  1. C. Find your look (custom armor, social gear, etc), then fill it out. I like it.
  2. Around 5.4k. It's rare for me to snag that 5k medal, but now that I've got augged gear with surge augs it happens a little more frequently.
  3. On Krayt Dragon? That just happened to me the other day... didn't think we had any quitters, though.
  4. Bolster is intended to buff everyone's stats so they are approximate to that of a level 49 character. That way the level 10-49 brackets have some balance, but note you still need to earn your higher level skills so level 20s will still be at a disadvantage to 40s. MVP votes will get you some more Valor after completing a WZ and maybe some bragging rights. I'm a little unsure since I haven't had to buy Battlemaster gear since 1.2, but I'm pretty sure you'll use WZ Commendations to purchase those. Wish I could help you with your server questions, but I'm on a PvE server. Good luck!
  5. I've seen similar things happen myself in Voidstar. A bomb gets planted and someone immediately unstealths afterwards. I've never seen it happen in ACW, but I'm certain it does. I think it might be a lag issue, but have no idea. If it is a lag issue I also wouldn't doubt that some have figured out how to exploit it.
  6. What I'd like to see with cross-server queuing is a limit of one of each AC per team. Premades, I am certain, will cry bloody murder over this but ultimately this would help with the diversification of WZs. I've seen tons of posts to the effect of "this PUG had 5 healers, there was no way to win!" With my proposal I think that you'd see a whole new evolution of tactics and strategy that would ultimately benefit PvP. Edit: Obviously premades would have to be a static eight players for this to work.
  7. I've got a sniper on Krayt Dragon (Scytale) that I thoroughly enjoy playing. I average around 5 medals a game, which at first glance is admittedly unimpressive (hoping for a slight improvement if/when I get my BM gear). However, you have to remember all you're getting medals for is crits, dmg, kills & killing blows. The play style is a bit different so I usually go into my WZ with my own objectives like: control a certain area, harass healers, etc. and find this just as gratifying as capping points & planting bombs. My biggest hang up is with Scoundrels & Operatives who see me behind cover and sneak up for an easy kill. With the Entrenchment ability this is somewhat lessened, but there are certainly a few critical seconds while you're waiting for your CD to finish. You might find yourself a bit squishy, but if you work in conjunction with others you'll definitely be a productive member of the team. Huttball has a real learning curve, but if I'm on my A game I can central score once or twice. Voidstar and Alderran are a blast 'cause you can just post up and level people 'till the cows come home. Ultimately it all comes down to enjoyment, I definitely suggest you try the class. Play some lvl 20ish PVP, figure some things out and if you don't like it you can always make something more run-and-gun minded. If you have anything specific you'd like to ask feel free to message
  8. Separate the load time for the planet between regular Ilum and the Western Ice Shelf so the PvP area would load faster and I probably wouldn't leave the planet. As it stands I don't want to do a WZ then when I finish have to wait for Ilum to load so I'll go back to the fleet. I like your idea, though. Put in class vendors, make loading the planet a little faster and I'd never leave.
  9. "Now you see how Intelligence handles things." Not my favorite line, but I'll be damned if it wasn't my most used one through my IA story.
  10. My main is a Sniper, I enjoy it thoroughly. While he can't move the ball in huttball he's excellent at covering points in Alderaan and Voidstar. A great trick is to pair up with a couple other players, snipers work best in a support roll in my opinion.
  11. I typically leave for only two reasons, not counting IRL intervention: 1) bugged occurance where I can't move or click 2) I load into a match with two mins left, my team is already losing and members are dropping like flies. Though, occasionally, if I want the commendations I'll stick it out and try to win a few medals.
  12. Ships definitely need a mailbox. A purchasable type of vendor would be cool too, so you can stock up on your ship. Really liked the idea about showing off trophies and stuff, too.
  13. How's your FPS? I've noticed that even if you're well equipped poor video performance will really hold you back.
  14. You can get new recipes at crafting trainers, found on the fleet and various other planets There are security key vendors on the fleet and Dromund Kaas. They're probably elsewhere, too, but I don't really look for 'em. Once you start crafting sell your purples on the Galactic Trade Network. Couple that with questing and you should be good. Ofcourse, there are oranges for every type of armor. Cybertechs can make parts for droids. You also get them as quest rewards sometimes. Check heavy armor vendors, also, but I wouldn't recommend bring your droid out unless you need healed - he's not a combat model No, but Cybertechs can make stuff for droids, as well as star ship parts and speeders.
