you

Everyone I know personally has pre-ordered the game. They do this for a MAJOR reason in the MMO world and that is for early access. Pretty sure the majority want the extra time as well and will preorder. I am also willing to bet that AT LEAST 60% (and thats major lowballing i want to say at least 75%) of players on the 20th will be preorders

I am going to hazzard a guess and say about 70% of EACH wave that got invited today cant play right now do to being at work/school. So yes right now the servers are light/standard and the herd is QQing about what they PRECIEVE to be BW taking off for the day. They send out the invites and now what they are doing is bracing themselves for the onslaught once people start getting off work/school. The rest of the day will be server monitoring/creation etc. I really dont see why this is so hard for people to grasp So yes if you didn't get into the game today that sucks and im sorry. Good news is based off of how many got in today you will get into tomorrow which is a lot earlier then would have happened originally.

lol and @ OP servers will be hammered this evening when people get off of work. They stopped waves because probably 80% of each wave is at work right now (like me) and wont be able to play until later. Why are people not able to grasp this concept?

While there are some things I think they could have done better (a Vague release schedule being number one) I think that over all so far has been pretty good. So a howdy from Dallas and crack open a bottle of whiskey BW.

Since day one they said when you preorder determines when you get in. All the people QQ just assumed it would be a short wait and now they want their golden ticket NOW! >.<
