  1. Exactly, and that's also one of the big gripe I have of auto-self cast when nothing is targeted. I'll click on a portrait (and I'm positive I clicked on it) but the game didn't register it. Add the very awkward UI (which your selected target appears on the opposite right, when your group UI is on the left), and I just wasted a cast on myself.
  2. This is something I've been struggling with a lot; when no target is selected, the heal is casted on yourself. In WoW that could be disabled, but I didn't find where to disable it in SWTOR. I find this very annoying, esp in warzones where my heals go wasted on myself when my targets die. I'm wondering if other people are annoyed by this or if I simply overlooked a game option.
  3. Oh, I'm just using fraps and I use windows movie maker to edit. Pretty generic stuff.
  4. I've seen the 2 Rishas thing. I've also had 2 Corso Riggs, one in the cargo bay and the other in the cockpit. At first I thought I was going insane.
  5. I like the trenchcoat and jackets, but the cape looks really retarded.
  6. I love my smuggler... almost level 50! I have my recorder running sometimes when I play, so I immortalized a couple of funny convos I got here and there. Some quotes in this topic are there in my videos too. One of my fave is when the smuggler says to Bowdaar "I'm generally pro-freedom... and pro-suns. I like suns." Video 1 Video 2
  7. The pimp coats are awesome. The fur lining just does it for me.
  8. Captain Ira Silverwings, field medic and balls-kicker extraordinaire. http://i.imgur.com/kscdp.jpg
  9. Corso is pretty awesome for sure. It's too bad I maxxed his affection out. Now I'm rocking with Bowdaar. He's ok though, he likes the same kind of dialog options than what I picked with Corso.
  10. I play a female scoundrel and I can count at least 3 characters that are not companions and can be flirted with.

Very impressive. Your characters look very alive. (subbing to this thread so I can find this post again )
  12. I found that a lot of the bonus quests on coruscant are incremental kills therefore kind of annoying, but as you level to higher planets they tend to be more of stage 1 kill something, stage 2 destroy/collect something and then stage 3 kill a boss
  13. I like it, it's pretty fun. I definitely want to try at least 3 of the ingame classes stories.
  14. On the server I am, the amount of people on the republic fleet's been increasing, especially this week, so either there was a massive empire exodus to republic for us or the server I'm on is getting more players. So I'd say it's actually getting better. I think it's the outrageous server cap limits that they had on early game access that made the server populations look over-inflated.
  15. There's a lot of moments that I found really funny playing my smuggler. I recorded a few of my favorite there In there, my faves are "A blaster's faster - heh that rhymed" and "See Grall, PROBLEM SOLVED" I've also been playing as an imperial agent with a friend that's rolling a bounty hunter and some of the things he say are just to die for.
  16. I had no problem getting the first speeder at level 25, however I couldn't afford the lvl 40 one until I hit level 42. This said, I managed to max out investigation at lvl 30. If I hadn't grinded investigation I would've had plenty of credits to afford the speeder. It's pretty easy to make quick buck. I think the prices are fine.
  17. Overall an 8. It still needs to iron a few things out, like ability delay and the AH interface for example, but the story experience and replayability is pretty great.
  18. I can safely say that the branching dialogs in SWTOR are far more intricate than what was done in, let's say, Dragon Age 2 (not that it was really hard to do, though). And NPCs do react to some of previous picked choices.
  19. Theheadcapper: Jennifer Hale's awesome, I really love the Smuggler's female voice acting, she's sparky and funny. Some of the NPCs are pretty awesome too (like Grand Moff what's his name? Simon Templeman). Anyway.
  20. No way. Some of the voice acting (emotion, tonality, or silences) adds much more that just reading it. I've always played Dragon Age, Mass Effect without skipping any conversation. The voice acting's just too good.
  21. The voice acting is totally worth it. Skipping the cutscenes imo is just a sin. That's like not reading the conversations in Baldur's Gate 2. Why are you even playing this game? Also, some of the sidequests have some of the better/funniest responses out there.
  22. I made a little video of some funny lines and moments I got while leveling my smuggler. Spoilers beware of course.
  23. I romanced Corso. I was positively surprised. He's pretty awesome.
