  1. The ME universe is a relatively hard sci-fi universe with technology a few centuries ahead of our own. Just traveling through space is difficult in this series. The people who do it don't even understand the technology that allows them to do so. Star Wars is an extremely soft sci-fi (science fantasy really) series where people have been capable of traversing the stars as if it were child's play for 25,000+ years. When we were introduced to Star Wars it already had moon sized superweapons that could traverse the galaxy and destroy planets in an instance and the ante has been upped several times since then. The Reapers wouldn't stand a chance. Keep in mind that I have not yet played ME3 and am basing my response around ME1+2. Quite frankly no era of SW for which we have records would be particularly threatened by The Reapers. Their biggest accomplishment is keeping a few dozen civilizations only a few centuries technologically more advanced than our own beaten down repeatedly. And presumably by the end of ME3 they are ultimately beaten by these civilizations after letting them get only mildly too big for their britches. In the GFFA they would be up against millions of civilizations tens of millennia more advanced than our own.
  2. Uh there's only two places that BCA drops and it is the same for both the Imperial and Republic side. As the poster above me said the last bosses of HM's drop them and they also drop from bosses in Ops.
  3. No, there is nothing better than the advanced version of Armoring, Mod and Enhancement items that you can make. trying to RE these would be a waste of effort and resources.
  4. They are adding more orange schematics in 1.2 and giving you the ability to RE epic gear to learn that look as a schematic as well. Complain about something else.
  5. Um...clearly Knights can have padawans. A Knight getting a padawan was a rather major part of the ending of EPI.
  6. The novelization says he was one of the order's best saberists at the time.
  7. Pretty sure that means they aren't going to add higher end reusables as higher end gear becomes available (making the reusables less and less valuable as time goes on), not that your current already crafted reusables will disappear over time.
  8. See now I really like the look of our Columi/Rakata sets because I like to RP that I am The Pope.
  9. I would say yes. I can't speak highly enough of Madness' performance as a leveling spec.
  10. Lightning Barrage is underwhelming while leveling or grinding against normal mobs because mostly they're gonna die too quickly for it to really be useful, or quite often before it even has a chance to proc at all Where it really starts to shine and you'll start to appreciate it is during boss fights because they last a while and it'll proc again and again and also in PvP where is can provide some very nice, albeit RNGish, burst.
  11. Well I healed myself for three of the medals. I believe I would have gotten 2 had I not had the ability to do so. That was also the only ACW I've ever played where the node I guarded never got attacked.
  12. Grotpar is correct. In addition once you actually initiate the romance with her (at around 2k affection) she will start liking courting gifts.
  13. Well certain Mastercraft implants made by crafters are better than Rakata implants. Properly modded orange bracers/belts are better than Rakata unless you have the proper professions to craft the Rakata bracers/belt and get a critical craft resulting in Rakata bracers/belt with an augment slot. Artifice makes BIS Relics if you crit on those and get relics with augment slots.
  14. This is correct. I've sat on a node in ACW that no one attacked the entire game (0 kills, 0 damage) and still got credit for 3 kills for the Illum daily/weekly.
  15. My guess is that these, possibly along with some completely new FP's, will be added when a gear level above Rakata is introduced through new OPs, and Rakata will become available through these new HM's.
  16. Ummm...no. It is an empty shell with zero stats. You still need to take the armoring, mod, and enhancement you got through raiding and put them into the orange shell along with an augment for it to be worth anything. And once you do that the only way to upgrade it further will be to get an even more powerful set of armoring/mod/enhancement modifications out of even higher end raids. People won't be crafting orange armor with rank 26 mods in them, they'll be crafting empty orange armor that you need to put your raid loots into. Raiding isn't being devalued at all. You are making your existing raid loot better by combining it with items made from crafting, not replacing your raid loot with crafted loot. This is no different than having to enchant or socket your gear in WoW except it's way better as you only need to do it once.
  17. To address the OP's actual question: it depends. Depends on the individual Sith, depends on the time frame. For example Malgus is a Sith who clearly puts The Force and The Empire (or at least what he believes The Empire should be) above himself. Malgus' chain would be: 1. The Force 2. The Empire 3. Himself Malgus is also a fanatic with what boils down to a religious relationship with The Force. In his mind striving for power/following the Dark Side isn't just his right as a Sith it is literally doing what is right. Then you have to look at the Baneite Sith and throw the Grand Plan into the mix of things to possibly be loyal to. But then again the Grand Plan could easily be considered synonymous with The Force as they believe that following the Grand Plan is doing what is right for The Force and the GFFA. So for someone like Plagueis of Sidious the chain might look like: 1. Themselves 2. The Grand Plan/The Force 3. The Empire (purely theoretical to anyone besides Sids, but still what they were striving toward) However for previous members of that line you might see a chain that looks more like: 1. The Grand Plan 2. Themselves 3. The Empire
  18. Orange bracers with a 51 armoring and 56 mod are marginally better than baseline Rakata bracers. Orange bracers with a 58 armoring and 56/58 mod are significantly better than baseline Rakata bracers. Crafted Rakata bracers that crit on the craft and gained an augment slot are significantly better than orange bracers with a 58 armoring and a 56/58 mod. Assuming that orange bracers do not gain the ability to be made with an augment slot in patch 1.2 then crit crafted Rakata will remain BIS. If orange bracers are able to gain an augment slot then orange bracers properly modded will be BIS. Crit Orange* w/58-56/58 mods + 50 augment > Crit Rakata w/50 augment >Orange w/58-56/58 modifications>Orange w/51-56 mods> Base Rakata *not currently in game. may or may not exist in patch 1.2
  19. Well you'd be wrong. It was canonically a year. Just like Luke canonically went from barely able to pull a lightsaber out of a pile of snow to being able to levitate multiple rocks and supply cases + R2D2 telekinetically while standing on his head and balancing Yoda on his foot in the few weeks he was on Dagobah. Just like he canonically instinctively picked up the basics of Form V just from dueling Vader once. Luke is canonically the most powerful and fastest learning Jedi of all time.
  20. Luke had an entire year between ESB and ROTJ to hone his skills.
  21. And further muddying the waters is the fact that it is also possible to have a high midi-chlorian count and have no Force ability whatsoever.
  22. I'm working with the assumption that a timeline as altered as one where Qui-Gon lives and trains Anakin doesn't result in a story where the defining events all occur exactly as they actually did except with Anakin having Qui-Gon's tutelage to fall back on instead of Obi-Wan's.
