  1. When your team holds one of the side turrets, a speeder appears on your dropship to take you straight there.
  2. You were not stunned 8 times in a row. Learn how resolve works.
  3. I like to MVP vote people who do things like using proper CC to peel for a cap/plant/score, and this is something that metrics can't really detect but people paying attention can notice.
  4. Yeah, targeting sucks in this game. One thing to try, though, is binding your next/previous target to your scroll wheel (I have my camera on ctrl+scroll instead). It's still not where it should be, but scrolling through enemies has worked better for me than tabbing.
  5. Actually I'm the most upset about this when it comes to Huttball. It means that we can't get to the ball carrier without giving them 40% resolve. Total nerf.
  6. Well that player shouldn't have been an idiot who deserves to lose for not paying attention when spawning.
  7. No. Objective points are a complete mystery.
  8. Part of being skilled is knowing how to play the map. If actually playing strategic is too much of a mental strain for you to manage then I wouldn't want you on my team even for TDM because you're obviously unintelligent. I wouldn't mind there being some sort of deathmatch, but to say that's "real" PVP is dumb. It's just easy mode PVP for people who want to turn their brains off and relax for a while.
  9. This is incorrect. In Voidstar, the winner of a tie is randomly chosen.
  10. Yeah. Juggernauts/Guardians are so overpowered when they use their infamous 31/31/31 build.
  11. You don't need to know the map at all to know East/West. Your minimap is always oriented with North at top so you should be able to know which way to go without having to move to check first. Yes, from mid it's only 2-3 seconds to get somewhere where you can see one side or the other, but it's only maybe .5 seconds to look at your minimap because you can do it from where you are. Also, I didn't even know "Grass/Snow" until after I hit 50 because nobody uses it on my server. People concentrating on a task tend to automatically filter out extraneous details such as the scenery if it isn't relative to the task at hand. See, for example, famous selective intelligence test.
  12. They all work, and I do usually use left/right (based on spawn) because that's the convention for Republic on my server. However, the issue with Grass/Snow is that if you're at mid and don't remember which is which you have to check visually, which could easily take 2-3 seconds since mid is so enclosed.
  13. Hell, I PVP almost every day and the fist time I heard of "Grass/Snow" being used I had to think for a second which was which, and even then I wasn't positive I had remembered right until the next time I played and actually watched out for it. Even still, if I'm at mid and can't see either side it would take me about 2-3 seconds to remember. Whereas a flick of the eye to check my minimap takes maybe .5 seconds.
  14. Then I honestly don't understand the confusion with East/West, no matter what faction you are. I mean, if you know you're facing south then you should know that East/West are Left/Right instead of Right/Left. ("You" general, not specific. You, I am sure, have no such problems. ) Maybe some people just need to retake elementary geography.
  15. So their map isn't flipped at all then... they're just facing south. Their map is still oriented the same.
