Hello everyone so I am a 50 PT in full war hero combat tech gear (including all my trinkets n such) with a few elite things and well AP just isn't holding up like it used to in PVP. I enjoy it a lot more than pyro but I think to stay competitive I will have to respec. I am just concerned because I REAALLYYYY dont want to reget my warhero set for the 15% railshot crit. Is it required? Can i be competitive in combat tech? I worked my *** off for this set back when it was hard to get and i just really dont want to grind out another armor set. Or would i be better off just sticking with AP? I can faceroll most people and I am always top 3 damage... but everyone and their mom has convinced me that pyro is the grass that is indeed greener on the other side. Any advice would be hot. Ty

I'm going to be honest here. On the whole gear situation... i complained a lot about it to. "REMOVE EXPERTISE!" I said. Meanwhile as I worked through the tears I climbed up to 1300 expertise and now I am on par with if not better geared than most of the people I PVP with, and I can honestly say I'd probably be a little pissy if they removed expertise now after all the suffering I did. You just need to fight your way to that better gear, get over that initial barrier of entry into PVP and then it's a blast.

You can trade them in for ranked commendations at 30 regular to 10 ranked. Then you can buy the war hero gear.

2 is very small and is what my 50 gunslinger is. I settled with 3 for my 50 BH and it looks odd at first but once you start getting heavier looking armor it looks fantastic, much better than 2 imo.

On my server they are going for 10k each on the fleet.

This is true. I usually still get 50+ comms for losses but I always have 10 or more medals *shrug*

More reason to win. I have noticed since the patch that my teams generally try harder to win now rather than just go kill hunting. I think this "no progress for losers" idea is actually a good one. Yeah it sucks when you lose, but you have to admit... everyone is trying harder

I have my money on keybindings being OP. Soon we will see posts saying NO MORE KEYBINDINGS

I honestly agree with the OP... When i lose 1 to 6 in huttball and all the republic are shouting GG it's almost offensive. I just wana crawl back to my ship and sulk /sarcasm

Swearing doesn't make you look intelligent. And the game is no where near failing, sounds a lot more like you are just butt hurt for some reason.

My server population has really boomed too. I think Republic side has grown a lot more than Sith tho. Sith seem quite out numbered over here.

I love the BH PVP set, but the PVE set is very meh. Thank god I am a PVPer eh?
