No older cars run much better because you figured out that square whells are bad and not all that efficeint and you learn that soda pop doesn't make the car go, you have to use this stuff called gass-O-lean or something..took a while on that one.. If it wasn't in a Movie it's not cannon, you want to know how I know that , Because George Lucas does NOT consider it cannon. Ole George discarded mountains of EU "cannon" when he made the prequels. This doesn't make many of the EU books bad, some are excellent, BUT only the Movies are Cannon.

People who are considering buying this game may look at this forum before they buy(something I wish I had done) don't want them to know the awful truth.

I don't think you get why many are outraged over the run and jump, platforming aspect of Datacron finding. "Terrain exploitation" and "exploration" are not the same thing. "Exploration" is getting a complete map, searching every corner of the map to see everything. That is a worthy objective in a RPG. Why can't I use my lightsaber to cut the metal gate that seperates me and the datacron (Nar Shada) or use the force to drag the datacron closer to the gate so I can activate it. Instead I have to do a bunch of jumping on pipes and take a convoluted and contrived path to get at it... Can you see what I am saying? And how it doesn't fit in a RPG game?

YOU just don't get it BUT I will explain it for you as I have nothing better to do (waiting on the laundry machine to cycle) Those unhappy with the game post because they are "Venting". They know nothing will change BUT they feel better because of "Venting" AND they have paid $60 AND that does entitle them to the use of game resources. If someone crashes into the side of my new truck, scraming and yelling will NOT fix it BUT I shall do it none the less, WHY because it's better than caving someones's head in with a brick , at least in the long run , AND makes me feel better about something that should NEVER have happened. I like the fall animation (where my Jedi would roll) , it was a nice touch I also like the Orange gear , nice touch I like the ship being a mobile headquarters It is easier to make a list of the things I liked in this game than the inverse I have 3 more days of gaining some level of entertainment from this product

Oh oh reviews WoW:deleted 4 level 70s and a lvl 60 when Wrath launched, unsubbed and uninstalled TOR: Unsubbed and uninstalled within 2 weeks WoW is the winner as it kept me playing from Vanilla (when Nax 40 first got put into the game) up until Wrath, wouldn't play either at this point.

Datacrons are a complete and utter rip-off of Logos-thingies from Tabula Rasa even the toons reaction to activatinbg them is the same. Datacrons was one of the deciding factors for not re-subbing, what is required to do them would amount to exploiting in any other game. Presicion jumping wall walking , terrain exploits. Much of it is visualy absurd as you can make jumps you shouldn't be able to. HEY I am a jedi I can jump 20 or so meters, why can't I jump up on that low roof or that wall it's less than 10 feet. Hey can I move this crate ? Can I have my companion boost me up? Are there any SPACE ladders anywhere , maybe at the SPACE home depot? It doesn't fit the game genre or the setting.

If anyone is still looking for one of these they still Have 2 collector edition boxes at the Bestbuy in Brockton Massachusetts. Just wanted to pass it along to those who truly love this game and would want such a thing

Passion is a loss of control. As a much younger man I was driven by passion, things that frustrated me , made me angry , then they got smashed. That is the Dark Side of the Force. Think the Incredible Hulk, anger, smash. How do you use the force? If it rely on strong emotion to bend the force to your will, that's the Dark Side. If you calm yourself , dispell all thoughts and feelings and follow the flow of the Force , that is the light side.

I can understand leaving this game BUT going back to WoW...that makes no sense...WoW Jumped the shark with areana and jumped again with Wrath and jumped again with CAT...now it's just funny...It shows you what you can get away with when your competition just doesn't care or is grossly incompetent.

Even IF this game "Fails" , it won't fail that quickly, it would take at least a year for it to go belly up, and a game with this much "Juice" (ie big name cmpanies and well recognized setting) much much longer...Just look at SWG it took years for it finaly to fade to black.
