  1. I think BW is intentionally mocking us through this change... Just last evening I was running my PowerTech friend through some quests on Belsavis; when... I heard her giggle when she got a railshot proc. I just about flipped my desk over with rage.
  2. Alternate-Universe Cipher here; just found this little gem of a thread yesterday and promptly read it all. I share in the opinion of one earlier commentator: at first the style was a bit jarring, but quickly grew on me. The characters and their quirky antics were most enjoyable to read about; and quite an interesting perspective change from the my-reality Wrath that I spot for on occasion. She has absolutely no connection with Quinn; and instead on any opportunity that arises, tries to end his life. Perhaps the lack of having any man is what drives her highly violent tendencies? Either way; I applaud your writing sir, your advice early in has sparked a tiny flame for story creation that I thought had long since died out. Best of luck to you on your interview an-- wait; Ohio? Dear lord that is dangerously close to my own location... I'd best keep my head down, there is Wrath afoot.
  3. Agent Koldorn, in all his glory. http://i.imgur.com/UdJDW.jpg http://i.imgur.com/QFMin.jpg
  4. My comment was directed toward, Rowandiki above. To the OP: nothing that I know of should prevent stuns afterward. The mez doesn't fill the resolve bar.
  5. I know this always happens if you take the talent in the medic tree that reduces the target's damage by 50% after the mez wears off. And its always worked like that for my agent.
  6. Which is precisley why I honestly expected something along the lines of: And to re-open the Hunter thing: Just my own opinion; as ramble-ish as it may be. I'm quite interested in how the perception of these characters can change so much between playing the male / female agent. Mark of quality in my book.
  7. Happened to me as well for one small section of the planet. I finished the quests in the area I was in, and re-logged. The problem appeared to have corrected itself.
  8. The replacement noise is the old "Tracer Missile" mechanical chirp. Frankly; its flat out terrible. I used to believe Agents where having fun; running around and giggling all the time. Now; it just kind of feels dead and mechanical.
  9. Am I the only one who actually wasn't bothered by this scene? Little bit of head canon of my own:
  10. The first noticable flaw here; is the neigh unreadable post color. On a more serious note; I believe it was mentioned that guild-ships were a plan point for the future. One of which I can hardly wait for. In the mean time; I will agree that social fluff and areas are severely lacking. I remember questing through Voss; and finding a Tea House as part of my class' story. I didn't want to leave; for the simple fact that the building is story-quest instanced and once I left I could never return.
  11. A thousand times; this. Now I just wish it wasn't so blasted hard to gear her past the rating 124 barrier.
  12. I had been running around with Temple for a while; I liked the extra DPS. But then, I didn't realize how much damage Temple actually takes until I used scorpio a bit. Temple averages rating 128 gear all around. (No piece less then 128); and takes easily 3X the damage of scorpio in all rating 90 armors (was even missing a 'sensor' slot item entirely; oops) So; I figured, "Oh look. Scorpio has a "heavy" proficiency! I can toss her BH gear!" and happily ran off to the recruit vendor for a set of 'start-up' gear. So here I am; with a full set of "Super-Commando" stuff and attempt to equip her... "Can not use that." ... ... ... *eye twitch* I think I may have burst a blood vessel. Unfortunately; I've had to run with Kaylio again. Because I spent all this damn money, and she at least takes less damage then temple. (Although it still feels like she is less effective then scorpio, and I have to heal her way more often.) I just wish it was easier to gear up my kill-bot. I love how she just yells "BUUUURN!" while charging things. So much more intimidating then Kaylio showing off her 'gun'.
  13. There was one line at the end of chapter three that really seemed to stand out...
  14. Phantom: 1st place -Absolutely amazing all around. Well lit, functional, and feels 'sized' correctly. This ship is the epitome of style and efficiency. The interior design is smooth and visually astounding; while the exterior is sleek and as aero dynamic as something built by futuristic space-Tony Stark. Defender: 2nd place -An overall excellent ship; the Defender suffers from a few tiny (tiny) drawbacks that earn the ship only second place. The multi-floor layout is somewhat awkward to initially deal with, and the overall interior color scheme bleeds far to much yellow. The mid-deck is set out in a way that is difficult to navigate without leaping over railings, making traversing a bit odd. Please note these are minor complaints, the decor of the ship is laid out in a way to emphasize the lavish status of the ship's owner. It affords every comfort you'd expect to see on a galactic diplomat's personal transport. The exterior is fairly well done as well. Noteably; it borrows the hammer-head design of the faction's other larger ships, which in my humble opinion looks rather nice. My only gripe about the ship's overall shape is the box-esque tail. Only really noticeable when flying in a space mission; the underside (caused by the aforementioned lower deck) looks almost tacked-on and ruins the ship's otherwise sleek design. Fury: 3rd place -Again most of my gripes with this ship are personal feelings and opinions only, read on with that in mind. The Fury clocks in at number three on my list of overall best ships; it sports a mercilessly efficient visual theme and plenty of grim-dark red lighting. I love the exterior of the ship, it screams Empire. Just the right influence of tie-fighter, with enough bulk to warrant itself as a Sith Lord's personal ship. However my love of the ship ends there; the interior has almost zero decorative features. (Well, aside from grim-dark lighting. Everything is red, at all times) To a darkside player though; I can see how this would be appealing, no distractions; red everywhere to enforce your hate, it emphasizes what the ship is at its core: Functional. Mantis: 4th place -It is really tough putting the Mantis this far down because I really do like this ship. The multi-deck design is interestingly enough; easier to navigate then the Defender's. Once you have the layout memorized, its easy to maneuver about, get to and from the command consoles, and most importantly: has enough random items and decor laying around to make it feel like a personal ship. The exterior is a bit clunky however; grace obviously isn't this thing's strong point. But to any who are familiar with the series; it just screams Armored Core to me; which is a major bonus point in its favor. Its big, its rough, and its tired of your @#%&. XS - Stock: 5th place (Get it? XS? ex-cess stock. Stolen goods! Its a knee slapper!) -A wonderful token throw-back to the KoToR series. (also notthemelliniumfalcon) Perhaps the ship itself isn't the best part about this vessel; but more the memories it evokes of other wonderful games past. The interior keeps the Ebon Hawk's circular layout, and (if not a little confusing at first) is easy to navigate with a bit of practice. The interior is surprisingly roomy for what it is; and holds plenty of visual candy laying about its corridors and rooms. The exterior is rugged, 'tacked together' and looks only barley functional. The best term for this ship would be, endearing. Thunderclap: 6th place -Sorry troopers; the exterior appearance of your ship is a tad... horrendous. And *twitch* not symmetrical. But most of all I place this at the bottom of the list... because the trooper friend who was supposed to show me about the layout gets bent out of shape over having people aboard; and kicked us all out. So 'hmpf!' I say, and to the bottom of the list you go! (Its not really fair judgement; I would like to see the interior myself but have not yet rolled my own trooper)
  15. That, looks about the same graphic as the aimed-shot attack my ranged companion uses. Could be fun, thanks for the information.
  16. That just seems downright silly. But thank you.
  17. What in the heck does this emote actually do? Can't find a single video / screen shot of someone using it.
  18. Most excellent news for Armstech, Synthweavers, and Armormechs. What about the cybertech guys? :<
  19. I will say from an RPer perspective; LoTRo spoils the ever living #*&$ out of its players. Just the feature of being able to play your own music; on an instrument of your choice was mind blowing. And being able to get rich on raising a pipeweed farm was an oddly more entertaining then it should have been. Ah, roleplayers will buy anything if advertised right.
  20. Would be interesting if it never turned off. Might make expertise a useful stat for healing PvE. While obviously not intended; it would be funny. I'll try to run a few tests in the next couple of days; almost 50 and ready to buy my recruit set. (Unless someone else already has definitive data.)
