  1. was hoping to further the discussion beyond myself. anyone else out there? :3
  2. Heh well my implementation is a bit different, check out the screenshots.
  3. Hey all, I wanted to start a thread to see if there were other inventory management enthusiasts like me that have made systems to organize their bags and banks. So to start off I'm an Artifice/TH/Arch on my 50 Assassin with all companions maxed in affection. I have one level 10 alt that is used for listing additional auctions, mostly level 50 blue gear, epic rank 5 gifts, and lower level artifice items. I also use his bank space to store rank 5 blue gifts. Every time I get a batch of 8 gifts I send them to a level one. My level one's only use is for storing items that I don't have room for and don't plan on using for a long time. This allows me to store items in the mail without having to stop using the auto loot mail button [if any SWTOR employee reads this: please increase the cap of 50 auctions per character!]. I don't have any crew skills on my level 10 as most of the items he sells are mailed from my main. Recently I started leveling a Sniper who is now level 30 with Armstech/Investigation/Slicing. Originally I was leveling her for the purpose of being a slicer but I noticed during the process that there was a real lack of Armstech on my server. I checked the Investigation mission page on the GTN and it was nearly 20 pages long. I decided to buy out most of the missions and have kept the mission prices on the GTN the same since. Her inventory is mainly used for leveling and space to store the 340 Investigation missions. Her bank space stores the materials received from the missions and the schematics [which I also send to my level one]. I figured that I did not need Scavenging and could buy most of the mats in order to level and find a supplier for grade 6 when I hit 50. By keeping Slicing I can use the time when I'm not crafting Armstech items. I also just leveled my Republic alt the other day and now have 50 epic listings on their GTN. I had 150 auctions [nearly 2 bays worth of items] listed at the time the screenshots were taken. Well here is the album of my inventory, I included detailed captions in the album explaining arranged inventory space areas. http://imgur.com/a/2tYPf Please share your own albums. I'm very interested in seeing how other players organize their inventory and hope to learn something from this thread to improve my own. ----- I also made a reddit post: Older screenshots of my inventory are below.
  4. Artifice is not pointless http://imgur.com/a/NipuQ
  5. I'm giving you helpful advice and you're not taking it. That's ignorance. Alright, I'm done trying to help you, good luck. I suggest changing crew skills or quitting the game.
  6. I'd love for someone to prove me wrong. You're using the same excuses to keep to your point. You keep saying "I'm too lazy to use my brain to figure out how to make credits. I want to be able to just craft the BEST itemzz evar and sell them for millions." I'm telling you that there IS money in Artifice and yet you refuse my statement which I have obviously backed up and proven. As for the enhancements, you're obviously forgetting the fact that in the scenario you would have many enhancements left in your inventory. You don't post everything you have at once, you watch the market and adjust prices accordingly. Let's say you bought 5 Battle enhancements for 20k, those were the only ones available on the market. You have one already, and you know people on your server will buy at 40k if the price was 40k. So you list one at 40k, and then some daily non-crafting player posts ONE for 35k. You still have 5 of the enhancements to use to undercut any new listings AND you can CRAFT the enhancement that are now selling for a high profit price. Remember they were selling for 20k before, and you weren't making any money. It's called investing, something you're obviously not familiar with and is very important in this game. Think buddy. Use your brain and stop being a lazy bottom-feeder.
  7. There is nothing stopping you from buying out all the super cheap enhancements that come from dailies. If you buy all of the available enhancements on the market that are selling for 20k and then post them at 40k which is closer to their market value, what happened to your "problem"? You're now making money off of other people who are too stupid to price items properly. You're right. Artifice is a TERRIBLE crew skill for YOU, because you want to put ZERO thought into what you're crafting and just list items for 500,000c each. Artifice doesn't work the same way, you sell a larger inventory items for a smaller amount, but you sell a lot more. There is no getting to this kid, was hoping for some intelligent discussion in this thread but obviously that isn't happening.
  8. How about you try typing in complete sentences. ~lyk dis if u cry evrytime~. I'm the ignorant person who has made millions off of Artifice, have a 2.5 and 1.5 million mount, and have the Infernal and Unyielding title. Yea, I clearly have NO IDEA what I'm talking about. Apparently you didn't take a good look at the album I posted earlier that's also in my signature. YES, there are items that can be gotten from dailies easier. BUT GUESS THE #%#! what buddy, people will STILL buy them, because they either do not know about the commendation equivalent or are TOO LAZY to do that when they can just purchase a nearly as good item on the GTN. I sell the grade 6 level items on an hourly basis, for the last two months. Read my entire post. If you can't, it's obvious that you're just too stupid to understand.
  9. I believe there people like you are so ignorant that they complain about absolutely nothing only because they are doing it wrong. Artifice is easily one of the best marketable crew skills [enhacements, hilts, color crystals, off hands, magenta, remodding gear], with THE BEST crew skill exclusive items. You're asking for Bioware to buff a crew skill which you seem to not be able to fully grasp in understanding, which is pure ignorance. So a Synthweaver can make a bracer and a belt, that are not BiS. If you were to find an orange bracer and orange belt and put a level 58 armoring and mod in them, they are much better than the Synthweaving version. There is no way to get orange relics, and the available-to-all operative level relics are harder to get than any Rakata piece. Come next patch when orange items become big, Artifice will have another advantage selling crit crafted lightsabers. Biochem is not a good crew skill for players looking to make money on the GTN. There are a LOT of Biochems, making the idea of selling anything in the Biochem market that much worse. There are only so many stims to sell, and the 340 missions on all servers have probably gone up to just about their actual value [meaning that their markup and profits are much lower]. Implants are good sellers, but you need to get the right schematic that has a high demand. They aren't BiS unless you crit craft, and the components come from operatives making the amount of money you can make limited to a weekly schedule. Also if you can get your hands on one of the best resusable Exotech stims before anyone else on your server there is big money there, but that's a different story. So what, Artifice doesn't have high end schematics that sell for 6 digits. They balanced that fact by giving Artifice many other things that other crew skills do not have, it's just a matter of figuring those things out on your own. Artifice isn't bottlenecked as other crew skills that rely on random drops from operatives to make their gear. Artifice can craft 24/7, with credits and time being the only limit. Artifice, as well as Armstech, have the advantage of being the only crew skills to use their own grade 6 epic mission components. Artifice has Treasure Hunting [TH] and Armstech has Investigation. The other crew skills have shared markets, making buying missions and components much harder to do since there will be more people doing it. Since TH only has Artifice to supply to, it's fairly easy to "control" the mission and gem prices. There are players, at least on my server, that use TH for a supplying purposes only [meaning they don't craft, only resell gems from the 340 missions]. They will then sell the gems at a price that keeps the mission price in mind, meaning easy money by simply buying the gems and turning them. Depending on the gems price price you should be able to figure out whether they are worth to buy at the market rate when compared to the mission cost. The more suppliers to crafters there are, the better the market is for you. If you're able to buy all missions at a certain price, and never let them get below that price, good things happen, especially if you're the only person doing so. I could go on and on but I'm just trying to make the point that Artifice is the best [or one of the best depending on your server] crew skill to have for both money making and having the best gear possible.
  10. I have had no issue making money as an Artifice on my server. The first few weeks in January were the best for all crafts, but as things are finally settling down I still make on average 500k each day from just relisting auctions. Hope this album might offer some assistance in understanding how it's possible. http://imgur.com/a/NipuQ tldr; you're doing it wrong. Edit: Funny how you believe Artifice gets the shaft when you can craft two BiS trinkets that can crit craft with augment slots. What other crew skill gets two aug slots and two better than operative-level items?
  11. When I first saw the ability and saw 20 seconds, my jaw dropped
  12. I mainly PvP on my Assassin in PvE gear at level 50. I do quite well when not against super high expertise players with the ability kill almost anyone in a 1v1 scenario. I started a Sniper alt since I noticed there were not many on my server [assuming thats the same for most], and I leveled to 24, filled my items, and speced into Marksmanship. After playing many matches with the same result, I'm curious as to why I haven't seen more snipers score well in PvP matches while on my level 50. Seeing the sniper tool set I'm surprised I'm ever able to kill one. To all the nonbelievers here is a screenshot I had tonight from a non-grouped huttball game. The key is keybindings! http://i.imgur.com/p55OA.jpg Edit: Also here's a 50-0 on my Assassin: http://i.imgur.com/db6rd.jpg Edit2: not fake http://i.imgur.com/20fEW.jpg
  13. I have gotten 4 epics so far from Treasure Hunting 340's.
