  1. Jaguar or better still wouldnt do it. If your wife spent $3500 on a rig, that is Jaguar right there and she still cant run it correctly according to what you are saying. I am in agreement about the performance issue and like the OP I recently just did a clean sweap of my system installing a SSD and everything is fresh as can be. It just seems with every major patch a peformance hit is associated with it. Prior to the patch that fixed issues with Taris for some, I was getting solid 60fps on the fleet with a very rare occasion a drop to 50fps or so. After that Taris patch, I dropped as low as 26fps. With 1.1, I have been as low as 5fps in some areas. That is 5, not 50, not 55, but 5 FPS. I never have seen a game on my rig drop to 5fps. I also have a killer rig with a I72600k and 2x580's, I can chew up any game out there at solid 60fps at 1080p with 8xaa and all other graphics settings put to max. All but this one and Witcher 2 in uber sampling mode...but Witcher 2, even in non-uber mode destroys this game visually...yes, different genre however.
  2. Hi Res Textures buddy...Hi Res Textures!!! lol Oh and Ground Clutter draw distance or teh ability to give users a slider so we can determine if we want to see grass growing as we walk around or it already be grown.
  3. lol. I think part of it was to appease people with more content. Then they discover there is an issue and delay it one day. After all that, what they did release is a buggy mess that is causing even more problems now.
  4. BioWare/EA should hire Trion to make SWTOR! I mean that in a serious way. Let them rebuild the game while the current game is still running. Then in 2-3 years from now a post will be made about a major patch 10.0 is coming and to save your bandwidth because it is going to be BIG. Then one day we all get hit with a 30gig download and we are presented with a new SWTOR that looks better, runs better, has basic MMO things built in etc.
  5. Quick update to my last issue with the stats being wacky. It basically just fixed itself by equiping the item. Prior to equiping it said my stats would go down, which we all know is not right. So I equip the new item, see that my main stats go up exactly like they should. I decide to mouse over the older item and it properly shows that I would go down in stats if I equip the older item. I decided to equip the older item and my base stats go down as they should. However, now when I mouse over the new higher level item it NOW properly displays the increase in stats. I did this 2-3 times to see if would mess up again and it sticks. Now, this in no way means that it is fixed because the issue it still reports incorrect information and you should not have to equip items, then un-equip them to see the proper stats, but just another f'n bug in the game.
  6. I know there are a hundred or so threads on issues so why not make 101...lol. To be serious for a moment, I am not a high level as of yet, so alot of the screaming from the top of PVP issues I am not invovled with as of yet, but some issues that have cropped up for me are as follows: 1.) When running around the fleet every once in a while I will get the loading screen pop up for a second then it goes away. It has happend numerous times. 2.) Framerate on the fleet seems to be worse and at times my FPS jus drops from 60 to 20 and I am just standing still, with not many people around me. 3.) While crafting today, I was R.E. items and learned a new schematic, but the new schematic is not showing up under the items I can craft. 4.) I am sure this existed before, but I noticed it today as I have leveled up my crafting. My character has a Warriors Gloves with 46 Armor (Rating 22), Stats of +7 Strength & +8 Endurance. My crafting has gone up and I can craft Synth Assault Hand Gear with 167 armor (Rating 46), Stats of +17 Strength & +22 Endurance. When comparing the new item to the old it says I go down in armor, Str & End for all the stats. Basically, higher level gear will result in reduction of stats! I thought updates were suppose to improve the game not break it even more. Granted the issue with stats may be an on-going issue, but some of the things are just getting a bit "out of control".
  7. I could not find the answer, but was wondering for the Legacy system does the characters have to be on the same server or can they be on multiple servers since your account is linked to all the characters you make? Thanks!
  8. I was wondering what everyones Main character level is at and more interesting to know is what the users playtime is? You can find out how many days, hours, minutes you played your main character by logging into the game with said character and in the chat box type in " /played " without the quotes. My main is Level 26, with a playtime of 2 days, 18 hours and 56 minutes.
  9. Thanks for all the replies so far. I was hoping/expecting some big loading improvements, but hearing that some people have random 10-12min load times sounds pretty bad. I am currently on a regular HDD and the longest load I have had is about 1min or so. I was also hoping that some of the streaming data as you are exploring would improve some of the pop-in, but being that hte game is a technical mess I guess I was hoping for too much. Still looking forward to the SSD, especially boot times and I know some of the other games I have it will be a big benefit.
  10. I ordered a 256gb SSD and will be here on Monday. Just wondering if anyone is using an SSD and SWTOR and if you can post your impressions of how the game runs/load times are with a SSD? Would appreciate any feedback anyone can share. Thank You!
  11. Was messing around with it just to see what happens and when selecting some missions on this 4th crew skill, every once in a while it will give me an error saying "You dont know that recipe". Funny thing is that i am selecting a quest, not to make something.
  12. It appears that it does, but I just tried and it actually doesnt. When I click on it, it shows a list of quests for that bugged 4th one, when I send him out it switches it to something that one of my 3 main skills. So it is visual in the 4th icon, the 4 status bar and the fact that the crew quest list shows up, at times different levels of quests, but when selecting one it is actually a quest for you main 3 skills. Very strange bug and to hear it has been around since beta is a little depressing. Luckily it is not a game breaker issue, but still should have been fixed prior to retail release.
  13. See what I just posted above. It acutally let me do low level and up to level 50 skills before it changed back to only letting me do low levels again. Even got materials from it as well. Funny thing I noticed, the UI with the 4th skill looks like it belonged there all along. The only glitch visually, is the status bars above that shows the level of the 4 skills, the 4th one runs into the graphic of your first companion. But where it shows the icon of the crew skills next the portrait of the companion, it looks like the UI was designed to have a 4th crew skill.
  14. It is really bugged out. For some reason it was letting me do level 50 crew skill missions for this crew skill that is not suppose to be there. Then I select other skills and go back to this 4th one and now it is saying I can only do 1-16 level skills. Exit out and back into it and now the list shows I can do high level ones again. I did one for the hell of it and it said I gained level 51 in it, but when I tried again for the 4th time it now shows only levels 1-10 or whatever the lowest level quests are. I know this is a small bug...but damn are bugs just pilling up or what?
  15. Hi all. Not sure, but I thought you could only have 3 Crew skills? Today, I logged into my main character after not using him for about 4 days (I had an alt for some friends that just got the game). When I logged in, I went to my ship and wanted to do some of the crew skills when I noticed that I had a 4th crew skill available. One of these crew skills is one that I also have on my other character. When I selected the 4th one, the window which shows the quests for the companions was blank and said "undefined" in the drop down menu. Thinking it is just a bug and wont let me use it I sent off a ticket. I decided to send my main companion on one of his missions and no problem. I then decide to send the droid out and for the hell of it I selected that fourth crew skill and low and behold the list of quests showed up and let me send him out on the quest. Now, unless I am totally missing something and I did a quick google check, no matter what level, you can only have 3 crew skills in total unless I a totally out of it?
