i tried the story, i got like 5 chapters in and it was pretty bad, and just kept getting worse. i hear it doesn't get better so i probably wont go back to do more. mmos aren't known for the story though so i wasn't really expecting much.

i didn't see anything on any national news, but they showed a video of it on a local news channel here.

i guess im lucky but iv been here since launch and have never seen hacks. but i hear about it. its probably because the kids who get bored do it while bioware is away on vacation so they can do it longer without getting caught. there will probably be someone still doing it after bioware gets back but im going to guess most of it will stop. i remember it being like that last year.

im also starting to burn out. the new gear system is ruining the game for me and a lot of other pvpers. im only level 17 and i doubt il ever get gear. i was thinking of trying planetside 2 again, its a fun fps mmo if you can get good at it. i left it a while back because i didn't like what the devs were doing to it, but it can't be worse than what bioware is doing to swtor. no idea how it is now. but its free and you can unlock everything with time played so its not as restrictive as this game if your just giving it a try.

well that was pretty mean and deceptive. did you at least tell them bioware stopped caring?

harbinger is the only choice. there are a few other servers that could work but they will soon end up like bastion. no point in going to any other server if its just going to die.

i think the best way would be to make an operative and practice taking objectives yourself. then you will learn how to counter the class better once you know how they are played in that situation.

oh no, someone got scammed into not having to pay for sub time for a week. so devastating. this has got to be the most life- ruining scam i have ever heard of. better start calling lawyers guys. i really don't understand why people think those people are getting scammed. they wanted a free week so they clicked a referral link. nobody forced them to, they made that decision. maybe they just wanted the free week. why do people care so much about what other people do? and if someone offers to pay and they don't, well i guess that's how you learn with how to deal with sketchy internet offers. better to learn it with some stupid referral link than with something real.

maybe with a good team. but they have worse cds and no off heals. and they are close range.

i was playing merc earlier, and the last game i played i hit a 43k. i dont know how different it is at 70, i was level 65. but merc seems like one of the better classes to me.

bioware would never make something like that, you are better off playing battlefront. or call of duty, i hear it plays the same.

that's exactly what i was thinking too. when i first saw it, all i could think was wow that looks really bad. i know you don't use a pike like that.

why bother? its just going to die. why go through all that trouble of moving and getting used to a new server? i have switched servers like 3 times, might as well stay on a server you know wont die. of course if bioware gets their way with this rng gear bs, harbinger might not be that far off itself.

if this gear grind is half as bad as i have heard, then its going to suck. do you think i have all day to grind gear for about 10 alts? i like to play a lot of alts. im also more of a casual player than i used to be. i don't have all day to play this game. some people have jobs. before i could just send commendations over to an alt and he would be fully geared without playing a single warzone at a disadvantage. yeah you could grind away your gear right as it comes out and not have to deal with it... on that one character. and thats if you have the time. its not going to be fun going up against fully geared premades while im just trying to get some gear. then you have to deal with starting over every time they feel like adding another level of gear. so yes, i really think the enemy teams are going to be fully geared while i have leveling gear.

i like the servers that are still active. harbinger, and... and uhh... harbinger.
