  1. I never said I lost matches because of this. It is true that matches are often won because so many opposition team members are busy healing each other, but my complaint was that no one dies and multiple healers are very difficult to kill. Ultimately, matches are slowed down dramatically and are not enjoyable because 90% of the time is spent running around in circles whaling on players who simply will not ide.
  2. Of course, but a skilled sorc healer with guard and at least another healer topping them up? No chance. Edit: In case it wasn't clear in my first post, I'm not talking about single healers being difficult to kill, I mean groups where you have multiple healers and tanks, which is becoming increasingly common on my server (though perhaps it's just the times I play).
  3. All these L2P posts are stupid. I don't know about other servers but the current situation on the Shadowlands is almost every match has 2-3 healers per side. Even on my Fury Mara, with 2.5k+ DPS (probably not much, but I only do regs) a match, it is simply not possible to kill a well-played healer unless all the other DPS are whaling on them (keep in mind, only the top 5-6 break 1mil damage, there's a lot of **** DPSers out there). If there's another healer in the match, let alone 2 more, killing any of them is virtually impossible unless you can seperate one from the others and nuke him quickly. My point is, taking down healers is next to impossible in regs, unless you have either a premade, or the fortune to have a group of good players that can co-ordinate interrupts, CDs, etc to nuke. I'm quite sure anyone that seriously thinks a 'decent' DPS like myself needs to somehow 'L2P' is either a troll, or only runs premades with their own pocket sorc heals.
  4. There definitely needs to be a few more Twi'lek customisation options, at least expand the head/face options to be able to use those available to most other species. Togruta are able to use these faces, don't see why Twi'leks can't. Some more, simple headwraps would be nice as well, even some of the current options minus the metallic trinket on them would look good.
  5. They really need to bring back the B/G/S packs ASAP, prices on the older armour sets are getting ridiculous. I didn't purchase the Satele set back when they were going for ~10mil a few weeks ago, but now I've created a new Jedi toon, I need the set to complete their look -and the set is going for ~25mil. The same applies for many other sets which have gone from 3-5mil to 8-10mil+.
  6. Who should I contact if I'm interested in joining <Grievance>? Returned to the game about a month ago, looking to get into HM raiding with my lightning Sorc.
  7. Korrealis model speeders: Removed in a 1.(something) patch, now only obtainable from the GTN by buying them people who happened to buy a whole lot of them. Owning one meant you were either a long time player, or had 20 million+ credits. Either way, owning one was quite an achievement (despite there not being an actual achievement for it). However, a new Korrealis model speeder has been added in the latest CM pack, so people who cried about not having one since they weren't around for them could be satisfied. For some reason almost everyone is fine with this. Sand People Bloodguard Armour: limited edition armour from a non-recurring event over a year ago, pre-achievement system. Armour set gets removed, but then added as requirement for a meta achievement later on. People realise this is unreasonable and complain..."Tough luck, you CHOSE not to buy the armour set, so you and 99.9999999% of the game's population will never, ever obtain this achievement" I guess I better start buying every single armour model in the game in case it ever gets removed then added as part of an achievement. Or perhaps I should just quit the game because it's not 100% to my liking. -_- inb4 ratajack and muffin boy tear down my post and assert their opinion on everyone who actually wants the game to improve...
  8. If I acquire the Thana Vesh leggings, bracers, belt and feet from packs or buying them, then acquire the chest via the Contraband Resale vendor, will the set be added to my collections? Or does it only count for the authentic set pieces?
  9. I've seen a lot of people use accents in their character names (' , ^ , ` etc), how do I use this? I tried looking it up and various sources speak about using ALT + some random number, e.g. 160. Not sure what this means... Could anyone explain how to put accents above letters in my character's name, in simple terms?
  10. Just looking for some specifics regarding this achievement... -Is it even attainable? I've heard of many entries that are bugged. -Do I need to get ALL the Lore entries for each planet, or just the ones listed in the 'Loremaster of <insert planet>'? -Do I need to get Lore entries for both Republic and Imperial side for the achievement? Or can I obtain the title by getting all the Lore entries for just Imperial Side planets, for example?
  11. Hey, just looking to buy, or buy a crafter to make a War Hero Force-Master Chestpiece (Or any other variation, as long as the design is the same). Willing to pay a good amount of credits for one. If you're interested in making or selling me one of these, mail me in game... (Name: Varazha)
  12. A few things that annoy me, in no particular order (just thinking of them as I type): 1. People who start combat in Flashpoints before the tank, and then proceed to quit the group after they get annihilated by the mobs. It's as if they *think* it's the rest of the group's fault that they died -.- 2. People who dress themselves and/or their (female) companion in one of those various reskinned 'Slave Girl' outfits. Even more stupid if they're tanks. 3. People who roll 'need' on gear that isn't useful for their class, then argue that 'it's for their companion' when they win the awesome piece of gear I've just done 10 runs of the Flashpoint for. (this only really happens in Story Mode Flashpoints, so lv10-50 players) 4. Like the OP, people who tell you (often quite rudely) to 'learn to love the spacebar' or some BS. It annoys me especially on the earlier level Flashpoints where, 9 times out 10, someone in the group won't have done it before. It's not their problem that you've run the Flashpoint 100 gazillion times on Hard Mode, toughen up. 5. Pre-made Arena teams consisting of an Operative healer, Juggernaut tank, and two Marauders...queuing in unranked PvP. Whilst it doesn't make them bad or annoying people, it's really frustrating encountering them on my 'Marauder fodder' healing Sorcerer. 6. People who tell me to 'stop QQing' and 'quit the game if you don't like it' just because I'm a bit frustrated over a certain point in the game. Why on earth would a quit the game and abandon my multiple lv55s, just over a minor frustration? People must think I'm such a QQing kid for not *loving* every aspect of the game. I can only assume they're playing Marauder or Sniper. 7. Speaking of Shadows/Assassins, people who seem to think that we're the best tanks in the game, because we 'have stealth' and 'easy aggro'. The aggro part is true, but being able to stealth out of combat really is a last resort, save your ***** ability to use, and you'll be hated for it anyway. 8. People who kick me from groups for reminding the tank to use his/her tanking stance. I try to sound as polite as possible, but I guess people don't like to be told what to do, even if it means saving the group from certain failure. 9. Marauders/Sentinels who leap to the EXACT target I just marked, mezzed, and explained not to touch. 10. Lastly, people who never, ever actually contribute to threads, and instead dissect, analyse and criticize people's posts. This is an online game forum guys. 11. Just thought of this now, and I'll get a lot of flak for it if a 'certain few' people read it, but people who come to the General Forums, and post almost *everyday* about the next game-breaking PvP problem. Yes, this game has PvP, but it IS primarily PvE game, no arguing. I can understand that there is a decent-sized PvP focused player base here, but this game isn't doomed if one more QQer unsubs. I hate to say it, but in most cases the stuff people complain about is either a perception problem, or a L2P issue. EDIT: How could I forget, the people always discussing much fun they had in SWG, and how lame this game is in comparison. SWTOR isn't SWG, and it never will be. I'm fine with people reminding each other of the great times they had, but when they start talking about what it had that SWTOR didn't I start to go all 'get over it buddy', or just '*sigh*'.
  13. I'm sure this has already been suggested, but oh well. It would be great (even if it was a Cartel Market item) if there was an invisible (moddable) headpiece you could wear, to force hoods down, on outfits with them. It should be really simple to just add it to the next Bounty Pack coming out, and would make those of us who don't want hoods on certain pieces of gear happy. Just an idea.
