Confirmed this is happening with myself on my 60 marauder and my friend who is on his 60 sorcerer. We received the quest this evening but it cannot be completed as it tells us we must complete our class story arc to proceed. For my marauder it lists "Retribution" as the quest I need to do. That is the final quest in the SW class story from chapter 3. Clearly this is a bug as I have completed that quest. As a side note, I received and completed my class story arc on rishi on another character prior to todays patch.

I would suggest creating another character first and offloading any items or credits to them first. Then by all means delete and reroll. If you have setup a stronghold and legacy storage unit already, then you can also put things in there as they persist.

You will suffer all the normal limitations of that status (number of active characters, crew skills, etc). With regards to the KOTFE content, whatever has been unlocked thus far should still be available to you. I cannot speak for upcoming chapters, as you might need a sub to get those as they come out (don't quote me on that).

I had this issue a lot when I was using an Anti-virus program. I am not recommending you remove yours but you might want to look into how to exclude directories and exclude the SWTOR install directory.

If that is the case then you might not have used the unlock before changing the character. If you did and it still double charged you, open up a support ticket and ask for a reimbursement. I am unsure of the cost for a race change in the appearence change. I do not think it is 450CC, so likely my above explaination is the case or you got double dinged without reason.

I play both and enjoy both for different reasons. WoW is classic and filled with many memories. I have a lot of time invested in my characters and continue to play through the amazing story they continue to provide. They have come a long way with their QoL features and continue to fill my gametime with plenty to do. I love Star Wars and when I get that itch I play here. There are lot of features in SWTOR I enjoy: strongholds, collections, companions, voiced story, even ship missions... I think both fill a similar area of the MMO spectrum but there are enough differences to keep one interested.

I think this is your answer. I swear I remember "buying" my NS stronghold for 0 credits when Galactic Strongholds launched.

I'm not too sure how long a new character leveled to 60 would take, as the questing has changed slightly. Supposedly you can do just the class story and planetary story arcs (purple quest icons for both) and level up that way. I have not confirmed it. I would recommend trying with a new character and leveling a bit to get back in the swing of things. I personally find it a lot easier to get back into the game like that.

I'm not a PvPer and most times greatly dislike this aspect of the game. That being said, I am choosing to pursue this companion by slowly chipping away at my 20 warzones. So far only 5 in three days, but I will get there eventually. Looking forward to see what other parts of the game you need to play to get comps.

There is not likely to be a sale on subs, however there are sometimes bundles available. Back in the last expansion there was one for $40 which had the expansion, 2 months of game time and $20 of cartel coins which was a great deal.

Collections also shows items from special promotions and reputations in game. Unless it has changed you need to hit up the rep vendors for the rep items. All promotional items show up in your mailbox on character creation (or once they are available)

The character limit is increased by 2 more with KotFE. It was previously 12 per server and is now 14. I'm not sure what the current F2P and Preferred limits are.

Is this the first time you have logged onto the character since last week? If so, it may be a result of the way equipment works for companions now. It is all cosmetic now. You only equip what you want the companion to look like. Their strength is directly tied to your gear.

Did not start the chapter prior to todays maintenance. I am a Scoundrel. Cannot click terminal on the quest section where it says "Use the Access Terminal". Re-logging did not help. Just reset and re-completed that chapter up to that point and same result. Cannot click on the terminal.

As stated, Fall would be September or October. The exact date has not been stated. With regards to the secondary quests, if you are intending to push through the story and hit max level, don't even pick them up. If you want to play through the planets, I suggest doing them as you do the planets as the XP will be better and you will get more relevant rewards. If you picked a bunch up and want to get rid of them or at least not track them, press L. Quests will have a radio button next to them and clearing it will un track them. You can also select them and hit abandon to drop the quest.

My understanding is that it does enable 12x xp for you, but why not try it out? You will see a yellow border around the XP bar and XP in tiny gold letters at the end of it. If you see this then you are experiencing 12x XP.

This is the ultimate solo class as far as I am concerned. My companion tank has his 192 and I am similarly geared. I can get through just about anything I need to and stealth by what I cannot.

I am 100% positive that you can install it on your other drives as I have all my games on my larger drive to save my SSD from drowning in game files.

This is the correct answer. Now the amount of companions you can send out at once does not increase, as it is based on level. At 60 you can send out 6. So why add HK and Treek? They have the generic +5 mission efficiency and +1 crafting critical which makes them valuable for crafting as it gives you a better chance of crits (multiples or augment slots depending on the craft) regardless of craft. That and they are both pretty darn cool companions.

I leveled my scoundrel up pure healing and had no issues. I definitely do less damage than a dps spec but for the story and leveling it was no issue.
