What story? , Becomes grindy fast, crafting SWTOR - 2 months (subscribed for 3, not going to renew) Good: Leveling first character 1-50, great story, voiceover, music, lighsabers;) Bad: Graphics, Rat maze design, 95% repeatable quests for all classes (except story), super easy, RNG, worthless crafting, nothing to do at level 50, no rpg tools, no social tools, Ilum, no day/night cycle, lifeless worlds
  2. Sounds bad. Frostclaw now: Republic Fleet 124 Imperial Fleet 152
  3. SWTOR was great for 2 months, but let`s be serious - 2012 game should look like that:
  4. Ford T. You can paint it any color, so long as it's black.

  7. This. I really enjoyed leveling my first character, but after hitting cap there is not much to do. Aprat from daily quest there is only one one option, re-roll. 30+ days of my subscription left and I'm playing LOTRO instead of TOR... Waiting for some good news in 6 hours: http://countingdownto.com/countdown/37040
  8. I agree. SWTOR has the best trailers = the best game ofc.
  9. This and this: http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/01/06/turbine-lotro-revenue-tripled-since-going-f2p/
  10. The biggest problem of GW2 is Guild Wars... Many people think that "2" is similar to "1"(fully instanced), while it is not the case. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBC_ig73aMs&ob=av3e
  11. I have been following this thread for a while and I agree with Dreossk almost on all points, but I started to wonder if we don't idealize the games we played in the past (you know, the grass was greener etc.). I did some research and here you are: - real looking cities - lots of npcs - kids running - guards patroling - awesome graphics - real water - wind moving grass - day/night effects It feels so polished. Can't believe this game failed. Hell, maybe I'll renew my subscription.

  13. 1-click crafting 2-click combat 3-click space missions Pro;)

  15. Mercenary 50, Valor 40 Operative 44, Valor 30 Shadow 29 Juggernaut 29 Commando 24 Sorc 18 Gunslinger 11 Bored. I'll try to level my Operative to 50 to see how the story ends, but that's all. Maybe I'll check SWTOR in 6 months to see if something changed. I played LOTRO today and there is some kind of magic in this game. SWTOR lacks a soul.
  16. Well, I have 6 toons on one server, both Rep and Imp and they share the same Legacy name and gain experience. http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/719852/swtor-legacy-system-guide-details-rewards-and-benefits-for-star-wars-the-old-republics-family-tree/ ""The Legacy tree is basically a family. So think of Star Wars, it does have a lot of family elements in it. The most famous family relationship in cinema almost is Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. So with the Legacy system, you can make your characters the sons, daughters, brothers, friends of your main character. All of the characters you have within the family tree that you've created, they all gain experience.""
  17. Congrats:) I would not wait for legacy. There is literally nothing to do after 1 week once you hit level 50 (my main fell asleep - level 40 valor with full champion set), so I just keep rerolling once my subscription runs out (40 days left). If I followed this thread correctly, you hit level 50 on your Shadow. Guess you've been using Tharan Cedrax all the time (well I do run with him anyway). Maybe you could go back to your mara now and try to get to level cap with healing companion? If you plan to reroll I'd suggest Bounty Hunter/Trooper Mercenary/Commando. Both are great for leveling (you can easily 1-2 shot group of mobs) and PVP. Due to some differences in mechanics BH is slightly better than Trooper, also you get your healing companion around level 10). Personally I did enjoy playing Mercenary and Juggernaut most, followed by an Operative and Shadow.
  18. Go back to Taris and complete all solo quests and Taris Bonus series. Keep your companion gear up to date. Keep your gear up to date. Log out in cantinas to gain resed xp. Do some PVP to gain additional XP (daily quest at republic fleet). Same with space missions (remember to equip your ship with stuff).
  19. There is only one problem with TERA... ... Guild Wars 2:P
  20. You have 41 days of play time remaining. When your play time runs out, you will no longer be able to play.
  21. OP and others - I've heard that installing those libraries sometimes help, especially on slower machines: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/confirmation.aspx?id=8109 Here's the thread: http://www.swtor.com/de/community/showthread.php?t=259967
