  1. I demand a screen shot of Ashara in the dancer's top and legs; with this helmet bug. The complete invisible companion.
  2. This a thousand times, I was furious to discover I could not put my companion in a matching set of Agent's gear because "Not imperial agent." Its tricky enough to work around mis-matching armor as it is. (Could we get a color match option for companions to? )
  3. I would sign as well, I actually like the wider blade and brighter glow effect. ~Cyan crystal user.
  4. Dear lord... Former Chardonite reporting in. Only made it as far as Mentor before planting down again. Good to see all my snow-belt brothers & sisters on the interwebz.

    Jung Ma RP

Always good to see more folks from Jung Ma. I've been on the server for a while now, and RP has been spotty at best up until a few days ago. Because up to that point I had been doing things solo. Jumped into a guild and have taken part in two scheduled events in three days; not bad in my opinion.
  6. Well if you happened to get lucky at the RakGhoul event; you could slap the infected customization on him. Make him suffer via plague for his failures; isn't that the Sith way?
  7. This happened regularly on my own android phone; until one day it flat out dumped the codes from the application. Had to call up customer service and get the device removed from my account; to get into my account, to get the codes back. Luckily; the whole thing was only about a 10 minute process. Phone based customer service was surprisingly quick and effective.
  8. My god... how could we have missed it? I'm going to report this immediately. The rampage of teams of operatives can't be allowed to continue; they're going to kill the game unless we bring the problem back to everyone's attention!
  9. According to Dulfy's poll; Jung Ma is actually slightly in favor of Republic (albeit by a small margin). Plus, if you're looking to play republic: Jung Ma has Alpha Company.
  10. Know what I like best about the agent? Its paced energy regen. It didn't occur to me until clearing out a class story mission: in one continuous pull. Then I looked back at the instance worth of bodies and though: My god... I could never have done that on my Sorcerer, I'd have run out of force. I can just get into a rhythm; and nothing can stop me.
  11. At the moment; I don't have any plans of leaving. I'm still enjoying the game and my particular server has enough people where finding flash-point groups; and queueing for pvp isn't an issue. As long as this remains true; I don't see a reason to leave.
  12. http://www.develop-online.net/news/40736/Pachter-Dragon-Age-3-devs-loaned-to-SWTOR An interesting article that I was shown by a coworker. What implications can we expect should such a move be made? I'm not entirely familiar with the programming staff of DA:3, but would it be a far stretch to assume it contains at least some of the individuals who worked on DA:O and DA:2? I don't think it would be, which then lead me to consider DA:O and DA:2 as 'benchmarks' for what could be expected from the additional team. To the best of my memory; DA:O and DA:2 were, from a code standpoint; rather solid programs. Of the few outstanding bugs that were present upon launch of those games, minor fix patches came out with relative quickness; and I also recall the games running very well on my at-the-time several year outdated computer. Speculation: We now have a team with a track record for solid code joining the SWTOR team. (A positive occurrence most defiantly.) I feel confident that the game will steadily improve (albeit, hopefully faster!) as time goes on. Thoughts? Opinions? Conjecture?
  13. Glad someone spotted my reply somewhere in the tidal wave of stealth hate. Again incase people missed it: Pay attention to the video, 25 second mark: door blows. 28 second mark: a juggernaught runs in from the next room to delay people. It would have been impossible for him to respawn and get to the door in that amount of time unless he was already behind the door. Meaning: He contested it from the next room where no one could see him. Due to a bug that can cause attackers to spawn to far along even if the doors are still up. Report the proper issue so whats really wrong can be fixed.
  14. Wrong. There is another player contesting the door from the next room. Pay attention to the video, 25 second mark: door blows. 15. Please watch the video again, the culprit is not a stealth class. At the 28 second mark a juggernaught runs out from behind the door that blew up at the 25 second mark. He capped the door from the next room due to a bug that sometimes causes attackers to spawn a room further along then they really are. The bug that needs to be fixed is players respawning at the wrong location.
  16. Did no one else notice the Jugger come out from behind the exploded door seconds after the bomb went off? Looks like that's your culprit. You were the victim of another bug that sometimes causes the enemy to re-spawn in a room further down then the one you're fighting in; and he back-capped from behind the door where no one could see him.
  17. Oh, just recalled: the best one has to be engaging several melee opponents and doing the aoe sweep ability (Lacerate for Assassins) to lead into an Overload knock-back. The character lifts the saber to just over head level; and gives it an initial spin, bringing it down while going into a full body spin to deal damage to all surrounding opponents, if you mash the overload button it 'looks' like your character finishes the spin and falls forward like their going to go into a somersault move. But instead propels into the air in a forward flip; and punches the ground for a force-wave type of attack that sends everyone flying. I like finding little visually fun combos like that.
  18. Initially it was a fair turn-off point in my eyes as well. However once you get used to it I actually like some of the ... 'ambient' ? moves they do. (The little blocking animations when in combat with a melee guy; or the fairly elegant back-swing that's used to deflect blaster bolts from behind. Visually; one of my favorite classes because it really gives that 'Master Jedi / Sith Lord' feel that in my eyes: the inquisitor / sage was missing. Oh, and final piece of advise: Which ever you end up with (Jedi or Sith) get yourself some pants. The dress just makes it look silly.
  19. Because its Zenimax; that leaves me with at least one expectation: There will be no working ladders.
  20. If you're looking for a class that uses both force powers and saber combat regularly; I would think the Assassin / Shadow is just what you're looking for. Standard combat is saber moves; mix in shock / project for, and pebble-storm / force lightning when able. You also get access to a couple of 'mind trick' (taunts, sap~esque ability), and can even obscure yourself and sneak around with stealth.
  21. Bite the bullet and jump over. Both factions are quite populous, and we hold regular weekly world PvP events. I personally gave up a rather well developed 50 Sorc to roll here, reasonable valor rank; full gear, several color crystals and no-longer-obtainable mounts all wasted... But I can't honestly say I regret leaving it behind; now that I'm on a server with people. I want to run a flash point? I can. Want to PvP? Near instant queues! Standing on fleet is boring... Inform the republic we'll be attacking a base of there's on Hoth. An hour later there are 100+ people on both sides fighting over a location for no other reason then to have a massive world brawl. Minor edit: Plugging the greatest Republic guild on the server: Alpha Company. Because those guys are amazing and fun to fight. I can honestly say I haven't had this much fun in an MMO since the southshore / TM days. (Or bridge battles in PS1)
  22. Not entirely true. It will be less armor, so he will take more damage. Its just a matter of how close attention he pays to the amount of incoming damage. I don't know the exact rate of protection change between heavy and medium, but its a fairly heavy drop off between a rating oh, say 80[heavy] and a rating 80[medium]. If looks matter that much I'd say just eat the penalty and enjoy the game more with your now more visually appealing character.
  23. Unfortunate; sadly my highest character is but a lowly 42, and I have no interest in another alt yet. But I will file that away; it may come in handy if the alt-mood strikes. In the mean time; general consensus appears to be stims until valor 40, then ranked tokens with the caveat of using them before real ranked warzones arrive.
