  1. Might not be the best example as the fight in which he died had nothing to do with valour but all to do with revenge.
  2. Thing is, wouldn't this be fixed with a few server merges for the low pop servers ? I've no problem finding games at any time on my server. Maybe 5 min queue at worst.
  3. Is it a must in the game, imo, no not really. Is it a must to have it removed, imo, no not really either. Personally don't care about whether it stays or goes, I might be slightly inclined to favour the removal if I had to pick a side, merely because of the distance from where you can spot healers when marked, giving you an edge which normally only observant people would gain.

  5. How about when the commendation is put into your currency bag. Is it only while residing in a battlemaster bag it is prone to shattering and fragmentation, or will you risk such things in your currency bag as well ?
  6. Before doing your calculation again, look at your numbers. When you're on 8 ammo what you need to regen is the 4 ammo missing to bring you back to 12, that is why your calculations are wrong. Hence as someone already mentioned it's 4/0,6 and not 8/0,6.
  7. Because they didn't deal damage, they helped people stay alive thus PARTICIPATING in the kill.
  8. And how is "participating in a kill" not counting when you're a healer ? And why are "participating in a kill" a dps/tank thing ? Killing blow != kill, kill is short for being a part of a kill aka participating in a kill, hence you get it for slapping the target once.
  9. So you fight another dude, you reach 10% hp while he has 50% hp, healer tops you off and you get medals for "killing" that dude, but the healer gets awarded nothing for the kill ? Sure... That makes sense >_> I guess me attacking with autoattack for ~600 and then heal you (if you're not dead) before him dying makes me much more qualified for getting a 'participated in a kill' stat change !!

    Is SWTOR dying?

    Population cap set too low (and as a result too many servers) mixed with the standard mmojumpers expecting every new mmo to be a WoW-killer thus joining it, and the more rational people who merely accepted that the game wasn't what they were looking for. Is imo the reasons it seems "dying". There'll always be people leaving, there was just never THAT many on the servers for starters. I don't think it's dying, it's finding its place in terms of population, the population of any given mmo have always plummeted at the start to find a 'stable' ground in which to reside.

    Autofacing

    I really don't understand this, how is auto-facing "lol n00bish" but running around in random directions relying on latency to **** it up for the opponent "lawl skills" As long as there's no collision detection so you'd actually have to move around people and not frantically just run back and forth through them removing auto-facing is as bad a decision as keeping it >_>

That's just ignorant, for a BH healer for instance there's 1 instant cast spell with high cd (21secs, 18 with bonus from gear) one instant "heals for about 500 when you take damage (3sec internal cd)" a fast low inefficient heal which leaves a hot and 10% armour buff (on a 12sec cd), a 'spamable' cast heal that heals for quite a lot and lastly an instant aoe heal that heals for about 1k on a 6sec cd. If you interrupt the spammable one you'll force the BH to use his cd'ed abilities, which means he wont have them for the next 12-21 seconds giving you an upper hand.

Depends, I hate it on my merc healer, sure I can withstand some damage and has scored quite often, but I am of much more use as a healer to the ball carrier, if I'm left alone, ballcarrier will survive, if I'm focused, ball carrier will get ahead while I survive for quite a long time in my little bubble
  15. Problem is, if the zerg is somewhat organized and have all the melees rushing in at the same time they can shred the other zerg to pieces. But normally it's one melee going in at a time, maybe two or three, and the targets you can focus is quite obvious and therefore goes down fast. If you improve the melees abilities to engage few at a time into a zerg group, you're severely damaging the other aspects of pvp. I don't say there's no problem and people should l2p, but the problems I feel is lying in the Illum pvp in general where it's all about getting the biggest zerg possible, and then just meet the other zerg head on, instead of smaller skirmishes around the area cometing for points etc.
  16. I don't know, my guess is a large amount of them think they're stunned when rooted, or simply don't know roots and snares are not affected. Not denying there might be a problem, but I'm just surprised I haven't noticed it yet if it's as common as people make it out to be
  17. Rewarding bad players for not dispelling stuff ? Not happy with the amount of cc in the game, but okay with the resolve system, I personally never noticed it bug.
  18. Thanks for that, I needed a good laugh. For your info, my vanguard has no such issues, neither does my juggernaught nor assassin (though the last two isn't 50 yet so it could change, though I doubt it will be so drastically I'll go from feeling quite powerful, to as useless as you describe.)

  22. Problem here is, if people get medals for scoring and making that final pass, people will start grabbing the ball and charge straight forward go get those, instead of passing/allowing better suited to get the ball.
  23. The above post pretty much offered some constructive crititcism, it took into account that you 3v1 situation was not as such a 3v1 situation. If he indeed was unguarded, I smell lack of interupting/interupting the wrong heals or miserable dps.
  24. Agreed. Also at op, remember that if you have the ball and looking to be swarmed with no chance of passing it to a teammate (or risk losing it near own goalline) throwing it to an empty place on the ground (far from other people) will reset it.
