just 1. Can send others on crew missions at any time tho. As you lvl up you can send more on missions at one time.

try the ones that are red in color, if you haven't. I had the same issue, someone told me that in general... got infected in a sec. after finding one of those. I believe they're "strong"

I really doubt that you could do AT LEVEL stuff or even slightly below your level. Tho who knows if ya play a healer and deck out your tank companion or the other way around... possible? well prolly still no.. but at least there's a glimmer of hope if your a pro. Also if you don't feel playing up to the level of some hardcore ppls then just join up in a nice casual guild. Biggest thing of mmos is to make friends. Some might yell at ya and say you suck.. but who cares... it's a game, have fun. i GUARANTEE YOU that making friends and getting into a good guild to fit your needs will make the game much more fun. Last game i played hardcore style was AoC, in my guild there was about 24 of us that were the raiding the new content and learning all the tricks (at the same time running other raids for everyone else). Once we learned the new raids we would invite everyone and teach others, having fun the whole time. We had 3 guild mates that were handicapped in one way or another... it's really not a huge deal. Just know what you can do and do it.. your guild mates/group mates will learn what to expect from you and play accordingly. I hate hearing bout ppl playing solo all the time in mmos.. makes me sad

completely agree. I was a huge fan of what Rift did with the puzzles in each map and hidden chests in crazy places. For some it was an annoyance that was quickly solved by watching the youtubes, for others it offered some amazing rewards for those who like to explore. BTW, there was an (AREA) quest on Balmorra? (i think it was) that was just like those rift puzzles... i love finding those things/solving them. I hope more mmos down the line implement this sort of reward.

My first mmo was FFXI - if you didn't group then you didn't lvl up after.. maybe 20 period. Man, after a while you would recognize sooo many names and seemed like everyone knew each other or saw each other around. With the companions in this game it seems there is not much reason to group. Still i put up LFGs even for heroic 2's that i know i'll have no problem with, just to be social and such. You really just haveta put forth the effort to make friends and get ppl talking more these days.

I know that exact feeling, lol. First mmo to drag me in was FFXI, was always a huge Final Fantasy fan so i had to play the next one, which was FFXI at the time. I was COMPLETELY lost for prolly a week or two and still had little clue after a month . Still hooked me pretty good and love the genre as a whole now. Hopefully that manual will answer a bunch of your questions but if there's every something your stumped on this forum is great for quick answers.

IDK i seem a different breed o healer from most in this thread, i just enjoy when people keep me on my toes. I've played a healer as my first character in every mmo since FFXI, after a bit at max lvl i do become altaholic perty fast. Anyway i like to be "trained in fire" in just about any class i play. I mean sure there's gunna be times where things need to be semi serious cuz it's a new raid/boss fight that nobody has done, but... idk... guess i just get bored sometimes if everyone is doing their job perfectly in groups. Don't get me wrong for new players this is a great! post! I just kept seeing it bumped and wanted to add my 2 cents i guess.

I really hate games that have those long macro systems. One step below the games that have the auto-farming "features".. .yea it's called botting - thx, i'll be back in an hour to collect my gold.

How to be healed in Jybs group - Make jokes, break all CC as fast as possible, los me behind walls whenever possible, only companions are allowed to tank.. all dps!@!! I love groups that make me stress and demand that i be a better healer and keep people up in the worst of conditions. Those groups are just more fun anyhow.
