  1. I have a small group of people that are left from our dying guild of 150 or so members. We are interested in a mature guild that participates in warzones, HM flashpoints, Ops runs, and socializing with TS3 or Vent. There are 3 of us and possibly 2 more who are willing to join. Reply to this post or send Voxnyx an ingame email. Thank you.
  2. Well, I normally log in and do a few dailys and just see if anyone in the guild is online. Latley out of 159 members, we have 1 - 4 people online at one time. I recently canceled my subscription because I just don't play enough. Diablo 3 is sadly more entertaining lol. SWTOR is a great looking game with great story behind the classes but I'm afraid the entire core of the game is flawed. It is too linear and rail driven. For a virtual world to consist of planets within multiple star systems or galaxies, it doesn't feel very big. There is no social side to the game either. Most people que solo for flashpoints, pvp , and solo dailys as well. There isn't any content that is community based such as player housing, player driven economy, player cities, faction bases, ect. Im waiting for the day that someone makes a next gen mmo that is similar to the content Star Wars Galaxies had but improved. This would be a game worth playing...
  3. I am a clicker and I still own your face. Keys are not faster. It depends on the player.
  4. Ok so how do you do a preorder early access in a game that is already launched? Is it fair that a paying subscriber that preordered the update isn't allowed to play it until those that preordered before Jan 7th get their 5 days in? This sounds like a way of punishing players for being cautious before buying. Only those who jump on the pay now button get rewarded. How can you restrict players from a new planet that they purchased for the same amount of money? And you can word it however you like " early access" " 5 day head start" , whatever, but its more like this, " If you didnt preorder before Jan 7th you will have to wait 5 days longer to play the content you purchased, but thank you for buying. " I get the whole early access for a launch of a game but i do not get early access for a launch of a game update. And please don't call it an expansion, there is not nearly enough content in this to be called an expansion. Hoping this game takes a turn around, im enjoying it for the most part, I just wish Bioware would stop playing the favorites game with its customers. And yes I buy Cartel coins and yes I am a subscriber, so I more than enough support this game and feel that I along with everyone else who pays to play should get to play the new update when it launches, not have to wait 5 days. Do the right thing Bioware.
  5. Just incase the Bioware team actually reads these suggestions....please read....you may learn something... I want to say that if you are wondering why your game has failed so fast that you had no choice but to go free to play just to keep this game going, I will tell you why. First off, you all thought if you made a star wars mmo similar to wow, people would love it. Well, maybe if this game released about 5 or more years ago that might have happened. What actaully happened is most people who play wow will not play another game like wow. It would be like owning minecraft and fortress craft. Why would you play both when they are so similar? You are going to play the best version which is usually the origonal. So with that out of the way, I'd also like to say that no matter what you do to this game, it will never be successful. And I will tell you why. The entire core of this game is flawed. First being the linear feel. It seems as if you are set on a straight path and you follow it to the end. You are bound by walls, cliffs, mountains, ect to keep you from venturing off the beaten path. Second, you seperate the players too much. When you are questing you rarely see other players around you which makes the game feel like a one player rpg. A mmo is supposed to have that massive multiplayer feel. When other players are scattered so much, it loses that feel. Third, the companions and crew skills seem very lazy and dull. Players being forced to use a companion is not how a mmo should be. I amongst other players, do not like to use pets in mmos. If I dont use a companion I am gimping myself. The crew skills feel very lazy. You send a companion out for stuff and wait until he comes back, pretty dull. Fourth, looting is boring. Nothing you can loot is worth anything. Even purple world drops are not sought after. Most quest and dungeon gear are better. Loot is 99% junk that you just sell to a junk vendor. Fifth, space combat is lame. It may have been ok for an older mmo, but for a 2012 mmo, ya well.. Sixth, dungeons are too big. Noone wants to spend 2 - 4 hours in an instance. ( and im not talking people who have run them a hundred times and have all the best gear, im talking people who are beginners to an instance ). It is discouraging to do instances when your first few times you spend 4 hours clearing them. Instances should take no more 40 min but preferably 20 min. Most of us do have other things to do besides clear a billion trash mobs to get to a boss. Seventh, pvp is nothing more than a grind, and it also takes away the biggest part of the world population and places them in instanced pvp. MMo's need to have more world pvp stuff such as wintersgrasp in wow. Areas where you can go in, complete objectives, get rewards, and leave the area when you no longer want to pvp. Random battle areas would also be cool, never Knowing which city will be under attack each given day. I could go on and on but im sleepy. But I must say, I honestly think no matter what you do to try and save this game that it is doomed from the start. You would have to change the entire game to make it good, and we know that wont happen. Whatever happened to the good old sandbox style game? A game where you can go anywhere and do anything without too many restrictions. A world that really draws you in and makes you feel a part of it. Someone will get it right one day im sure but its definatly not going to happen anytime soon, Everyone seems to be stuck on the traditional wow style mmo developing. Doesnt seem like anyone can come up with a true immersive world. Good night ...

    PvP Alts

Forgot to factor in the daily and weekly. That would cut my numbers down a bit. But lets say without the daily and weekly. at 90 to 145 comms per match and the entire warhero set is 28250 rated comms and 10000 warzone comms. you need 653 to 1052 pvp matches for just warhero gear , thats not counting battlemaster. Even if you cut that in half with doing dailys and weeklys assuming you had time to do it 7 days per week, its still a lot of matches to play.

    PvP Alts

Just wondering how many of you have more than one class level 50 and geared? I just dont see it possible to gear more than one class unless maybe you play 7 days a week 12 - 18 hours per day. I play roughly 4 days per week for around 4- 8 hours per day, and I am probably half way done with war hero gear. All I do is nonstop pvp when i am on. I did take a break for about 3 weeks before 1.3 hit so i expected to be a little behind from that. I guess the point im trying to make is that its pointless to even play an alt character since its barely possible to finish gear on your main. Has any of you geared more than one? How much do you play? Oh and just an fyi, I usually finish close to the top of the boards and win probably 75% of matches played, so I am earning about 90 - 145 comms per match, but when you break it down its only 90 - 145 / 3 = 30 to 48 rated comms per match. It literally takes a few hundred matches to get a full set of gear at the fastest rate. Thats a bit much isnt it?
  8. I have a 50 Gaurdian that I havnt played in months. Was wondering if I deleted him so that i can take his name and make a new character, would I lose my legacy unlocks with that character , such as the Jedi knight buff?
  9. Its ok, although sometimes i feel like im killing my self to get my metals and because the rest of my team is bad, I get like 25 medals. Frustrating.
  10. You are right , they need to give a set amount of comms even if you lose. makes no sense to do a warzone for nothing . i feel for all the new players with no gear, its gonna be a bit rougher road than the pre 1.2 grind.
  11. The first few matches I did, I got about 4 or so medals ( was getting used to my new spec ) after losing I got 0 comms and 0 credits. After pounding out about 15 more matches with 9 wins, I noticed i was getting about 85 - 200 comms for wins and 30 - 50 for loses. These next 15 though I was getting about 8 - 12 medals per match. I like the new system although i think everyone should get a set amount of comms for a loss. My reasoning for this is when new people enter warzones, you tend to have to carry them due to there gear. I should not be punished because I lost a match because half my team were new 50's. The new 50's in turn should not be punished because they are going up agianst geared and skilled pvpers and cannot do much of anything. these xtra comms would help them gear a little faster so that they can compete with the much more geared and skilled pvpers. Just my 2 cents. I know alot of people are upset at the new system only because it seems much harder than pre 1.2. I think a set amount of comms for win and loss would balance things out better and make everyone feel that their pvp experience is worth while.
  12. I definatly play pvp for fun. The gear is just an incentive to pvp more. It does suck a little that when you get all the best gear and you have nothing to spend your tokens on . I think you should be able to buy other things beside gear with them or maybe even trade them for credits. I enjoy the pvp regardless of the rewards, but like i said , the incentive is there which makes me want to pvp more.
