Man, back in 1996-2000 when I was in college, I played football, took a full course load of 15-18 hours, worked part time @ pizza hut, played my PS1 and Red Alert (online) everyday and still went out drinking at least 3-4 nights a week. Its just time and if managed correctly, you have tons of it. Even now I am a federal police officer, have a wife to please, a 6yo kid to entertain, working on my graduates degree, go to the gym everyday and still I have time to play this game for at least 2-3 hours a day. Time management is a beast...

Why should anyone read these forums? What constructive criticism will they find in the endless/mindless rambling of the simple minded youth of our failing society. You complain to complain while failing to grasp the concept that your complains are idiotic at best. But still, you complain and make claims that you will never play this game and that your subscription is canceled and yet, here you are day in and day out saying the same thing you said when you FIRST joined these servers back in Dec 2011. Honestly, why anyone (myself included) would have the desire to visit this section of the forums is beyond me. Outside of trying to shift through the garbage post that only complain about irrelevant issues (i.e. Butts looking to big under robes) to find a post that really identifies issues or gives some form of update on the games current state.(that does not include another simple minded rant about how WoW and Rift are better) Still after a month of free play and 20 post about unsubbing the game, people like you are still here, still trying to pis----s in my Cheerios.....

LOL he took the time to actually make a video based on his opinion as if it is relevant. This is an instant classic for me now. When ever I get drunk after a bad day, I will play this video and reassure myself that my life is great compared to that of others. I love how people can say sites like Gamespot and IGN are paid to produce a high rating. So games like Run Roo Roo for the Iphone must have paid IGN for their 8.0 ratings and games like Voltron: Defender of the Universe didnt pay IGN for their ratings so they get a 4.0.... this is just ignorant. Stop tyring to make up irrelevant statistics in order to support your limited comprehension of how the majority thinks....

Honestly, I tried to play rep, but after about 10 mins of trying to be nice (which is something I am forced by our current social standards to be on a daily basis) I instantly grew tired of the yes sir no sir mentality. Oh and the earth tones are just iTarded.

Yeah, I have read some have had issues with AMD 4 core CPUs haveing issues. But the hex cores rock this game IMO.

I tried the game on my older system which had a AMD phe II 1045t (6X) 2.70 GHZ and never saw a issue with FPS. I had a single GTX 460 and 8 gb of ram on a generic asus MOBO and it would sit around 30-35 fps on fleet, 60-80 fps on open words and around 25-30 fps in WZ. On my main system which has 1075T AMD phe II (6x), asus sabertoon 990fx mono, 2x gtx 460 sli, 8 gb of ram and my FPS are about slightly better. On fleet i sit around 40-50 FPS, 80+ FPS on open planets and round 40+ FPS in WZ. Honestly, I have never seen an issue with a single Phe II hex core CPU. Now, my laptop with its intel dual core 2.10 ghz CPU cant play this game worth a crap, but thats a laptop with the intel hd onboard GPU

Listen, I would like a perfect game, but let’s be honest, I was happy with SWG at its end which I should say even after 8 years still had a crap load of bugs. The question is, are these bugs a game breaker? Do they remove your ability to play the game? The other night i was on my alt and doing two quests on Tat. I would go to kill the shaman but when I would go to talk to the shaman after i defeated him, the dio sequ would never start. I sent a ticket in because no matter how many times I click "reset" quest, it did the same thing. I then decided to fully exit out of the game and restart. Well, the restart worked because when I logged back in, I was able to complete the quest. This bug sucked, but afterwards, i found out it was something i could correct on my end. Should I have to restart my game when something like this happens, No! But does it kill me to do so, No!. There is a difference between game breaking bugs that remove your ability to play content vs how someone's butt looks in a robe. Let BW mass produce content and flood the game with buggy content and then allow them to play catch up. Honestly, you can have one or the other, a short flawless game, or a longer more buggy game. I select a longer buggy game because I know bug fixes are easier to implement than content.

I award you 100 points for saying something intelligent. For some reasons these kids on this site refuse to understand the fact that there are more than 5 people who are responsible for making this game. Those who design the art style of the game are not the ones who implement the animations. Those who are responsible for identifying, correcting and implementing the corrections to bugs/exploits are not the same that implement new content. This is not SWG where you only had 10 people total who worked on the game…

when did I even compare the intel vs AMD cpus, i know the 3930 will destroy any of the phe II. It should because the phe II are a 2 year old Tech and the 3930 is Intels new baby. I disagree on the 580.. the EVGA 560ti has what, 830ish+ core clock with around 1700 shader. The gig 580 sits with aroudn 795 core clock and 1590 shader clock (unless you get a OC/SC version). There is no way the 580 is 20% faster than the 560ti. I agree its better with 100+ more cores, but not 20% better.

most people I have read complaining about FPS issues are using their 2008 Laptops with 2 gb or ram on a win 7 64bit OS. Honestly, I can only think of a few "FPS issue" post that would list their specs and when they did, wow, yeah not top of the line. Now, I know when I use my sony vios laptop with its Intel 2.10 ghz dual core, 3 gb or ram, and on-board intel HD GPU, the game looks and plays like crap and even on the lowest settings, i get around 12fps. But that in no way is a top of the line rig like my desk top is... so, yeah, I need to see more specs to believe great rigs are having issues.

I have a question, what is considered to be "frame rate issues"? Is anything around 20 an issue? Is anything around 30 an issue? I sit at around 30-38fps in WZ and 60-69 on planets while 20-25 on fleet. Even at 20-25 while on fleet I do not think I have issues and do not see a issue with it. So I guess I am with you in the fact I do not have any FPS issues. But I guess if I was a 15 yo child who is use to having mommy pop her milk glands in my mouth when I am hungry then anything under 40 would be an issue....

MOBO: That is a nice MOBO with 4 PCI(16) slots, supports both SLI/Crossfirex, but is a standard size (make sure your case is not set for micro boards only) = 269 CPU: Strong and fast with good core speeds. The 6x core is a great CPU (at least the AMD Phe II are) = $599 RAM: Gskill is a good brand but 16gigs is high and overkill. = $89 GPU: the GTX 580 is a crazy GPU and is a waste of money. It performs only a fraction better than the GTX 560ti and is twice as much. = $509 so far you have spent $1466 and you havent even stated what type of case, cooling system, fan support and software you will have. I do not know if you are upgrading an existing Rig or building/having one built from scratch. But you can add $199 for Win 7 prem 64 bit version or $99 for Win 7 prem OEM version. Your tower with that MOBO, CPU and GPU will need to have atleast a 750 (80+) PSU and will need to support a standard board format. The case will need to offer a good air flow because from what I have read about the Gig 580, it gets how and MOBO temps will skyrocket if you do not support it with atleast 2 120mm fans around teh GPU area. Honestly, if your desire is to play this game with no issues on both max in game settings as well as card control settings, then you are spending way to much. When it is all said and done, you will have spend close to $2k on a system that will be outdated in a year. The new NVIDIA GPUs will be out in a few months and the INTEL chip, well, its great but its $$$$ and is only a bit better than a AMD hex corer version. either way, good luck!

My first class was warrior/juggy and I have to say the end of act 1 was awesome and the result from act 1 is a great addition (not to give anything away). I also have a lv 33 sith Inq which I like more, but the storyline is not as good as the juggy I think. It still has a good storyline, but for some reason it dosnt have the urgent desire as my juggy had. I started playing a jedi (wizard or what ever they are called) but for some reason the Jedi (we love everyone attitude) kind of was lost on me. But overall, for storyline and comps, warrior is great.

really, in what way has it been shrinking? I logged on last night at 1930 and I saw a crap load of heavy servers a crap load of standard servers and only 2 light servers.... but you say the server populations are shrinking but yet, they still appear the same......but you said they are shrinking........and I cant....oh nevermind. I dont know because I am only a "fanboy" what ever that means. But I am sure it is meant to be insulting in some way. I guess it means that I am a Star Wars fan so I will support the concept of the and what the game is based on rather than the quality of the game.... Well I guess they are right. I do pretty much accept this game regardless of any/all game issues. Well mostly because I am smart enough to know the game has only been out for around 5-6 weeks and with that, there is room to grow/improve. I started playing on Dec 20, 2011 @ 1430 and I have still not made it to lev 50. I haven't even played any of the flash points except for boarding party, so there is still tons for me to do IG. But, if people are unhappy it is mostly because no matter what is given to them, they will never be happy. Anything that does not redefine their social perception on life will never live up to their expectations. They left WoW for a reason because it had become boring and dull, but because this game dosnt allow them to be the top-dogs like they were in WoW, they automatically disapprove of anything the game offers. I think most of them who hate this game saw the trailers and thought that was how the game was going to look. silly people!!
