  1. See post above. Poor coded game has bugs. Players are encountering said bugs.
  2. These nodes and resources were removed due to an exploit.
  3. Major. Abilities not firing off is a huge problem that Stephen Reid admitted exists.
  4. The problem is that it could be worse--just that it couldn't be much worse.
  5. In 1v1 PvP, scissors beats the **** out of paper 90% of the time.
  6. /fail OP If you don't understand that some abilities will be better and some worse, I'm not sure that mirroring will help you. OP is the type who'd like rock-paper-scissors nerfed into rock, rock, rock.
  7. Hello all. I just scored my first capture in Huttball! w00t! The issue is that I didn't get any objective points: none for the capture, despite walking across the line alone. At the end of the match, I also had zero objective contribution points (!). This is despite earning both kill and healing medals while protecting ball carriers. I play as an Operative (Imperial Agent). What am I doing wrong?
  8. Imperial Balmorra was actually quite fun. They're bonus series for a reason though.
  9. I agree that it would be a challenge but your method still leaves orange gear undervalued on the GTN. Most people don't realize that a level 9 armor w/ low armor stats will scale alongside the mod benefits. This lowers demand for some great-looking, early-base-level items.
  10. Seriously, Cybertech and Biochem are not overpowered. Research needs to be done by these sorts of plaintiffs into how crafting works. Via reverse engineering and appropriate gathering skills, you can make quite a bit of money.
  11. Many people in-game don't realize that orange armor can use mod to "scale up"--meaning a base level 9 armor can scale up while leveling. Unfortunately, for crafts, an unmodded Orange Item doesn't show it's potential while tooltipped in Galactic trade Network. It'd be great to see what same-level mods would do to an orange item, both to increase demand for custom armors as a crafter. I realize that this might need a disclaimer stating that the item lacks mods give priority to the base stats.
  12. Reverse Engineering is a huge component in Armstech/Synthweaving/Armortech With it, you can get items that are as good or better than modded gear of the same level (YMMV).
  13. You do this when traveling to dozens of planets. I don't see why I need to travel through no less than two empty, non-gameplay zones to get to the main questing zones. For example, to get from Imperial Fleet to Hoth: Start at Imperial Fleet Go to Hangar Elevator Go to Class Hangar (<-- there are no vendors here, you can't even begin private conversations with NPCs) Enter Ship Go to Bridge Use Bridge Map to go to Hoth Exit Ship Go to Elevator Go to Adamas Station (<-- there are no vendors, just tone quest giver tha t could be moved to Dorn) Go to Departing Shuttle Arrive at Hoth Dorn base (as Imperial) That's very convoluted and wastes an incredible amount of time.
  14. You're awfully full of your opinions there. How is it poor MMO design to have some zones accessible earlier on than others, depending on faction? If a game had a end-game zone in the opposing faction's capital/starting zone, it'd be the same thing.
  15. Oh Nagus, submit a ticket. You know the drill.
  16. SWTOR is the first to tell a story well. I've seen stories done okay-ish in DDO (complete with narration) or LOTRO cutscenes and lore books but SWTOR puts such an incredible emphasis on your character.
  17. There are fewer hairstyles and skin colors in that game. What's your point?
  18. Run those space missions, especially with their dailies Explore undiscovered regions on Hoth for more quests (honestly, I've skipped half of planets like Tatooine, Taris, etc.). Run group content, like flashpoints, heroic area missions, etc. Play some PvP
  19. You're lying. There's a loading screen between Darnassus and Stormwind (hint: it plays when you're on a boat). I've seen hundreds of people in Tatooine and Hutta. I've done some open-world PvP in Tatooine--where two guilds went head-to-head. It was fun to get mixed up as an intelligence agent. Just realize that some of the later worlds are massive and take almost a dozen hours to complete.
  20. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. I've fought players from other factions. Are you on a PVP server? I've also seen dozens of people in Tatooine while questing (and many, many more in Taris--which is compressed). I think the reason you're not seeing many people is also due to how massive these worlds are. How many buildings can you enter in Tatooine? In Mos Ila alone? How many expansive zones are there? People are spread thin, in your case, for a myriad of reasons in addition to instancing (which only occurs during class missions, companion missions, and when a zone has more than 100 people). Also, it seems like you haven't been social. People are strange when you're a stranger in-game.
