In fact, though it wasn't part of your question, you can do the same with some other companions...and like using single instead of double the DPS drop isn't noticeable.....Jorgan can use a rifle if you don't like cannons...Corso a pistol or rifle, Kaliyo pistol or rifle...Risha, Gault, Zenith can use rifles instead of snipers if you want. etc. It's nice cause it adds variety and since companions use a different "skill" system than we do as players you seriously won't even notice a difference (probably have to use some dps parse to even see it)

first one I opened was a krayt dragon skeleton, which sold for like 6mil...have gotten some other cool ones but it was the best selling one.

There is a dps drop, but not even worth mentioning really. See I KNOW what I'm talking about. Unlike you. I've been equiping all but Xalek with single instead of polesabers since launch. There's already animations for their attacks even for single blades. Because they don't use all the animations/abilities the player does, which is why the player can't do the same without gimping themselves. Seriously, check your facts before you spew false information. OP - As I said, yes you can. And the dps drop is literally so small you probably won't even notice. In fact the 186 mods are good enough if you don't like the 192 un-moddable doubles Yavin sticks you with. As I said, I've been doing it since almost launch. They perform just fine with a single and it's almost not even noticeable since the dmg the hilts do is on standard attacks, not their "skill" attacks.

in reality I bet it'd be hard regardless of how "open-minded" you are. think about it, rough tongues would hurt her (or any male/female) the teeth. the smell. the diseases you might catch (from any species not your own) etc. People just tend to think they may look different but everything works, smells, tastes, functions like a humans. If you think about it just about any alien-human "romance" would be nasty.

No it's not. And if BH's get to use rifles I want Rifles on my Commando, without losing abilities...I want single bladed sabers for my assassin's/shadows without gimping them..I want double bladed sabers for my Knight/Warrior...Rifles for my smuggler...pistols for my Operator...etc. Unless they do it for ALL they shouldn't do it for ANY. and regardless it's certainly not a change that "needs" to be done.

It's an online game that requires the running of servers, paying people to make new content and upkeep those servers, among other expenses a single player game doesn't have since once it's out there's no more expense for it, minus any patches to fix broken stuff. This packs armors look terrible. I wish the arms weren't tied to the chestpiece...I want a cybernetic arm without having parts of my chest/back bare...can we get a solid NORMAL chestpiece with cybernetic arm(s) Only thing worthwhile out of this pack is maybe 2 of the mounts and the deco's...think I'll save my CC's this time and just buy some deco's off the GTN once the timer's up. And that orange crystal is hideous..let's get away from these please.

The SWTOR team is only BioWare by name. And only because EA owns them. BioWare isn't the BioWare of old anymore. Not by a long-shot. So "relax it's BioWare" means nothing, and they're hardly the "masters" of RPG's anymore. And the men/women that made the "old" BioWare great aren't even around anymore. Sooo..yeah.

I'll assume it'll be faction specific because even with what they're doing having companions be available to either side makes no sense...DS Jaesa would never work for republic and they wouldn't have her anyway..for instance....and stick to what we already have (as others have stated) And it depends on the toon...I have a Rep and Imp Main..but a lot of alts...I'll stick to the two "mains" Jedi Knight Melee Tank; Scourge Ranged Tank; Iresso Melee DPS; Nadia Ranged DPS; Rusk Healer; Elara Imperial Agent Melee Tank; Xalek Ranged Tank; Pierce Melee DPS; Ashara Ranged DPS; Vette Healer; Mako This would vary slightly depending on how much Iike the new companions...for instance if Lana is a healer type she'd definitely take over in that spot for at least my JK. It would vary depending on the toon for my alts..as I said. What I would REALLY LOVE...since the VA's are coming back and there's the time-lapse and seperation is if they recorded NEW romances so you had the option to switch to romancing a viable "new" companion.....My Jedi Knight would TOTALLY eat up Nadia Grell even though Kira and Nadia are hard to choose from.

How is it weird? it's common sense. If something can be bought from a vendor for less than it sells back to that same vendor for. It's obviously not-intentional. hence an "exploit" as it would funnel limitless amounts of credits into the game. You (not you specifically I mean you as in anyone) have to be all kinds of stupid to think it's okay to take advantage of it. No warning is even necessary. As I said it's common friggin sense man. uh. no. HK-55 is probably one of the least likely to be a companion since we already have HK-51. He's probably Darth Emo-Juniors droid like 47 was Revan's. And even if not...while it's not impossible for him to be a companion it's anything but likely....already having an HK companion makes him redundant. They're more likely to give us an all-new companion than a slight re-dress of one that they may lose CM sales by giving us (yes while you can do the quest, most will still use cc's to unlock him on alts...Bio isn't gonna purposely give us a close clone and possibly lose that income) So yah...while he may be..he's hardly a "likely choice" as you want to point out.
