  1. Yes, I believe that they can BUT they are now going to have to work twice as hard to counter the initial bad experience that it's left with a large number of players. To be fair, if you ignored the marketing and listened to what the Devs said at the various conventions, they DID tell everyone what this game was going to be. Unfortunately more people listened to the marketing departments fanticrap information and ended up with a different view of the game. I hope that they still care about the game and start to push out more features and content faster BUT they need to kick it into high gear and do it now. Soon is going to be too late to keep a lot of players.
  2. Yep, seems to be. Even the Tera forums are filled with hate posts and how bad that game is. I'm sure that GW2 will receive similar treatment.
  3. I don't doubt it. I left after the NGE stripped my Ranger of all of his skills and I REALLY like that character so I was done with Sony after that. I had two accounts just so I could have a crafter and a combat character.
  4. EQ2 did them a couple of times. My server, Everfrost, was merged with Crushbone (I believe that was the name).
  5. I'd like to see the "Open Quick UI Customization Menu" button moved off of the Main Quickbar along with the "Lock The Quickslot Bar" padlock and moved somewhere where you can't accidently click on it. I've done that several times during a fight and loaded different interfaces while I'm fighting. It's pretty easy to do.
  6. Yep, good article. I've respected Larry's opinion for a while now after watching him for a long time on gamebreaker.tv's "The Republic". I'll be here for the long haul with this game. I've long become immune to the "grass is always greener in the next MMO" disease.
  7. Don't be so nasty with your replies please. In any case, the mission in question is Drexel Sweep and is part of "Operation Sunder Zero" at level 50. I don't have a "3" key nor do I have enough commendations to get one.
  8. Sounds good to me. I've got nothing to loose at this point.
  9. Yes and yes. I'm not an idiot. I've tried the mission many times but as mentioned above the asteroid mission gets me every time. There's one point in the mission where a dozen enemies appear and it's basically impossible to dodge it all AND keep killing things so you don't fail the mission. At higher levels it typically takes several shots to down a fighter which makes it hard to keep up with everything. I've been running the Republic missions and when the Star Destroyer appears in the asteroid field, it tears me a new one quickly and that's with me dodging.
  10. I found the same thing to be true. I was going to add space missions as part of my daily/weekly Illum/Corellia dailies and found that I was getting my butt handed to be very quickly in space. I've been doing the space missions all along as I leveled but it's now just ridiculous. I upgraded all of my ship equipment to be epic versions and even bought the extra equipment to try and get an edge so I could last longer but it was to no avail. I used to run space missions as a break from the regular leveling process but it's now horribly frustrating so I don't even bother anymore. It's like I hit a wall or something.
  11. Nice to see something positive. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Yes, I'll be here for a long time. I want to experience all of the storylines and with only 1 level 50 (Trooper) while playing nearly every day, it's going to take me a long time to get them all done and by then, there will undoubtely be an expansion to keep me going. I don't care for PvP due to the personality types it tends to attract and the complaining going on now about PvP I've seen for years in other games and it never ends. It's highly likely that even GW2 won't satisify that crowd and it too will be deemed a "failure" as the herd scampers off to complain about the next game on the market. For me, if they ripped PvP out of the game and put the internal resources into expanding the game quicker, I'd be happy. As for now, the game is fine and pretty much what they said it was going to be.
  13. I don't think it's small either. I was fully patched and had played last night only to sit down tonight and the launcher starts downloading a 111 meg patch before the 200 meg patch hit. I can only get a download speed of around 55 kb/s as there are no other ISP's in the area that come out to where I am. I'm an hour and a half into patching with still 158 megs to go.
  14. Read the e-mail that you received We will be adding an additional 30 days of game time to your account at no charge*. The free 30 days will appear on your account by April 24, 11:59PM CDT, April 25, 4:59AM GMT.
  15. Thanks for a great update and staying committed to making the game even better!
  16. Agreed. Very well done devs! Keep up the good work.
  17. It's fine for me but I'm not that picky about UI stuff. I just roll with the punches.
  18. It's coming in the next patch C2-N2 and 2V-R8 no longer vocalize crafting commentary during combat.
  19. /Agree It's tiring the see the same complaints from people who DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION during the entire 5 year development process where they said TOR was going to be the kind of game that it is. Repeat - Bioware made the game that they said they were going to make. The game is what it is. Please move along if you are not happy with it and prepare to be disappointed by Guild Wars 2 becuase you also didn't pay attention to its development either.
  20. It could be a server specific issue. On Corellian Run I received an e-mail last night and the bar up top said I had an e-mail, the box itself indicated I had one but when I opened the mailbox, there was nothing there.
  21. Well, the auction house is in WoW so no worries as this is SWTOR.
  22. It made you think your monitor had a pixel out.
