  1. I give this to Son. He is also the only Dark Side "user" I could possibly be persuaded to think of as more powerful than Sidious since Sids is officially "the most powerful Sith Lord ever" and Son isn't really a Sith.
  2. I've experienced bugs with that boss but not for some time and this was not one of them.
  3. Agreed. I didn't need those Columi bracers and other players did. At least Xelek could benefit but it shouldn't be going to NPC's when PC's can use it.
  4. I currently and have always seen a mostly diverse selection of drops with the occasional annoying streak of homogenous/useless gear. Which is what I would expect with random loot. The RNG has never seemed to be working in any other way than as intended to me.
  5. Next major content patch you can if that is your thing.
  6. I don't have a problem with mission times, mission costs, mat costs, or the actual chance of proccing a RE schematic. As long as they fix the fricken "you already know this schematic" bug so that when I proc a schematic I actually learn one I didn't already know I'll be happy. YMMV.
  7. I don't understand how a hero of a past age being beaten by four (4!!!) heroes of the current age in a heavily symbolic passing of the torch moment with extremely heavy echoes of the past hero's own past grasping of the torch is in any way a poor end or a disappointing sendoff.
  8. Yes. You lose nothing by disassembling. They will be in your mission items tab.
  9. I believe I read that the patch that allows orange crits (1.2) would also be adding more orange schematics for all armor slots. I could be wrong though.
  10. Healer in our guild got it the first time we ever killed Karraga. Wasn't even aware it was supposed to be rare. Guess we were "lucky".
  11. Belts and bracers do not have as many stats as helms, chests, gloves, legs and boots and therefore moddable belts and bracers have one less slot to reflect this. I can verify that properly modded orange belts and bracers are better than (non crit) Rakata bracers. I picked up some orange bracers off the GTN. Putting a garbage level 51 armoring from daily comms and a 56 mod from excess pvp gear into them resulted in bracers marginally better than Rakata. 105 willpower 10 power on orange vs 103 wp 11 power on Rakata. Picking up a 58 armoring out of Karraga's and putting them in there upped it to: 118 wp 10 power. Yes crit Rakata with an augment slot would still be better. But after patch 1.2 crit orange bracers with 58 armoring 58 mod and 50 augment will be BIS over crit Rakata.
  12. The author has stated that Bane was defeated and Zannah kept her body and mind.
  13. Mass Effect is a relatively hard piece of Sci-Fi where faster than light travel is difficult and not replicable nor understood by the people who use it and energy weapons are rare, costly, and difficult to maintain. Star Wars is incredibly soft Sci-Fi (Science Fantasy really), where moon sized space stations that could bust planets and traverse the galaxy on demand were the baseline that we started with and then went up from there. Star Wars blows ME away by virtue of not trying to be remotely realistic.
  14. A guildie intending to whisper another guildie in regards to hearing a third guildie in vent for the first time said in gchat: "Man this kid's whiny ***** voice sure matches up with all the whiny ************ he does in gchat"
  15. The solution, imho, would be to make all possible skins craftable, not to remove the crit factor. Or perhaps even to make augment slots transferable, much like there are extra gem sockets that can be added to gear in WOW. Because that's what augment slots are anyway. But that is of course my own opinion. I happen to be quite looking forward to these upcoming changes. Different strokes for different folks. Can't please all the people all the time. Other clichés.
  16. I do not. In other games I've played the relationship between crafting and raiding/pvp was far stronger and it wasn't a problem. I'll use WOW as an example. In WOW there are sockets for gems on most top of the line gear. These gems come from crafting. There are also "enchants" that can be put on nearly every piece of gear that permanently boost their stats. These enchants also come from crafting. Once a gem or enchant is put on an item it cannot be taken off and put in another. Every single time you get an new piece of gear you need to socket and enchant it. And the system works. It keeps crafting relevant, but isn't really much of a burden on the player because someone is always looking to sell you these gems and enchants and money is easy to come by. The upcoming system for TOR is much much simpler than WOW's. You get one piece of crit orange gear for every armor slot and you can be set for life. You can keep it forever if you want to. You literally never have to replace it. You don't even need to replace the augments if you decide you want to change to a different look because they are removable. You only need the skin once, after that what you put into the skin is completely up to you. You wanna fill it with raid quality mods go ahead, you want to fill it with pvp mods have at it. I would take this system over WOW's any day and WOW's wasn't a problem to begin with.
  17. That won't be the case if (and I know this is a big if) they simply make every skin available as an orange schematic to the appropriate crafters.
  18. Keep saving for the ridiculously expensive crit orange gear everyone will be scrambling to obtain post patch 1.2.
  19. As others have said they should be working fine together once patch 1.2 hits. In fact transferring all your epic gear into orange gear will not only be a cosmetic choice it will be necessary to remain competitive. Crafted orange gear will be able to crit and gain an augment slot. That's an additional 28 stats on every single piece of armor. Well over 200 extra points to you primary stat or whatever stat you choose to increase in total.
  20. They said something along the lines of "we feel the Legacy system strikes a good balance between players who like to level multiple characters and people who like to focus on mainly one character". So even taking into account that they might be full of it there should be at least something worthwhile for max level characters. /fingerscrossed
  21. Already have mine sitting in the bank. The day we can pull epic hilts all my lightsaber components go into the orange. I suggest everyone try to get these sabers now while the community is generally unaware of their upcoming value because the price will skyrocket once the changes go live. My server has no concept of the value items like these should have. I have 4 pieces of gear with augments slots, all with Artifact rank 22 wp augments, all bought for the default price the GTN assigns the augment when you put it up for sale: around 1800 credits.
  22. Indeed. Got an orange set of bracers off the GTN for a very low price. Socketed with a garbage level 51 armoring from dailies and a 56 mod from excess PVP gear I had lying around from when champ bags dropped gear regularly and they became marginally better than Rakata bracers. 105 willpower 10 power on orange vs 103 wp 11 power on Rakata. Snagged a 58 Armoring from HM OPS and now they blow Rakata away. 118 WP 10 power. Unless you are Synthweaving and have the pattern for Rakata bracers and then have them crit to gain an augment slot Orange bracers are BIS.
