remove the long stupid cut scenes out of voidstar too! I've come in and the speeder tour of ship ends just after the match starts and the first wave doesn't get completely out because of the cutscenes....

Leaver punishment is both good and bad. Something needs to be done about people leaving a match mid game it really puts one side at a severe disadvantage. I've seen one person join and leave the same match 3 times on Alderaan. HOWEVER I have been hit by biowares sloppy design and been kicked out of several huttball matches that i've come into mid game because i didn't have enough time to run from the start room to the field because i was trapped behind the blast shield. Also been kicked out of a Void star matches because the blast shield wouldn't let people out. it stayed up an entire match and people were dropping out like flies because they couldn't even join the game. Punishment is good but unless they fix some sloppy underlying issues it will punish everybody for bio-wares bad design.

dear lord i remember those days in WoW. guild group was in WSG all fairly high ranking 10+ it was 2-0 and one warrior in T 2.5/ T3 comes in . HE solo ran the flag back 3 times and won for them. he even stopped mid field and just let the whole team beat on him and laughed for a minute. good times

part of your problem was right there you should have had 6 bags to open at 50. that would have been 90 Centurion and 42 champion tokens and a good shot of a Champion unasembled piece right off the bat.

never played a sorcerer have you They can easily get 75K healing and damage in a WZ. especially if they poke themselves to do it.

Blame MMO's in General In the old days you had to walk both ways up hill in MMO's in the snow eating cold gravel while being whipped by fish heads. EQ1, UO, SWG, EVE there were consequences to actions. you lost something every time you died...gear xp...friends...family .... cats and dogs it was pure chaos!

Did the exact same PvP'd to 50 was Valor 50 when i hit level 50. I had enough for 6 bags. bought several centurion pieces and got a Champion implant in my first 6 bags. 3 days later after doing dailies and the weekly had full centurion and 3 pieces of champ and was valor rank 53/54 (largely due to getting the Ilum weekly done) IF you started With 6 bags there is no reason you shouldn't be full centurion by the time you finish your first set of weeklies. so 3 to 5 days after you hit 50. You should also be sitting around 400 Expertise. EDIT: I wish the 1-49 was MORE geared the lack of available gear from PvP'ing is truly disturbing.

To the OP The really sad thing Is you sold out your standards because of peer pressure . If you don't stay true to who you are who are you really? I get a laugh out of the idiots who drop the same match the same side 3 times or more in one game. Part of the problem is Bio-wares the other part is the players. Bio ware Poor gear itemization Poor reward mechanics Clunky system with reward caps Poorly designed Worlds and War zones from a PvP prespective (Open world PvP design is a joke pre-50 and ilum sucks as well) Extremly bad design on making Battle master gear available However that's no justification for exploiting the system as it is. Players Under geared players but thats easily remedied after a few matches Egotistical players that's a fatal flaw. they land on both sides of this debate .

i was thinking how nice it would be last night while doing the ilum 500 roundy round.

you have a matches with all 4 classes? That'd be nice. I never seem to have ops or juggies on the team it's usualy just sorcerers and Bounty hunters.

I did go all the way in PvP and where's all these credits Im supposed to have ..oh yeah skills and crafting and companions ...so when i hit i was still broke.

On the bright side Bio-ware fixed the /stuck bug ilum so they have to walk back to their bodies if they aren't rezzed by a friend..... Kill trading has long made Ilum a joke.

Maybe Bio-ware should have more gear available then for PvP'ers instead of 20/40. PvP'ing all the way to 50 gets you 2 maybe 3 pieces tops of lvl 50 gear when you turn 50 assuming you had enough for 6 bags when you turned 50. I'm not saying that you should be fully geared out as soon as turn 50 but the Gear jumps in available PvP gear is rediculous. Short of field stripping Weapons at 580 Commendations a pop for the chips there is no real way to Get PvP stats and gear post 40 for a 50 except going in with A) Sub Par PvP Gear or B) PvE gear. Itemization in this game is very poor especialy for PvP gear. Making standard PvP gear prices 300'ish for main armor pieces and 580 for weapons for centurion Gear and then requiring Champion and battlemaster tokens for those sets would help a lot for people going in under geared for PvP.

exactly Honestly it sounds like the OP got off easy if they were just fighting mid. Most of the matches I get in if the team isn't winning in the first minute or two it looks like this: Player A has left Player B has left Player C has left Or you get a player who logs in only to collect his reward and hides in a corner and doesn't interact with the opposing team at all if they can help it. these players are far worse than the leavers or the kill happy people they make you one man down and you can't replace them. Warzones in SWTOR are not fun most of the time.

Tracer,tracer,tracer,heat seeker, Rail , unload... then repeat.

2.5 K heal, 5k Heal and 75K healed. 3 medals right there. the person with 3 medals had 80K healing done.
