  1. Yeah I'm not sure if they are or not either. I would like to think that collections are account wide. I will make a toon on a new server and check.
  2. Hit level 15 and get the Dromund Kaas (or Coruscant if you are republic). It is mega cheap and will not set you back from eventually getting Nar Shaddaa. Get it as soon as you can because you can use it as a hub to quickly travel between where you are at to fleet or your ship (once you have it). You can also setup legacy storage there to share items between characters. I have a Legacy bank, guild bank, and cargo hold, as well as item mod, appearence mod, and GTN in my entry room for Coruscant. I also have a merchant so I can go and offload mats and sell junk whenever then quickly be whisked back to where I was just at. Super handy.
  3. Oh sorry about that I misunderstood your question. Yeah they have to be on the same character to unlock as stated above.
  4. They would follow you. I think collections may be account wide, but if you are transferring a character, it is moot. They will be there for sure if you are transferring.

    speeder

Yes. Short for Galactic Trade Network. There will be terminals. One note on the unlocking it for collections, you need to unlock it from a different character on your account to unlock it account wide. You will not get the option to unlock account wide on the same character that learned the mount initially.
  6. You must be pressing Ctrl-Left click as that is the preview key combo. Shift-left click will link.
  7. Guild Starship is live as of last week. A solid showing for our crew pushed us into the top 5. Not bad for a small guild who didn't even start until Thursday when we started to figure out how conquests work. Looking forward to some double XP. We aren't doing ops on our own currently, but we are partnered with another group presently and are working on doing some hard modes to get some more people geared up. Come join and active guild based out of a solid community.

    speeder

In your Legacy Window, you can buy speeder piloting 1 to get the ability at level 10. You would need to meet the legacy level requirements for purchasing this. I believe this is what you are looking at. Personally, I recommend holding off. You get speeder piloting normally at level 15. Getting it 5 levels early is just not worth the credits. Once you hit 15, you would need to go to your trainer and learn Speeder Piloting 1. You will also need to go to a speeder vendor and purchase one to actually have something to ride.
  9. At end game you will be looting (or buying with high end commendations) moddable armor with mods in it already. There is typically a set bonus which is tied to the armoring. It can be moved to another item of the same slot (chest to chest, for example) Just another note for the moddable vs adaptive differences. All adaptive armor is moddable, but not all moddable armor is adaptive. I hope that helps.
  10. I do not think there has ever been a character purge. They have released names, but that does not delete the characters, only assigns them a random gibberish name until the player logs back in.
  11. Species unlocks are for all classes, plus in the case of twilek, and Zabrak it unlocks the customization options from both factions. For Cyborg it unlocks all the different cybernetic customization options from all the classes. If you cannot make a sith warrior twi'lek then either you did not unlock the species or something is bugged. I would suggest as above, submit a ticket.
  12. This is totally how I roll. Might want to note that when you do buy those cartel market sets, if you can get the complete set on one character and equip it, it then unlocks for that character. This means you can pull down infinite copies for that character. Now if you log on another character and find it in the collection, you can choose to pay cartel coins to unlock the collection for every character. Instant moddable gear for everyone and their companions! The cost is as low as 60CC up to 240CC for armor. Weapons, titles, crystals, pets, and mounts may vary.
  13. And if you are unsure about deleting it, either move it to your desktop or rename it to client_settings.old.
  14. If you log in and have a Rishi Idol decoration in your mailbox, then you are good to go. Also at 55 a terminal in your ship will have a quest for SoR Prelude.
  15. You can also complete objectives on an individual level and if you acquire all 35000 points in the week then you get some jawa junk (exchangable for crafting materials), credits, and some random gathering decorations for your stronghold. Most of the items are pretty straightforward, but you definitely need to focus on them to get them completed in the week.
  16. Yes. Galactic Strongholds and Galactic Starfighter were always included. RotHC is automatically unlocked if you sub. SoR is $20. A day earlier and you could have gotten it for $40 along with 60 days of game time and 2400cc. It is well worth it. The storyline leading up to and through Rishi was a lot of fun. Yavin was okay too, not quite as deep in the story but some big twists.
  17. The entitlement is strong in this one.
  18. The story continues through Makeb and into Shadows of Revan but it is very generic and does not vary from class to class. I thought I remembered hearing about more class specific stories but I have yet to see them. There are some little parts of SoR which are class specific. On Rishi, each class gets a mission from a character from their original story, for example. Thats it though. Everything else is the same for all of that faction (have not done imp side SoR to confirm that one yet)
  19. I had something like this happen. I updated my nVidia driver and it changed my SWTOR settings. I needed to drop the resolution on that monitor to see what was happening and reverted it to Fullscreen (Windowed) to fix it. Not sure if this sounds like your issue. Hope that helps.
  20. Actually until tomorrow you can get SoR, 2 months subscription and 2400 cartel coins for $40 ($70 value). Steal of a deal if you have some spare cash. Go here: http://www.swtor.com/choose-your-path/rejoin Click buy now at the bottom to get it.
  21. ....and hit the Buy Now at the bottom (I was confused the first time I went too)
  22. You can go to the Strongholds section of the fleet and there will be a terminal for Coruscant (or Dromund Kaas for imps), Tatooine, and Nar Shadaa. If you do not have a stronghold, pick up the Corus/DK one as it is only 5000 credits.
  23. When at the star map you can mouse over planets and see the recommended level range. Personally, if I am at the top end of that range for the planet I am on, I drop the planetary quests and just do my class story. If you are not at the low end of a planet's recommended level range, I would not even head there yet. Go back a few planets (Voss, Hoth or Belsavis) and do the non-class story quests to level up. Alternatively, run some flashpoints to catch up or some starfighter matches.
  24. Oricon and CZ-198 have relevant content to your level. Also you could purchase Shadows of Revan and level to 60 in the newer content.
  25. Getting involved with Conquests and Ops with another Christian-based guild. Lots of new faces. Still rolling along solidly. Come check us out!
